Army Labeled Evangelicals
as Religious Extremists

Fox News, by Todd Starnes

Original Article

Posted By:STLstudent, 4/6/2013 10:17:05 AM

A U.S. Army training instructor listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism along with Al Qaeda and Hamas during a briefing with an Army Reserve unit based in Pennsylvania, Fox News has learned. “We find this offensive to have Evangelical Christians and the Catholic Church to be listed among known terrorist groups,” said Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “It is dishonorable for any U.S. military entity to allow this type of wrongheaded characterization.” The incident occurred during an Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief on extremism.

Comments:
Let their be no doubt, no question. The federal government of the U.S. has launched a conflict (if not a culture war) against Christianity as well as the economic and political principles that made this a great country. I have to ask myself the question, "What is the best way to prepare for the coming collapse and horror?"

U.S. Army leadership has become very PC and disagreement with PC, progressive doctrine in no longer tolerated. The military must be transformed into a politically reliable progressive institution. Stalin, Hitler and Mao all had to do the same with their militaries.

Lets face facts, Christian doctrine, teaching and morals are a threat to progressive government and culture. Therefore, Christianity must be eliminated or driven underground.

They can label me anything they want. I will still follow Christ´s teachings. Those of us who choose the way, the truth and the light already know that our declaration will bring on the sneers, the name-calling, the derisive laughter and the persecution. It goes with the territory. I only respond to one label that I hope will be mine forever--HIS!

I think civilians would be stunned to know the percentage of enlisted AND officers who describe themselves as "born-again" Christians (as opposed to simply religiously affiliated).

Examine this one not as an attack on our culture, but an attempt to divide (and cripple) our military.

They are on the wrong side of history. Our side has suffered much greater attacks but we always, and that is an absolute I am willing to stand by, win. Our side wins even in the face of overwhelming odds. We may lose a battle along the way but it only hardens our resolve. They are on the wrong side and what they are banking on will collapse. It is a belief system that has always failed and always will. Doesn´t mean war isn´t a trip through hell but our side always prevails.

Every tyranny needs an internal ´enemy of the people.´

Liberal, Democrat, conservative, Republican, almost everyone in the US is on a list, somewhere.

Now, the stage is set. All we need is a ´national emergency´ and to pick a demographic to blame it on, and the wars and atrocities can begin.

Lots of fun for the whole dang famly...

...and we did it all to ourselves.

I believe we have reached the most dangerous time since the Republic was formed. It should be crystal clear to everyone now that our Government intends to wage war on it´s Citizens. Most of us that saw this coming in 08 began preparing back then. I truly feel sorry for those who have not. They are starting a fight they cannot win. And they show it by their fear of Christianity.

The Social contract laid out in the Declaration of Independence and codified in the Constitution has been broken by the unending violations of that contract by our Federal, state and local gov´ts.

We, as free people, need to rise up and throw off this tyranny. That is the only option. It is our right and duty as Patriots re establish this Social contract based on private rights being protected by the Gov´t we establish. They are embodied in the Bill of Rights. The social contract demands that much of us.

Now are we up to the task, as were our Founding Fathers? WE THE PEOPLE, does that mean anything anymore?

A snowstorm in the South is about as rare as a glass of unsweetened tea at a church supper. Folks around Birmingham, Ala. weren’t all that worried though. The storm was only supposed to dust the city – not even enough powder for a Southern snowman. But a good number of those stranded motorists were able to find shelter in the storm thanks to the kindness and generosity of Chick-fil-A restaurant employees and the restaurant´s owner, Mark Meadows.

Record High in U.S. Say
Big Government Greatest Threat
Gallup Politics, by Jeffrey M. Jones    Original Article

Seventy-two percent of Americans say big government is a greater threat to the U.S. in the future than is big business or big labor, a record high in the nearly 50-year history of this question. The prior high for big government was 65% in 1999 and 2000. Big government has always topped big business and big labor, including in the initial asking in 1965, but just 35% named it at that time. The latest update comes from a Dec. 5-8 poll. Gallup has documented a steady increase in concern about big government since 2009, rising from 55% in March 2009 to 64% in November 2011 and 72% today.

Pope Francis has attacked the “dictatorship” of the global financial system and warned that the “cult of money” was making life a misery for millions. He said free-market capitalism had created a “tyranny” and that human beings were being judged purely by their ability to consume goods. Money should be made to “serve” people, not to “rule” them, he said, calling for a more ethical financial system and curbs on financial speculation. Countries should impose more control over their economies and not allow “absolute autonomy”, in order to provide “for the common good”.

The yardstick used in the immigration bill to determine border control may produce too rosy a picture of how well the Border Patrol is doing in cracking down on illegal crossings, according to an independent study released Monday that threatens to upend the immigration debate. In their 76-page report, three researchers at the Council on Foreign Relations also said the drop in illegal immigration is only partly a result of tougher border security and about two-thirds because of economic changes in Mexico and the U.S. that have made it less attractive for Mexicans to migrate north.
