GOP: Washington isn´t America;
The states are America

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Hi I’m Kansas Governor Sam Brownback. A week ago nearly a third of the world’s population celebrated Easter, the resurrection of Jesus. New life. Well, we need new life in our nation and economy. Washington is broke. Big spending programs are running out of money and change is coming. The ideas on how to fix the federal government are now percolating in the states, 30 of which are led by Republican governors. You see, you don’t change America by changing Washington. With video.

Indeed, the RNC national machine has unquestionably demonstrated that it certainly is NOT conservative/libertarian America. We, the non-food-stamp America, will likely want to focus our efforts on specific liberty-loving candidates.

The RNC will give us another Romney-McCain-Bush look-alike in 2016. Let´s send no money and give no support to the country club Republicans and their ilk.

So just about the time these brave states get their acts together, they´ll be infiltrated with all the liberals who can´t get jobs in the blue states so they´ll migrate to the red ones and bring the stench of economic death with them. Up go the welfare rolls, down go the neighborhoods.

Shhh...don´t go spreading the news! Just wish we weren´t so invested in our blue state to get out. Besides, we love our weather.

Or, in the case of Texas, it will be turned from red to blue, by inviting in millions of socialist leaning illegal immigrants from South of our border. Don´t ever think that these illegals don´t vote in our elections. They do.

I don´t agree.

New York City, the "Blue" states, and many demonRATic voters are indeed part of the aggregate Washington D.C. that "runs" America. Note, runs is a fleeting verb. When the credit is gone in 2016 Washington will have nothing.

The "Red" states are just that: states. They may be able to survive the coming insolvency of America.

The "voters" of Washington D.C. of the USA don´t stand a chance in the coming storm. As a group they have no assets.

GOP: 4 bipartisan House bills all
passed and ready for Senate action

You may not have been thinking about it at the time, but on Tuesday, when the president was delivering the State of the Union, we were observing a tradition prescribed by our Constitution. All branches of government and all walks of life gathering round in the people’s House. It is democracy at its finest. But these blessings do come with responsibilities. The Constitution also requires the president and Congress to heed the will of you, the people, and work together to carry out the business of the country. So in that spirit, Republicans identified 4 areas of bipartisanship.

Hi, everybody. This week, I delivered my State of the Union Address. Today, here’s the three-minute version. After four years of economic growth with eight million new private sector jobs, our unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been in more than five years. And with the economy speeding up, companies say they intend to hire more people this year. But while those at the top are doing better than ever, average wages have barely budged.

Barack Obama was in Wisconsin and Tennessee Thursday happy talking about "opportunity." He´s for it, by the way. "It´s good to be in Wisconsin," he told Wisconsin. Few hours later, "It´s good to be in Nashville." In both places he talked about the “opportunity” that comes with jobs and the “opportunity” that comes with education. As a word, "opportunity" polls well. Yet, these days whenever Obama has the opportunity to talk about his signature namesake "achievement," he rarely seizes the opportunity. The enterprising TV news video here shows why.

Barack Obama has never shown any great respect for ambassadors, a president´s hand-picked representative to another country. You´ll remember how shook up this president was over the 2012 murders of Amb. Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi; Obama flew off to Las Vegas fundraisers before the bodies were even cold. But two of Obama´s recent ambassadorial choices reveal the Democrat´s uber-political modus operandi—Max Baucus and George Tsunis.

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington state, No. 4 in the House GOP leadership, gives the Republican Party's response to the president's State of the Union: What an honor it is for me to be with you after the President’s State of the Union. Tonight we honor America — a nation that has witnessed the greatest rise of freedom and opportunity our world has ever seen. A nation where we are not defined by our limits, but by our potential. And a nation where a girl who worked at the McDonald’s Drive-Thru to help pay for college can be with you from the United States Capitol.

President Obama gave another speech Tuesday night. It was the 93rd time a president has personally delivered a State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress. And it sounded like it. Obama has looked as if he´s mailing it in recently. Not Tuesday night. He seemed genuinely involved and invested in his 7,000 words. Unfortunately for him and anyone who chose to listen to the whole 65 minutes, there wasn´t anything new or even much to invest any thought in. Ear candy for Obama lovers.

A survey arrived from the Obama crowd Monday. It asked what we most wanted to hear from the recovering smoker´s State of the Union address. That´s a trick, of course, to collect more emails and donations. The speech has been in the works for weeks with policies vetted by departments and key phrases poll-tested. It won´t surprise you after tonight that "income inequality" tested well. Our answer to what we most want to hear tonight is: “Thank you very much and may God bless America.” [Snip] This is all thanks to Woodrow Wilson.

Hi, everybody. [Snip] Sexual assault is an affront to our basic decency and humanity. And it’s about all of us — the safety of those we love most: our moms, our wives, our daughters and our sons. Because when a child starts to question their self-worth after being abused, and maybe starts withdrawing… or a young woman drops out of school after being attacked. It’s not just these individuals and their families who suffer. Our communities — our whole country — is held back.

Hi, I’m Senator Roy Blunt. In a few days, President Obama will deliver his sixth State of the Union address. According to recent reports, the President plans to use this speech as a kick-off for his so-called ‘year of action.’ He intends to focus on income inequality leading up to the midterm elections this year. Well, the President’s right about at least one thing. Americans are hurting.

Barack Obama has achieved acrimony among numerous sectors of Americans now fighting with each other bitterly. His ongoing efforts to screw up relations with America´s closest allies have enjoyed some success. Obama´s undercut the Poles, Czechs, Israelis, angered the Brits, Brazilians, Egyptians and insulted the Germans, Japanese and Indians. And Obama single-handedly made Vladimir Putin look like the Nobel Peace Prize winner over the American´s fictional red line in Syria. But Obama´s bid to ruin the U.S.-Canadian relationship is doomed to failure.

In his compelling and revealing new memoir, "Duty," former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates describes that tense evening in the White House situation room when the Obama crowd watched the assassination of Osama bin Laden real-time. When the world´s most wanted man had been popped, bagged and was enroute to the bottom of the Indian Ocean, Gates worried about leaks of operational details revealing how Special Ops conducts such raids nightly in the world´s deadliest corners. He asked everyone to promise to reveal nothing more of what they saw than the bare facts. We got him. He´s dead.

People weighed in on all sides, but one person who hasn’t been heard out is Dylan Farrow, 28, the writer and artist whom Allen was accused of molesting. Charles said it was "baffling ... that in our modern world we have such blind trust in science and technology that we all accept what science tells us about everything - until, that is, it comes to climate science." Moody´s rating agency has lowered the outlook for health insurers from stable to negative, blaming ObamaCare. Few Americans will shed tears for insurance companies. But the Moody´s announcement is a warning sign to taxpayers. They´ll be getting clobbered. Section 1342 of the Affordable Care Act forces taxpayers to make insurers whole for most of the losses incurred selling ObamaCare exchange plans through 2016. The bailout is designed to conceal the failure of the president´s signature health law until he is out of office. No one in the Obama administration talked up the advantages of bailing out insurers. WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is getting some time in front of the cameras before sitting down to watch the Super Bowl. Obama declined during a recent CNN interview to choose between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks in the title game, saying he didn´t want to offend either city. The White House

If rumours are to be believed, the 21-year marriage of Barack and Michelle Obama has been racked by screaming rows, allegations of infidelity and a string of jealous fights. While the White House has refused to comment on the reports there has been a distinct frostiness in the air between the couple in recent months. World peace? No problem for Tim Tebow. Turns out the Patriots did themselves and Tebow a huge favor by releasing him from his contract before the season. Tebow has cashed in on his #NoContract status with a pair of 30-second commercials for T-Mobile set to air during the Super Bowl. If this one is any indication, the rest of the field will be fighting for second place in the "Best in Show" category. The ad is both creative, funny and incredibly well-produced.
