First lady Michelle Obama
‘was mad’ watching biopic
about Jackie Robinson

Washington Times [DC], by Dave Boyer

First lady Michelle Obama told students Tuesday that she got “mad” watching a movie about the racism endured by baseball legend Jackie Robinson and his wife, Rachel. “It would have been easy for them to get mad, because I know I was mad just watching the movie,” Mrs. Obama told about 80 high school and college students at the White House. “But instead, they met hatred with decency. They gave their best every single day.” The students were attending a workshop about the new movie “42,” starring Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, the first black player

Jackie Robinson overcame real racism, not the imagined racism of today.

She´s been mad her entire life. She could learn some life lessons from Robinson´s dignity and courage. She´s never faced what he did and that´s good. It means progress, but she´ never admit it because she would have to downsize the chip on her shoulder.

This "workshop" was a publicity stunt staged on behalf of obama donor harrison ford, the movie, and the obamas. A secondary objective of this gathering was to stir up racial resentment. First and foremost the obamas are race pimps.

Enough with the "freed slaves" crap! NONE of you were born slaves in America, have you seen the NCAA tournament basketball college teams? Filled with 4 or 5 starting black teenage athletes! I watched several games with 10 players, all black! Ten black basketball players on the court, no whitey! So what on earth is there to be "mad" about, Chewbacca? You want mad?

When my Italian ancestors arrived here in the 1920´s, at Ellis Island, there was a New York bridge-building known as the Idlewild Project. The wage scale was posted for everyone to see...The sign said the following:

Whites $1.30 an hour
Blacks $1.20 an hour
Italians $1.10 an hour

OK, thats how they did things back then, that is history. Am I upset about that? Yeah, it kinda sticks in my craw that we were at the bottom, we Italian immigrants...but fast forward to today and you dont see US committing 75-80% of all violent crimes nor US underperforming in public schools. Is Chewy "mad" that that happened to we Italian immigrants? I doubt the idiot even KNOWS any history, just the black viewpoint of racial oppression that she reads about. What about the enslaved JEWS, Moochelle? Huh? Wise up, lady, you are one of the dumbest first ladies ever, and your Kenyan thug mulatto hubby is the WORST president in our great history! Arrivederci!

I would be far more impressed if she said she got mad at black on black crime or the various wildings that "her" people seem to like to get involved in so much or the "knock-out" games that young black thugs like to play with elderly white men. I doubt she finds much wrong with that sort of activity since it merely represents getting even with "whitey".

FTA: "We think that everybody in this country needs to watch this movie," Mrs. Obama said. "I can say with all sincerity that it was truly powerful for us. We walked away from that just visibly, physically moved by the experience of the movie, of the story."

Well, there´s a heady mix of the royal "we" and junior high language ["everybody... needs to watch this movie"] from the schussing Ivy Leaguer. Stand tall and proud, Princeton and Harvard.

Robinson "was taunted"? Oh, the humanity. The Copts in Egypt and other Christians across Africa and throughout the Muslim nations would settle for taunts, I´m sure, as opposed to being butchered, being burned alive in their churches. And Muslim girls might like to come home from school once in a while without an acid-drenching, Mo, you stinking, greedy, arrogant, cheating, lying, greedy, self-obsessed, arrogant, ignorant, law-license-less [pre-deleted].

And -- "baseball executive Branch Rickey"? That´s it? "Baseball executive"? Like he had no more role in it than the guys who marked the foul lines?

We´ll find Judge Crater and Jimmy Hoffa before we find evidence that Branch Rickey was the major figure in all this.

Granted, Robinson was the first black man to play in the Majors, but he isn´t the person who broke the color barrier. That person wasBrh Rickey. Haas the one who placed everything he owned on the line to bring Robinson to the Dodgers. If the fans had turned on Rickey, he would have been living under Intertte. He could have gone back and continue playing with Montreal in the Intl league. I have never been able to understand why Rickey is always overlooked as the person who "BROKE THE COLOR BARRIER".

Wookiee has mooched from others all her life. She lives an undeserved life of luxury that neither she NOR her thieving family deserves and she´s angry about past perceived, or imagined, racism? Well, I´m angry about black fraud and the fact that it was white people that fought and died (by the thousands) for the freedom of slaves a century and a half ago, without credit or appreciation!

I am also angry about her PeeWee Herman-like husband who is systematically destroying our country while committing impeachable offenses and there is no one in Washington who cares enough to hold him accountable.

No one alive today has ever been a slave and no one alive today has ever owned a slave. This is the most non-racist country in the world, so give it a freakin´ rest you ungrateful leech!

I watched the original movie about Jackie Robinson years ago. I wasn´t too impressed with the actor who played Jackie Robinson - not a great leading actor. Then I found out Jackie played himself in the movie. So some years later I had to watch it again. IMO if there was ever a hero in sports it was him, followed by the athlete who ran in front of Hitler at the Olympics and won gold, Jesse Owens. Both men performed excellently in very difficult circumstances. The so-called heroes in today´s sports make ridiculous amounts of money and on top of that sell shoes to kids for ridiculous amounts of money.

That movie did show who was the real mover and shaker, Branch Rickey. And he did it for baseball, for the good of the game. Our horrible first lady could take a lesson from him.

I was subjected to the hate-filled preview of this movie a few weeks ago. Michelle´s hatred, as well as her husband´s, is knowing Jackie Robinson´s achievements were based on his merit, not his skin color. The left´s hatred now is toward people like Dr. Benjamin Carson, who maintain the standards of Jackie Robinson. They promote it with revisionist history such as this movie. It´s meant to make the younger generation "mad", to keep the liberal lie alive by racist propaganda. Jackie Robinson was a baseball player. The Obamas are racist ideologues.

Hmmm - - I wonder how much of this movie will be devoted to the man who had the courage, the willpower, and the strength of character to risk everything in order to break baseball´s "color barrier´?

I´m referring of course to Branch Rickey - - without whom Jackie Robinson would have just been another obscure athlete.

I´m one of those who did read her Princeton thesis focused on "whitey" and her oppression. With all the other posters I´d like to know what it is that she hasn´t either had handed to her, stolen, ripped off, lied about, or treated herself to because of her perceived oppression. The woman is a flat footed liar and she insults Jackie Robinson by even daring to stand in the same arena he did.

First daughter Sasha Obama cut a stylish figure in jeans and shades as the Obama girls visited the Great Wall of China today. Michelle Obama, Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, were left alone to explore the Mutianyu section of the historical landmark in the northern Beijing suburbs though Chinese police officers looked on protectively. The three walked a stretch of the wall that looks out to a massive rock inscription on a hillside that reads in Chinese: ´Loyal to Chairman Mao.´ The country has been fascinated by Mrs Obama´s ´elegance´ during the weeklong visit to the country to promote educational

A feminist studies professor at a California state university is facing criminal charges after a videotaped run-in with a teenage pro-life demonstrator in which she snatched an anti-abortion sign and appeared to get physical with the girl. University of California at Santa Barbara Associate Professor Mireille Miller-Young was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft, battery and vandalism in the March 4 incident, Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce Dudley announced Friday. The charges came days after 16-year-old Thrin Short and her parents met with prosecutors. Thrin told authorities what she told FoxNews.com earlier this month: She, her older

First lady Michelle Obama told students that freedom of speech should be a universal right during her extravagant, no-press-allowed tour of China — a hypocritical move that will surely draw the ire of critics, according to an expert. “That is troublesome. That goes beyond hypocritical, and I think the American media and the international media has every right to call her and the Obama administration on that — that they permitted that to happen,” said Tom Whalen, a political history professor at Boston University. “It makes you shake your head, albeit sadly.” The first lady stopped at Peking University in Beijing yesterday

When Washington, D.C., councilman and former Mayor Marion Barry this week said that whites need to be “more open-minded” about African-American politicians, claiming “blacks are more open-minded than” whites, he was suggesting that whites can´t do what blacks do -- embrace the other race. But a new study of 212 black college students made available to Secrets found little open-mindedness: Blacks don´t like it when other blacks associate with whites, to the point of refusing help to an African-American experiencing “a run of bad luck” -- just because they have white friends. The study in the April edition of the authoritative journal

In a constituent meeting gone awry that was captured on shaky, amateur video, embattled Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) berated a group of local activists who oppose amnesty legislation, suggesting they were racist and saying they didn´t have “any damn facts.” “You´re telling me what people have told you? You don´t have any damn facts!” Ellmers exploded at one of the activists when he said that employers – who often claim a labor shortage to argue for amnesty – frequently don´t post job openings in that region.

First lady Michelle Obama told a group of Chinese students Saturday that free speech is a universal right that makes countries stronger. Nations are “stronger and more prosperous” when people’s opinions are heard," Obama said during her trip to China, which employs some of the strictest limits on the Internet. “We respect the uniqueness of other cultures and societies, but when it comes to expressing yourself freely and worshipping as you choose and having open access to information, we believe those universal rights — they are universal rights that are the birthright of every person on this planet,” she said

Last week Al Sharpton embraced convicted vote fraudster Melowese Richardson at a “voting rights” rally in Cincinnati. The United States Department of Justice under Eric Holder has done nothing to Melowese Richardson 410 days after she admitted on camera that she committed multiple federal felonies by voting six times for President Obama’s reelection. Federal law makes it a felony to vote more than once for President. In fact, 42 U.S.C. Section 1973i(e) subjects Richardson to twenty-five years in federal prison for her six votes for Obama. The lack of DOJ action against an unrepentant federal vote fraudster combined with Richardson’s lionization by

Quoting unnamed administration officials, CNN host Jake Tapper revealed that the White House is “concerned” that Russia could invade South and East Ukraine “possibly as soon as this weekend.” He said that, in spite of Russia’s assurances that the large numbers of troops and military equipment amassed along the Ukrainian border are there merely for training exercises, the White House believes that Moscow could be planning a broader incursion into Ukraine. “There is now real apprehension that Vladimir Putin could push even further into Ukraine, perhaps as soon as this weekend,” Tapper said. He quoted anonymous administration officials who are “concerned”

One of four gubernatorial candidates introduced to California Republicans recently is a registered sex offender who spent more than a decade in state prison, convicted of crimes including voluntary manslaughter and assault with intent to commit rape. (Snip) Champ, a little-known political neophyte from the Fresno County community of Tollhouse, did not directly mention his criminal past during his speech but said, "In my life, I´ve been held accountable because of my stupidity. I do not want anyone else to be enslaved because of their lack of knowledge." Champ´s rap sheet is lengthy. Court records show that in 1992,
