Former famed CIA director David Petraeus apologized last week for his blackmail-able extramarital affair with sycophant author Paula Broadwell that “caused such pain for [his] family, friends and supporters,” during an event honoring the military at the University of Southern California. While it must have been devastating for his wife Holly of 37 years to have to go to the family doctor to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases thanks to her husband’s infidelity and lies—something all spouses and partners need to do under such circumstances, that is between them. The truth is Petraeus is getting off easy.
So correct in the article regarding Petraeus getting off easy. I am not interested in one single detail about this sorry man´s new rehab tour. I suggest he and his family stay completely out of the spotlight. I think the only thing he is sorry about is the diminished earning potential he sees now with a stained reputation.
I don´t know whether to be amgry or sorry for this man. How men can let testosterone overtake their brain and reduce them to, as the Bible says, something like "a piece of bread" But then, not being male, I haven´t the understanding of the pressure they are under either. I heard that his wife forgave him, and that is something many women wouldn´t do. I couldn´t even vote for a man like Sanford, for example.
Obama knew all about Petraues´ problems and girlriends. That´s why he hired him - so he could use him later - and then he did. That´s what Chicago pols do - keep enemies close, set them up and use them. Hilary, Petraeus, etc. etc.
I never really understood the COIN policy until I read this article. What a scoundrel Petraeus turned out to be, forcing our soldiers to risk their lives daily on mindless foot patrols in Afghanistan. No wonder the situation is so bad over there. Plus Petraeus mislead Congress at first sbout a video being the cause of the attack on Benghazi. He was a self-absorbed crazy man who did his thinking below his belt.
Completely lost in the understandable uproar yesterday in excerpts from Ben Urwand’s upcoming book, The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact with Hitler is one of Hollywood’s dirtiest little ongoing secrets. The dark and dirty side of the Hollywood of the present day may never have come to light had it not been for Bill Donohue and the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. Hollywood letting Nazis censor scripts, removing credits from Jews and getting movies stopped before reaching the screen was Hollywood circa 1930s. Rich Hollywood stars and producers have much to feel guilty about, and perhaps this is part of the reason
The most effective way to survive President Barack Obama is to keep right on doing what he doesn’t want you to do. In one word: Communicate. These are the days when Communication is more important than most anything else. Communicate to as many others as you can by every means possible. Communication is how Obama keeps his control over America. Patriots taking a page out of Obama’s book will one day turn the tables on the most anti-American president in history. While he takes away jobs and deliberately stokes racial unrest, Obama wants you to suffer in silence. Don’t comply.
Move over Jane Fonda, President Barack Obama has all but toppled you from that iconic anti-aircraft gun perch as as America’s top Communist Viet Nam booster. Talking to reporters as he stood beside Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang yesterday, Obama told his biggest whopper to date:...”we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson.” (Fox News, July 25, 2013) (Snip) Truth is Ho Chi Minh was about as inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson as Obama is.
Putting your private parts out on public display is a guarantee for overnight celebrity. Scandalous as he is, Anthony D-for-dong-Weiner counts on the celebrity of being married to Huma Abedin, a longtime close aide to Hillary Clinton, in membership of the celebrity class that now rocks the world. Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Barack Obama and asundry others in Extroverts-Are-Us Inc. are the darlings of today’s celebrity class. Celebrity status is so blindly admired by the masses in today’s pop culture that Obama is using celebs to make Obamacare a fait accompli.
Of course, Obama will do everything humanly possible to bail out Detroit—in one fashion, or another. There can be no question about it. After all, Detroit IS spelled: U-N-I-O-N. There are a host of municipalities standing by, holding their collective breath as they wait to see what the federal government will do about Detroit. IF the US government writes a check to Detroit, get ready. The flood gates will open and, in the twinkling of an eye, the US Treasury will be bone dry—or at least
Like the long ago Stella of movie fame, President Barack Obama seems to be losing his groove with his own dissident army of low information voters on the race riot march. Proof of Obama’s gargantuan groove dive: At Friday’s White House press conference: “Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.” Obama-style one upmanship after saying: “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon”. This should have been all that Rev. Al Sharpton needed to take millions of protesters to the streets in the beginning of what originally looked like an America
The latest liberal idiocy involves white college kids apologizing for their “white privilege” by declaring “I am not Trayvon Martin”. Of course they’re more likely to get assaulted going through a black neighborhood, than the Trayvon Martins are going through a white neighborhood, but facts like that stopped mattering years ago. So let me take my own shot at it. I am not Trayvon Martin. Not just because if confronted by a local Latino homeowner, I’m not likely to pick up a fight with him and beat him until he shoots me.
“We have just learned that Larry Grathwohl was found dead in his Cincinnati apartment,” colleague Doug Hagmann wrote in an email to Canada Free Press (CFP) this evening. “Many of us are in shock tonight,” Tina Trent wrote in her blog. The lifelong courage of Larry Grathwohl brought him legions of fans, many of whom will be heartbroken upon hearing this news. It was Grathwohl who awakened America to the inherent dangers of Barack Obama in the run up to the 2008 presidential election when he described a meeting he attended where Bill Ayers and Weather Underground
US Attorney General Eric Holder has geared up and is apparently in full combat mode for a righteous war on violence against the young. Yes, this is the same Eric Holder who was party to the shipment of guns to Mexico in the Fast and Furious scandal, which cost hundreds of Mexicans and Americans their lives. And this is the same scoundrel who is still in contempt of Congress for failing to turn over documents related to that awful debacle. THAT Eric Holder has now audaciously appointed himself the great protector of the young and innocent, as reported:
It should go without saying that love and pride of country should be the first qualifications for anyone seeking the presidency of America. President Barack Hussein Obama came into the power of the White House as an activist—pushed by activists. Foreboding for the future of America, Obama will always be an activist . He doesn’t know what else to be because he’s always been an activist. Even as an Illinois senator, he merely wore the title without doing any of the heavy lifting. In the day-to-day running America, Obama leans on the tools of activism and has been doing
A lie is a lie in any language. A lie is a lie in any country. And on today’s political front there is no bigger liar than President Barack Hussein Obama. Obama, who reiterated only yesterday that the U.S. is not aligned with and is not supporting any particular political party or group while condemning the ongoing violence across Egypt, is lying and his condemnation of the violence merely the far away mewlings of a paper tiger. Obama gave Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi $250-million only last March 5th. Obama also gave Morsi 200 Abrams tanks and 12 F-16s delivered in
How do you spell “OORAH” in Arabic? The outcome of what may have been the largest pro-democracy demonstrations in human history has shown President Barack Hussein Obama for what he really is: a Muslim Brotherhood-advocating failure. With Obama’s $250 million March 2013 gift still in his pocket; the 12 F-16s already delivered this year, with the promise of another eight by the end of the year, and 200 (count ‘em) Abrams tanks, Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi is under house arrest. The coup d’état that saw millions cheering on the streets in what is allegedly the
Mark Levin, who hosts one of America´s top radio talk shows and is considered by supporters to be the people´s pundit on the Constitution, is rallying his 8.5 million-strong audience to demand an historic convention of state governments to halt the "oppressive power" of the federal government. The author of two New York Times bestsellers on the threats to the Constitution, Levin hopes his latest, "The Liberty Amendments," out mid-August, will spark the state lawmakers to tap a rarely used Constitutional provision to institute measures that would brake President Obama´s use of executive orders, bar thousand-page laws and
Colin Powell has admitted to exchanging ´very personal´ emails with a Romanian diplomat but denies having an affair with the much younger woman after a hacker threatened to release their intimate messages. The 76-year-old retired general told the Smoking Gun that he met Corina Cretu, 45, roughly 10 years ago when she was working as an assistant to the president of Romania. She is now a member of the European Parliament. ´After I left the Department of State in January 2005 we stayed in touch via email,´ he told TSG.
The former commander of special operations in Northern Africa told a closed-door briefing today that he was largely detached from events the night of the Benghazi attack as he was traveling at the time. The testimony of Col. George H. Bristol, USMC, Former Commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Africa, had been eagerly anticipated by members of Congress. Originally, lawmakers had been told by the Defense Department that he had retired — the actual date is Aug. 1, an “administrative error” according to the Pentagon — and that they didn’t have
FORNEY, Texas - George Zimmerman, the former Florida neighborhood watch leader cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, was pulled over for speeding in North Texas on Sunday, CBS DFW reports. According to the station, Zimmerman was armed when officers pulled him over on Highway 80 in Forney, east of Dallas. (Snip) The officer reportedly did not recognize Zimmerman, who was driving a Honda pickup. Zimmerman told the officer he was armed and was then told to put the weapon in his glove compartment, according to the station.
Arizona Sen. John McCain was the Republican Party´s 2008 presidential nominee and he still wants the keys to the Oval Office. But he is beginning to sound more like a fan of likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. "She´s a rock star," he said in a newly released interview. "She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world," he added in a reference to her work as secretary of State. McCain, reportedly trying to win back his reputation as a GOP maverick, was asked by the New Republic
Serial sexter Anthony Weiner’s wife partly blamed herself last year when her horndog husband confessed to her that he was at it again. Friends and family told People magazine that Huma Abedin was kicking herself at the time for bailing out of couples counseling and focusing more on their newborn baby boy. But, thanks to a new round of joint therapy that continues even now, the couple was able to put the relapse behind them. “They really became a unit, and she feels much closer to Anthony now,” a relative told the magazine. That’s a long way from how Abedin
Gotta figure her lead would be even bigger without Joe Miller in the field here. Her nomination for the taking? Alaska should be a top tier pick up opportunity for Senate Republicans next year…but their top choice of a candidate is Sarah Palin. 36% of GOP primary voters in the state say they’d like Palin to be their standard bearer against Mark Begich to 26% for Mead Treadwell, 15% for Dan Sullivan, and 12% for Joe Miller.
Sen. John McCain — a Democrat? There was confusion Wednesday after the Arizona Republican mistakenly strolled into President Obama’s meeting with Senate Democrats at the Capitol. The room full of Democrats — who happened to be meeting in the same room where the Senate GOP usually holds their weekly policy luncheons — erupted in applause and laughter as the former Republican presidential candidate made his entrance. As McCain, 76, walked out of the Dem-filled space, reporters pressed him as to why he stepped foot in the room.
In preparation for the release of Oscar-bait film The Butler, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, and director Lee Daniels (Precious) sat down with Parade magazine. The film chronicles a butler (Whitaker) who works in the White House through seven administrations. Winfrey plays the butler’s wife. In the interview, Winfrey explained her sadness that so few Americans know about the history of the civil rights movement: “They don’t know diddly-squat. Diddly-squat.” She then said of the historic use of the n-word, “I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last
If we learned anything about Barack Obama in his first term it is that when he starts repeating the same idea over and over, what´s on his mind is something else. The first term´s over-and-over subject was "the wealthiest 1%." Past some point, people wondered why he kept beating these half-dead horses. After the election, we knew. It was to propagandize the targeted voting base that would provide his 4% popular-vote margin of victory—very young voters and minorities. They believed. He won. The second-term over-and-over, elevated in his summer speech tour, is the shafting of the middle class. But
In her first speech since taking over the Environmental Protection Agency, Gina McCarthy came out swinging Tuesday and promised to ramp up the aggressive climate change agenda laid out by President Obama.(snip)“Can we stop talking about environmental regulations killing jobs? Please, at least for today,” she said during remarks at Harvard Law School. “We need to cut carbon pollution to grow jobs. We need to cut carbon pollution to strengthen the economy. Let’s talk about it positively. Let’s approach this as an opportunity of a lifetime. There are too many lifetimes at stake.”
[Video] Ouch. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie turned down an offer by Sen. Rand Paul to join him for a beer and bury the hatchet in their ongoing -- and very public -- feud. "I´m running for re-election in New Jersey. I don´t really have time for that at the moment," Christie said in an interview on a local radio station. The New Jersey governor said if he finds himself in Washington, "I´ll certainly look him up." But he added: "I don´t suspect I´ll be there anytime soon. I´ve got work to do here."
