The warmest day of the year so far brings hundreds of mischievous teens to Michigan Avenue. Police are calling it ‘mob action’. CBS 2 is learning about multiple incidents in at least four different locations along the Magnificent Mile and in the Gold Coast, yielding a slew of arrests. Things got pretty bad, very quickly with many innocent shoppers and tourists caught in the middle of a very chaotic situation. Hundreds of teens littered Michigan Avenue and State Street near Chicago. Things started to go bad around 6:00 p.m. Saturday, with teens purposely bumping into people,
"Mischievous teens"?? Seriously? Only by the "msm" in chicago and other "urban" areas would a gang of sub-human-roving-thugs be called "mischievous". BTW, If obama had a lot of "sons", they would look just like them.
It must have been terribly difficult to do the article and find only wite skinned people being told to go here and there by the police- they did show one white man injured. but, no mention or show what-so-ever of the race of the perptrators. Media goes wild! Cover up any and all reference to race thugery! Read ´teens´ - understand ´black thug gangs´
Who are the ONLY ethnic group that cost us so much and cause our society so much trouble, crime, violence, and loss?? Irish? German? Lebanese? Venezuelan? Italian? Greek? Scandinavian? Korean? Japanese? Nope.
Wait for it....(because THEY(the liars in the lap-dog enemedia) wont tell you)..
There , I told you the truth, now crucify me! (Ooops, pardons to our savior!)
I´ve got a solution, but the rump swabs and the left-wing NAZI´s would call me even MORE names.
Thank GOD I got my family the hell out of what we now call...Chi CA-CA! It´s only a good place to be FROM....
Rahmbo ....the Communist, Marxist, Scciailst race baiter...setting his army on the taxpayers ...as they demand more more more.
Rahmbo will not be electable for dog catcher...and he will be left in the ash heap of what had once been the beautiful city on the lake ..Chicago....
Now becomming indistinguishable from Detroit....and Obama and Holders people are the destructive force at work....the Black Liberation Marxist policies of entitlement ....of paying for these animals to procreate on the backs of the taxpayer must stop... You contribute, you earn your own way...no assistance, no elevation, no entitlements... because of your skin tone....earn it..Your entitled to nothing.....Earn....or be sent to the empty houses of Detroit ...to exist in that zoo.
These people are frustrated that white people still seem to be doing ok and they haven´t gotten their reparations they thought Obama would deliver. So they´re out there helping themselves to things the gov´t isn´t delivering on.
Yet you have the BET founder scratching his head over high black unemployment, when they are their own worse enemy.
Luckily , our son moved away from Beirut on L Michigan a couple of years ago. I can´t imagine ever going there again and if I had to, I´d take my dog with me. You know , the one barks over here and bites way over there.
What #23 said, but I would add bad policing...the Illinois State Rifle Association issued a good press release today summing up this mess and calling for the police chief´s head but I don´t think the rules allow me to post the link...Google it!
The lawful citizen knows that it´s corrupt [and race-bigoted] pols who are to blame for failing to deal with such rampant criminality, and who are responsible for the cultural decline that encouraged the rise of the feral sub-culture.
"[T]here is a degree of depravity in mankind which requires a certain degree of circumspection and distrust." ~~ James Madison
"[We can] evade reality, but we cannot evade the consequences of evading reality" ~~ Ayn Rand
"[E]vils which are not cured in one way will cure themselves in some other." ~~ Thomas Jefferson
Indeed. We are a very, very patient people, in part of course because the decent, lawful Americans who did in fact "build [this nation]" are overburdened trying to keep it, its principles, and their families afloat. One day, they will have had too much of being pushed into corners. On one side will criminal mobs of maybe a few hundred here and there, many no doubt with ill-cared-for stolen guns and no training. On the other side will be millions with... "characteristics" I won´t describe further. Most of them will be the people you want to have "watching your back."
But as for the feral culture -- when one is called to answer for myriad sins and crimes, called to answer for them in a single instant, well, the result may be... harsh.
The Olympic Committee knew what they were doing when they skipped Bammy´s Chicagoland as a place to hold the Olympics. They knew it was not a safe place for tourists. I will surely stay away from that dangerous place where an innocent visitor is likely to get shot or beaten up or robbed by a gang-banger. Welcome to the Chicago Way.
The report is remarkably conflicted and never manages to find its balance as it wobbles between trivializing the event and seeming to acknowledge almost against its will the grave significance of such behavior The remarks of the "community activist" observer are of course right on target and speak volumes about the problem:
"I caution those parents if their child has been arrested which numerous teenagers have been arrested tonight, that you need to think about your child. Just don’t say the Chicago police picked on your child, when we were watching all the assault going on, especially by teen women,” said Holmes[the community activist who observed the attacks]."
We need much larger prisons. Much much larger. And we need to keep social malcontents in jail until gray hair appears. Thats about he rit time to let them enjoytheir food stamps and ebt cards on the outside. Thats all these people will ever be... A burdon on society.
If your dog bites someone you face punishment. Leave your children alone at home or in a car, and they are taken from you. Arrest the parents for abandonment of their children. Trust me it will work better than arresting the feral youth.
For years criminals have given many people a curfew. They just don´t go out at night. Today, you don´t want to go out in the daytime alone. Who needs laws ?
These mob attacks are sanctioned & encouraged by the usual poverty pimps & Holder in speeches to them. It´s a form of restitution for blacks. Just take what you want & punish whitey.
What´s scary is the physical violence unrelated to stealing stuff or destroying property... just to cause pain & fear... and the black girls are into it more than the boys.
It would be sooo easy to stop; They organize over social networks & even without hacking, someone could get added to the distr. list. The Progressives want these riots to continue.... fear makes serfs beg for gov´t intervention.
Either President Obama needs a new speechwriter, or he needs a new set of economic policies. Actually, he needs both. Can anyone think of a more boring, banal, irrelevant, or stale speech than the one he gave this Thursday in Washington DC? The speech was allegedly on the economy, but more likely it was to divert attention from the Obamacare catastrophe. Whatever the motive, his idea that the defining challenge of our time is to reduce income inequality is completely wrong. In truth, the defining challenge is to restore more rapid economic growth, create substantially more jobs, and significantly reduce
President Obama on Thursday said that Republicans should be “embarrassed” that they have not done more on Capitol Hill, blaming them for Washington gridlock. “They´ve got to be embarrassed,” the president said in an interview on MSNBC’s "Hardball with Chris Matthews." “Because the truth of the matter is that they´ve now been in charge of the House of Representatives, one branch of, or one chamber in one branch of government, for a couple of years now and they just don´t have a lot to show for it.” Obama said that congressional Republicans were too fearful of offending their conservative base to
On Tuesday, The Boston Globe reported that Onyango “Omar” Obama, uncle to President Obama, says that his famous nephew stayed with him while a student at Harvard Law School in the 80s, in contradiction to The White House’s contention that the two had never met. At Thursday’s White House daily briefing, Press Secretary Jay Carney confirmed that the President had, in fact, briefly stayed with “his father’s half-brother,” as Carney described Omar Obama, and that no one had actually asked the President about it when the White House initially commented. The 69 year-old Omar Obama has been facing deportation back
On Thursday, in the aftermath of South African iconic leader Nelson Mandela’s death at age 95, President Obama’s White House account tweeted a tribute to Mandela – a picture of Obama in Mandela’s Robben Island prison cell, along with a quote from Obama about Mandela: (Photo/Tweet) Even in paying tribute to a historic figure, President Obama couldn’t help but make it about him.
As President Obama wrapped up his conversation with Chris Matthews at American University, he took a swipe at the partisan media for dividing the country and making compromise more difficult. Obama said being the Commander-in-Chief for so long “makes you humbler, as opposed to cockier,” and compared himself to Sisyphus, rolling the boulder up the hill for eternity with little success. He spoke of how enthusiastic young people encourage him and give him confidence, only for the media to take that enthusiasm and use it to divide people. “The American people are good and they are decent, and yes, sometimes
Chris Matthews got his long-desired wish on Thursday, an exclusive interview with Barack Obama. The Hardball anchor didn´t exactly live up to the title of his show, wondering about Republican efforts to "make it difficult for minorities to vote" and questioning who was better, Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden? Talking to the President at American University, Matthews read a question from Twitter: "What can we do to stop the GOP, the Republicans, from rigging the states, rigging the votes, state by state, to disenfranchise voters and destroy our democracy?" The host added, "Thirty six states right now led by Republican
Wednesday night, MSNBC "Hardball" host Chris Matthews announced that his interview with the president, which is scheduled for today, gave him "the Christmas Eve excitement." Outside the left-wing fever swamp of MSNBC, Matthews is perhaps most famous to the American people for his 2008 comment about how an Obama speech put a "thrill up his leg." In his latest campaign effort to rehabilitate his sinking presidency and health care law, President Obama will sit down with Matthews this afternoon in front of a group of college students. The audience is no accident. Obama desperately needs healthy Millennials to be stupid
Rep. George Holding (R-N.C.) has proposed legislation that would require federal officials and others who use ObamaCare data to commit identify theft to serve a five-year prison term. His No Identify Theft in Health Care Act, H.R. 3652, is yet another response to the troubled ObamaCare rollout. Over the last week, reports have surfaced quoting computer security experts who said HealthCare.gov has virtually no data security measures in place. Under Holding´s bill, healthcare "navigators" or anyone else guilty of using ObamaCare data for an identify theft scheme would face prison time. Many bills amending criminal statutes set maximum prison sentences,
A new Gallup poll has President Obama’s job approval rating among Hispanics has declined 23 points since the end of last year. The drop is the largest of any subgroup surveyed and about double the decline for all respondents. Obama’s approval rating with Hispanics in November 2013 is 52 percent. In December 2012 it was 75 percent, down 23 points in 12 months. The president’s overall approval rating was 41 percent in November 2013, down from 53 percent in November of 2012.
Did you hear the one about the U.S. Post Office and the Statue of Liberty? So the Postal Service decides to issue a stamp commemorating perhaps the single most iconic image around the world representing the United States of America, the country that the post office serves so faithfully — rain, snow, or shine. (Photo)They get a nice picture of Lady Liberty, her greenish copper gaze across New York Harbor welcoming the masses to a new land of hope and promise and opportunity. They print it up First Class at the rate of “Forever,” as in a timeless promise that
Nobody is coming for your guns, they said. Nobody is taking away your rights, they said. This is all about public safety, they said. Nearly a year ago, the New York legislature passed the toughest gun control law in the country known as the S.A.F.E. Act. It was rushed through in the middle of the night and as soon as it landed on Governor Cuomo´s desk, he signed it without asking questions. Now, local and state government are taking the opportunity to crack down on regulations already on the books which means for many, turn in your guns or leave.
An academic was the first to cross the invisible line. “The ultimate check on presidential lawlessness is elections and, in extreme cases, impeachment,” Georgetown law professor Nicholas Rosenkranz told Representative Darrell Issa at a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday on the president’s duty to uphold the law. With that first mention of the “i word,” leaks began springing from the dam that had been holding back the House GOP lawmakers united by frustration with President Obama’s executive abuses. Republicans have been watching impotently as Obama has walked all over the law, with increasing brazenness the further he gets into his tenure.
I have never been much of a conspiracy theorist. For me it was always Oswald by himself from the Texas School Book Depository and nothing in the intervening fifty years has disabused me of this notion. For the most part, I’m an Occam’s Razor kind of guy — the most obvious explanation is likely to be true. (Snip) To put it bluntly, Occam’s Razor has moved. Things that were once possibilities now seem almost certainties to me. Principal among those is that Obama’s academic records are perpetually unavailable for a reason — and that reason is most likely that they reveal
One of President Obama´s chief political assets has been his ability to excite young people like almost no politician in history. But the days of America´s youth fawning over the president are over. A new Harvard University Institute of Politics poll released Wednesday confirms what other surveys have shown in recent months: Millennials have soured on Obama so much this year that their opinion of him largely mirrors the American public´s. Even though Obama does not ever have to face another election, he should be worried about the findings for a couple of reasons, which we will dive into momentarily.
A stunning new study unveiled on Fox News´ Hannity finds that President Barack Obama’s White House calendar records just one face-to-face meeting between Obama and his Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in the more than three-and-a-half years leading up to the disastrous Obamacare launch. The startling statistic comes from a new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) analysis of Obama’s own official White House calendar, as well as the Politico presidential calendar, and raises new questions about Obama’s executive leadership and management throughout the implementation of his singular legislative achievement. More alarming still, the president’s schedule lists 277 private
[Video] President Obama on Wednesday declared that addressing income inequality would be the focus of “all” of the White House’s efforts “for the rest of my presidency.” In a sweeping address that touched on raising the minimum wage, investing in infrastructure and ending tax breaks for the wealthy, Obama warned that the American economy has become “profoundly unequal,” declaring economic mobility the “challenge of our time.” “The combined trends of increasing inequality and decreasing mobility pose a fundamental threat to the American dream, our way of life, and what we stand for around the globe,” he said in an hour-long
Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways. Here’s the statement from Martin Bashir, via email: After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday. Upon
Amid an array of “knock-out” attacks against a number of Jews in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood, a city councilwoman pointed to the success of the Jewish community as triggering the aggression. Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo emphasized that while she “admire[s] the Jewish community immensely” for its work ethic, black teens may see it differently. “While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success,” Cumbo, who was recently elected, wrote in a letter. Chief among the issues
America is facing a wave of strikes by its fast-food workers on Thursday a day after Barack Obama warned that inequality in the USA had soared to the point that it now posed "a fundamental threat to the American dream". Low-paid workers in McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and other fast-food outlets in 100 cities across America were due to start rolling strikes to protest at the low level of America´s $7.25 (£4.45) federal minimum wage. The strikes are the latest part of a mushrooming publicity campaign for higher wages among those working so-called "McJobs", with fast-food restaurants seen as a
The world premiere of the “Ballad for Trayvon Martin for Orchestra and Jazz Quartet” is set for tonight. Princeton University’s director of its jazz-studies program composed the work in honor of the Florida teen. Anthony D. J. Branker told the Star-Ledger that the piece is intended to “be a form of healing” after Martin’s death and the controversial court case that followed it. The ballad, which will be performed by the university’s official orchestra and jazz ensemble, is intended to be a tribute to victims of racial violence, Branker explained. He hopes that the performance will be “one that speaks to
The president put in his ask to Disney CEO Bob Iger at a private meeting with entertainment moguls during his Nov. 26 visit to Jeffrey Katzenberg´s DreamWorks Animation. [snip] If you have any doubt as to how much of a sports junkie Barack Obama is, check in with the entertainment moguls who attended a private briefing with the president Nov. 26 before his speech at Jeffrey Katzenberg´s DreamWorks Animation campus in Glendale. At the end of the conversation -- which touched on a myriad of topics, from piracy to Iran -- Obama revealed what´s at the top of his bucket
A new report from the Texas-based Quorum Report, published by longtime Texas journalist Harvey Kronberg, says that House Speaker John Boehner plans to push amnesty legislation through the House, after the primary filing deadline for candidates. The move would prevent Tea Party from challenging GOP lawmakers who support amnesty in 2014. Scott Braddock reported on Tuesday that “in recent weeks, various Texas business interests have told Quorum Report that Boehner has been telling them that he will start holding immigration votes not long after the filing deadline has passed.”
Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) on Tuesday reintroduced legislation that would require the government to study the most practical ways of taxing drivers based on how far they drive, in order to help fund federal highway programs. Blumenauer´s bill, H.R. 3638, would set up a Road Usage Fee Pilot Program, which he said would study mileage-based fee systems. He cast his bill as a long-term solution for funding highway programs, and proposed it along with a shorter-term plan to nearly double the gas tax, from 18.4 cents to 33.4 cents per gallon. "As we extend the gas tax, we must also think about
U.S. immigration officials are considering a proposal from Chinese investors to create a multibillion-dollar development in New York’s Catskills called "China City" -- raising concerns among critics about the potential cost to U.S. taxpayers and, according to one analyst, the possibility it could be a "stalking horse" for the Beijing government. A spokesman from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services told FoxNews.com that the proposal for Thompson, N.Y., has not been approved but is under consideration. The mysterious proposed development appears to be a step beyond the types of ethnic enclaves
