Marco Rubio: Reports of immigration

Politico, by Mike Allen

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) issued an Easter morning statement saying he is “encouraged” by progress in talks on immigration reform, but added: “Reports that the bipartisan group of eight senators have agreed on a legislative proposal are premature.” The headline of his statement, timed for release just before the Sunday talk shows: “Rubio: No final agreement on immigration legislation yet.” Rubio, whose support is crucial if the Senate’s “Gang of Eight” is to have a deal, spoke out a day after business and union groups signed off on a temporary-worker program that appeared to be the

Didn´t I read that the Demonrats were going to "ram" it through. Why not believe what they say, look how they accomplished Hell Care. They sure are deserving of the moniker, the party of the "Battering Ram". Governing against the will of the people is their style and they are proud of it.

Premature, that is, until he gets his liveshot to pronounce how fair and reasonable it all is to get this issue off the table.

This is a fraudulently named "temporary" foreign worker or guest worker program being pushed by the liberal Democrats, their union allies, and some cheap labor Republicans. There is nothing new about that.

They claim that they can eliminate a lot of future mass uncontrolled illegal immigration by simply creating a easy legal way for prospective illegal aliens to come into the USA and work. There is no provision that they ever thereafter must leave and go beck to their home countries.

In fact they also propose a special way that all can become US citizens, and of course attain US voting rights. There would be 200,000 low wage workers included in the program every year on into the future who would be able to bring their foreign families here. Once here after a period of time, the first 200,000 could become US citizens, and then each year the following 200,000 could also apply for US citizenship.

Once legally here as guest workers earning a low wage, all would be eventually be granted access to all the federal and state social welfare programs and Obamacare that they and their families would need to survive here, and essentially have their low wages subsidized by Americans who actually do pay taxes.

This is only one of several such "temporary" foreign labor programs that are being proposed. Another is called AGJOBS that brings in hundreds of thousands of new foreign agricultural workers each year on into the future. They would never have to leave and would eventually also be granted US citizenship.

The liberal Democrats and the unions would never be for those foreign worker importation programs if they ever thought that more then a very small percentage of those low wage workers would ever vote for Republicans or conservatives in the years ahead!

Rubio wants his two cents on this before he gives it his blessing.

I don´t trust Rubio on illegal aliens (not immigrants) he wants the Spanish speaking illegals for what he thinks will vote for him when in reality the dems own their votes.

Rubio is a liar on this one.

For decades, Toshiaki Toyoshima has followed the same ritual each morning at his downtown restaurant: He ties on his indigo happi — a short-sleeved Japanese chef´s jacket — and dons a white cap before he begins cutting fish for nearly 500 customers who dine at Sushi Gen daily. But in January, Toyoshima´s tradition-bound routine was upset. He had to add a step: A new law now forces him to snap on a pair of thin vinyl gloves before he can touch the fish. His gloved hands seem to move no less deftly as he stands behind mounds of tuna fillets

Pennsylvania´s famed groundhog emerged from his lair in front of thousands of fans around daybreak Sunday. Fresh from taunting rival Chris Christie as “the king of bacon,” and declaring their feud “water under the bridge,” Paul turned his slingshot at a bigger target, the Big Dog himself, the gallivanting global statesman who is more popular than he has ever been, the master politician who has had to sell President Obama to America only a few years after he so vituperatively tried to turn off America on

Moody´s rating agency has lowered the outlook for health insurers from stable to negative, blaming ObamaCare. Few Americans will shed tears for insurance companies. But the Moody´s announcement is a warning sign to taxpayers. They´ll be getting clobbered. Section 1342 of the Affordable Care Act forces taxpayers to make insurers whole for most of the losses incurred selling ObamaCare exchange plans through 2016. The bailout is designed to conceal the failure of the president´s signature health law until he is out of office. No one in the Obama administration talked up the advantages of bailing out insurers. Tebow has cashed in on his #NoContract status with a pair of 30-second commercials for T-Mobile set to air during the Super Bowl. If this one is any indication, the rest of the field will be fighting for second place in the "Best in Show" category. The ad is both creative, funny and incredibly well-produced.
