No Media Outrage After Sotomayor
´Compares´ Homosexuality to Incest

Breitbart's Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

Posted By:Toledo, 3/31/2013 7:38:47 AM

If you want proof of how vicious the mainstream media is when it comes to punishing black conservatives for daring to be black and conservative, look no further than the media´s coordinated attack against the openly conservative Dr. Ben Carson for making the exact same kind of argument about same-sex marriage as Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor did on the exact same day. Tuesday night, during an appearance on Fox News Channel´s "Hannity," Sean Hannity asked Dr. Carson about his thoughts on same-sex marriage. Here is Carson´s response in full.

The largest portion of what is commonly referred to as the "Mani Stream Media" has been co-opted by the Leftist, Socialist-Democ´Rat Machine. It is unashamedly, been reduced to a role of just ´pi,ping their party line´. They and their lap dog television (Alphabet Media) do not pass along to the public News.. They just disseminate the Regime´s Propaganda. They have no more credibility. They have become a National Joke.

There is much to be outraged about in what this article brings to us.

That the media will try (and probably succeed) to destroy Dr. Carson is a given. And the attempts will be even more vicious than what they did to Clarence Thomas. [A nurse named Anita Hill will be ´discovered´ in Dr. Carson´s past. Count on it. And count on her being represented by Gloria Alred. You´ve all seen this script before.]

But the stumbling, bumbling way in which this "wise Latina" posed her question to Theodore Olsen, one of the most brilliant (and craftiest) lawyers on the scene today, makes me ashamed of her.

Mr. Olson, the bottom line that you´re being asked -- and -- and it is one that I´m interested in the answer: If you say that marriage is a fundamental right, what State restrictions could ever exist? Meaning, what State restrictions with respect to the number of people, with respect to -- that could get married -- the incest laws, the mother and the child, assuming they are of age -- I can -- I can accept that the State has probably an overbearing interest on -- on protecting the a child until they´re of age to marry, but what´s left?

He should never have apologized, even couched in the usual "if I offended you" form. Carson should have simply turned the tables on the NAMBLA, bestiality "haters´ in the liberal community. They demand tolerance, and refuse to give it to these other poor souls craving a state sanction of the unconventional love interests with which they were born. I have pressed many liberal with the exact same argument, and when they attempt to draw a line anywhere, I call them haters and intolerant as shown by their hypocrisy. Stop being nice...no quarter!

Rep. Trey Gowdy: How Does Lois Lerner

Breitbart Big Government, by Charlie Spiering    Original Article

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) challenged the notion that former IRS official Lois Lerner still had the right to remain silent since she had made factual assertions since she invoked her Fifth Amendment right. Gowdy said that he counted 17 separate factual assertions by Lerner which in his opinion was enough to force her to be cross-examined. “That’s a lot of talking for someone who wants to remain silent. That’s a lot of talking!” Gowdy thundered. “If you honestly that you can make 17 separate factual assertions and still invoke your right to remain silent, then please tell me what waiver is?”

MONTGOMERY - AL - A statement made on the floor of the state house last month in Montgomery got a loud reply this afternoon from angry parents. State representative Alvin Holmes said republican lawmakers would support abortion if their daughters became pregnant by black men. Holmes later said he would offer $100,000 cash to anyone who could show "a whole bunch of whites" have adopted black children in Alabama. Today at the state house, white parents who adopted mixed race or minority children said it´s time for Holmes to ´pay up.´ Beverly Owings is an adoptive mother of a 13-year-old bi-racial daughter. Hirsi Ali said, “For the last 12 years I have systematically been condemned by Muslim individuals… any time that I bring up the treatment of women in Islam.” She said that the people who protested the Brandeis honor cherry-picked from various interviews she’s done over the years “to fit their own narrative.”

Moore thought it was the start of a fistfight and went to break it up. But 16-year-old Alex Hribal wasn´t throwing punches - he was stabbing his victim in the belly, Moore said. The suspect got up and slashed Moore´s face, then took off down

New York - Most New Yorkers don´t even know it exists. But a million forgotten souls are buried in mass graves dug by convicts on a tiny, forbidden island east of the Bronx. Since 1869, still-born babies, the homeless, the poor and the unclaimed have been stacked one upon the other, three coffins deep, on Hart Island. Corpses are interred in great, anonymous trenches. There are no tombstones. Small white posts in the ground mark each 150 adult bodies. A thousand children and infants are buried together per grave. It is one of the largest cemeteries in the United States. And the least

A House committee on Wednesday accused former IRS official Lois Lerner of breaking agency rules by aggressively urging the agency to deny tax-exempt status to Crossroads GPS, the giant political nonprofit founded by Karl Rove, and several other conservative groups as recently as January 2013. The Republican-led panel released emails showing that Lerner took an interest in Crossroads GPS — inquiring with IRS officials why they hadn’t had their tax-exempt status revoked. The committee letter calls her actions “an aggressive and improper pursuit of Crossroads by Lerner, but no evidence she directed review of similarly situated left-leaning groups.”

On Wednesday, the House Ways and Means Committee voted to refer former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. By a vote of 23 to 14, a closed-door session of the House committee determined that Lerner’s role in the alleged singling out of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status for undue scrutiny was a criminal act. The vote was “just another attempt by Republicans to vilify Ms. Lerner for political gain,” according to the ex-IRS official’s attorney, William Taylor. In spite of the fact that the DOJ has already been investigating both Lerner and the alleged

While today´s vote tally -- which broke down along party lines, with not a single Republican senator voting in favor of the bill -- was not unexpected, it came after weeks of a heavy messaging push from Democrats. Had it passed, the bill would have made it illegal for employers to retaliate against a worker who inquires about or discloses her or his wages or the wages of another employee in a complaint or investigation. It also would make employers liable to civil actions Those changes, Democrats argued, would make it easier for women suing for wages equal to their

The West has made NATO’s military alliance the heart of its response to Russia’s power grab in Ukraine. But we may be fighting the wrong battle: The weapons Russian President Vladimir Putin has used in Crimea and eastern Ukraine look more like paramilitary “covert action” than conventional military force. Putin, the former KGB officer, may in fact be taking a page out of the United States’ playbook during the Ronald Reagan presidency, when the Soviet empire began to unravel thanks to a relentless U.S. covert-action campaign. Rather than confront Moscow head-on, Reagan nibbled at the edges, by supporting movements that destabilized

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it.
