IRS knowingly sends Billions
in Fraudulent Refunds
to Illegal Immigrants

Townhall, by Bob Beauprez

A WTHR-TV Indianapolis investigative report exposes a fraudulent scheme wherein the IRS is sending $4.2 billion per year to illegal immigrants as an "additional child tax credit" for children who don´t even live in the U.S. Further, the IRS and Congress have been ignoring the scheme for years. The Inspector General´s office has repeatedly identified the problem in audit after audit. The IG, Russell George says, "The magnitude of the problem has grown exponentially," but the IRS is doing nothing to stop it. "It´s so easy it´s ridiculous," the tax preparer whistleblower

Having spent some time at IRS working last year, I learned one of the biggest areas of fraud are returns from what our Democrat friends call (1) undocumented immigrants or (2) future Democrat voters.

These "guests" file returns to obtain the refunds of taxes withheld and then take advantage of nearly-unlimited child credits and earned income tax credits for numerous "relatives" conveniently living outside of the USA, where it is difficult to confirm their relationship, existance or even how many other returns "claim" those exemptions.

Easy way ... you must be living in USA with a valid SSN or identification to get those credits. But ain´t gonna happen in Dear Leader(US)´s America.

The bigger the government the stupider the mistakes! Case in point. Too many bureaucrats deciding what is best.

20/20 or NBC´s new show had a segment on the newest identity theft. Former crack dealers filing fraudulent returns using real names, SSNs, and birth dates to the tune of $5 billion a year. As you can imagine this creates huge problems for the real filers/citizens with little help from the IRS.

Some spokeswoman was soooooo sorry, but they´re working on it! Fire her As$ today and get someone who will work the problem and fix it!

It depends on how you look at this, are they illegal aliens who are receiving fraudulent IRS payouts, or are they future liberal Democrat voters to who some money is being redistributed so that they can live a better life?

That gives you the answer as to why the Democrats, and a lot of go along to get along Republicans who are really the Democrat´s assistants in Congress, turn a blind eye to bogus schemes like this.

Some few years ago I had the opportunity to prosecute a similar scam run out of the Colorado Laughing Academy (aka mental hospital). The perps were stealing about 25K a month and the Justice Department would not touch the case because "it isn´t enough money" and because all of the witnesses were crazy people.
The State of Colorado acted and the head thief later received a 15 year sentence at the Stony Lonesome (aka penitentiary).
Obama´s Justice Department is worthless and dangerous.

#7, you know what the IRS´s answer is to people who are victimized this way?

They should have filed earlier, because the first return with a Social Security number gets the payment.

So the sum total of help we get from our government is the admonition to file as soon as possible, before the crooks can.

Yes, it is disgusting. I would like to know how these people claim all these dependents without having social seurity numbers for them???? I had a hard time taking a legitimate claim. I had the SS # but there were still issues. I heard of somone who did not work all year and had no income, but was told to fill out the 1040 a certain way for certain years and to write two or 3 words on the form and they woukd get a refund. It happened. The person didn´t get paid though because they had back taxes. But it was applied to it. The IRS is a mess. Honest people get audited and go through hell while illegals do fraud and get a pass!! Maybe Wesley Snipes should complain for being singled out for being a citizen!!!

The only reason I know about it is because another neighbor opened his door to find guns pointed at him (wrong house). He was lucky he wasn´t shot.

In case you’ve ever wondered, when you take a psychiatrist to dinner (especially a forensic psychiatrist, like me), he doesn’t leave the office 100 percent. No well-trained psychiatrist can. The “third ear” we develop during training – the one that catches meaningful turns of phrase or attempts to be evasive – can’t be left at the office door entirely. When I had dinner with Lou and Linda Pelletier and three of their four daughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Julia, a few nights ago in Massachusetts, I wasn’t trying to evaluate them. It used to be that if you went to a college-level debate tournament, the students you’d see would be bookish future lawyers from elite universities, most of them white. In matching navy blazers, they’d recite academic arguments for and against various government policies. It was tame, predictable, and, frankly, boring. No more. These days, an increasingly diverse group of participants has transformed debate competitions, mounting challenges to traditional form and content by incorporating personal experience, performance, and radical politics. These “alternative-style” debaters have achieved success, too, taking top honors at national collegiate tournaments over the past few years. But this transformation has also

The debate over campaign contributions is never-ending for a simple reason: Both sides of the argument have merit. On the one hand, of course money is speech. For most citizens, contributing to politicians or causes is the most effective way to augment and amplify speech with which they agree. The most disdainful dismissers of this argument are editorialists and incumbent politicians who — surprise! — already enjoy access to vast audiences and don’t particularly like their monopoly being invaded by the unwashed masses or the self-made plutocrat. On the other hand, of course money is corrupting.

Last Friday, in a speech at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network conference, President Obama proudly announced that the Justice Department had taken on more than 100 voting rights cases since 2009. The problem with that claim is that, since 2009, the Justice Department has taken on only 39 voting rights cases—and as former Voting Section lawyer Christian Adams points out, only 13 were related to protecting minority voting rights. And, with respect to some of the cases in which the department has been involved, it lost spectacularly—such as its false claim that South Carolina’s voter ID law was discriminatory. Unexpected, though, was the decision by Israel, long America’s most reliable U.N. vote (and vice versa), to absent itself from the ballot. This shook up the Obama administration. National Security Adviser Susan Rice met with Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and demanded an explanation. Lieberman blandly blamed it on a strike at the foreign ministry. It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,

Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day."
