People (still) really

Washington Post, by Chris Cillizza & Sean Sullivan

Nearly six in ten Americans have a favorable impression of President Obama in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, numbers that suggest that even as the chief executive engages in a series of thorny policy fights his personal appeal remains strongly intact. Fifty-seven percent of people view Obama favorably in the new Post-ABC survey while 41 percent regard him unfavorably. Those numbers are remarkably similar to the 60 percent favorable/37 percent unfavorable ratings for Obama in Post-ABC polling conducted in late January — just weeks after the president had been inaugurated for

In almost 5 years I have not personally talked to anyone that likes him. But I have talked to a lot of people that, well shall we say, have really, really strong feelings about him, & what he is doing to this great nation. They also usually have strong feelings about the Congress & their lack of leadership.

Deep in the bowels of the media /democrat complex the trolls are thinking we better publish another poll to show that Dear Leader hasn´t lost his popularity and the sheeple who only care about the presidency every four years are comforted that "their guy" is still on top! Where as the rest of us are bracing for the catastrophic effects of this man´s policies the sheeple will be pleased to know that Mr. Obama has their back, until they find out the truth but by then it will be too late!

2. Many Republicans and Conservatives will not answer polls for fear of being put on lists and suffering retaliation. Democrats are corrupt, vindictive creatures and they should never be trusted.

The reality is that I think this poll is probably more accurate than it should be. They type of questions they ask and the vapid, shallow Idiocracy we live in just adds up to liking Obama.

I know there are some people who think he is great and will defend him to the end (like April...the leftie on FB) despite the facts. But I do NOT believe this many like him. Sorry, I see way too many people who feel the opposite. The only problem is a lot of people, who normally would agree he is destroying our country, are easily distracted by these issues like gay marriage which they honestly believe should go through for equality´s sake. So, they will support the Dems even though they know the Dem policies are hurting our economy. To them, it is more important to let gays marry than to save the economy. Their priorities are being manipulated by emotion and perception. The Dems know how to play them well.

Hats off to the intrepid corpsemen of American journalism, who´ve turned the worn-out concept of "objectively reporting the news" on its head and corrupted it beyond the dreams of any mafia, and yet remain untouched by indictment (for slander, libel, cover-ups of crimes and any number of breaches of basic business ethics). Last week, President Obama directed his Homeland Security Department to examine its current deportation practices -- "to see how it can conduct enforcement more humanely, within the confines of the law," the White House announced on March 13. But with immigration reform stalled in Congress, what more can Obama do? "I think he´s going to wait until August," said Telemundo anchor and immigration-reform advocate José Díaz-Balart. And if Congress doesn´t act on immigration reform by then, "I wouldn´t be surprised if he starts making some very controversial executive orders to mitigate the pain of millions of people who face deportation," Díaz-Balart told

Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said.
