Media refuse to interrogate
Obama on his chicanery

Jewish World Review, by Diana West

Original Article

Posted By:onashi, 3/22/2013 2:06:05 PM

I found myself in a group conversation that included one of the more instantly recognizable media figures -- someone who personifies the phrase "mainstream media." Since this isn´t something that happens every day, why not make the best of it? Why not ask this VIMP (Very Important Media Person) a question or two on the topics that I frequently criticize the press for not covering? The problem was how to do so without unduly alarming the poor thing. My favorite kinds of questions might be distressing to VIMPs who never ask them, or even seem to think of them.

Comments:
The fake birth certificate would be at the top of my list, too, if I ever ran into a VIMP. Obama´s word (the only "proof") that it´s genuine, versus detailed analyses by experts that its fake? No contest.
Headline resplit by staff.

The lapdog media has far too much invested in the worthless creep to ever even approach something resembling honesty in their reporting.

I honestly think that some or many top media people are secretly accumulating "info and documentation" for an book to be written when Zero leaves office - a book exposing the truth about the birth certificate, school records and other possibly damaging stuff that is being withheld from the public.

The book will not be published before Zero leaves office unless one of these MSM types experiences a financial decline and needs to make a few bucks ASAP.

The MSM are afraid of their friends in the MSM. No one wants to be the one to say the Emperor has no clothes on.

It takes courage to stand out from the crowd.

What has always puzzled me is how coincidental it is that all these media people apparently have no children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren for whom to preserve and protect America´s heritage and way of life.

It is almost certainly clear by now to the majority of the sycophantic media that the emperor has no clothes. Journalism majors are not the brightest bulbs in town but even they eventually catch the drift. The First Black President is an incompetent, untruthful, un-American radical Leftist with a clinical personality disorder. He has no idea whatever of what he is doing or even what he is supposed to do. That is one reason he takes so many vacations and plays so much golf. He has almost no understanding of American history, respect for American values, comprehension of world affairs, the basics of economics, geopolitics, international military affairs or anything of the sort. He is utterly without political ability as defined by the willingness and ability to work with others who do not totally share one´s personal political beliefs. Most of his personal history remains hidden from Americans, no doubt for good reasons. The novelty of the First Black President has worn off. Accusations of racism boomerang on their throwers. There is nothing Obama has touched that he has not managed to make worse. Any reasonably sensible grownup can see that he is in way over his head. This includes the press. They are, let us concede, stupid - but they are not THAT stupid. Barack Obama is a disaster as president. He was never qualified for the job and should never have been elected. The only reason he was elected is that he is black - and not even 100% black.

But what´s a poor reporter to do now? Ask some serious, real, incisive questions and demand a real answer? Everybody knows that would bring the house of cards down in a heartbeat.

I cannot remember exactly when Nelson Mandela entered my consciousness, but I remember the giddiness I felt when they were forced to turn him loose after 27 years of captivity. I remember, after his release, how the stories and the songs that before had passively comforted me exploded with a kinetic energy that shattered the skepticism I had about my place in the world. To me, he was David slaying Goliath with a sling and stone. He was Bob Marley´s "Duppy Conqueror." "… the bars could not hold me... force could not control me..." Today, however, I am afraid that we tend to view the lives of individuals like Mandela,

Our bankrupt politics is on strident display in the manufactured crisis engulfing Obamacare. In every newspaper and on every news channel, Republicans can be found salivating over the success of their sabotage campaign, while fair-weather Democrats, fearful of upcoming elections, are backsliding on their commitment to adequate and affordable health care. And what exactly is feeding the frenzy on both sides? We are being told that it is the botched rollout of a government website where individuals can shop and sign up for health insurance. We are being told also that it is President Obama´s broken promise, the one he

President Barack Obama is doubling down on his Obamacare lies. He is now trying to erase retroactively his point-blank assurance to the American people that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.” Drawing on his golfing experience, he is insisting on a mulligan as millions of Americans are losing the health insurance policies they have chosen because of Obamacare mandates. “What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” he told Obamacare’s political beneficiaries and contractors this past Monday during a speech they

Big Brother is not only watching you. He is eavesdropping on you, stealing your metadata, snooping in your email and telling you what to eat and which illnesses you can treat if you’re lucky enough to see a doctor once Obamacare is implemented. In Obama’s 1984, Mark Tapson shows that if he were here today George Orwell would see a disturbing resemblance between the U.S. and the dystopian future he wrote about so prophetically a generation ago. Obama’s 1984 takes the reader into the dark heart of this administration, a place of omnipresent NSA surveillance, police state tactics by the

I grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, and my elementary and high-school education was infused with the history that was all around us, so I was very curious to know just how the shutdown of the nation´s parks had affected my most favorite part of Minute Man National Park -- the Old North Bridge. Last night (October 9), my wife brought home a pamphlet from our local CVS pharmacy, titled "Affordable Care Act Answers." I didn´t expect to find anything in this simple booklet that I didn´t already know, but it did refer me to their website on the topic, CVS.com/insurance, which my wife asked me to check out. On the website is this Q&A entry: Do I need to have insurance? Yes. The ACA requires all Americans have health care coverage "that meets basic minimum standards." I said to my wife, "That´s flat-out false," and I sent a brief, indignant note to CVS

This moment in time would seem tailor-made for the appearance of such a person. The civil war in Syria, in which that country´s brutal leader, Bashar al-Assad, is beset by opponents who are just as brutal, cries out for someone to show us with clarity, charity and certainty what should be done for the good of country and the world.

The economy is still puttering along, which is to say it is still not strong enough to help a lot of average Americans. (Snip) The bottom line approach is not easily embraced by many Americans. There are those of us who continue to labor under the belief that work is a means of self-expression and that a job should contribute to the wholesome growth and sustainability of family and community. I believe the majority of Americans still hold to this view, but what would happen if our society as a whole resorted to the corporate model of life, that is, pursuing it through the bottom line?

I don´t normally display lawn signs or bumper stickers during political campaigns; I usually keep my voting preferences to myself. (That´s the point of secret ballots, right?) But the November 2012 elections got me charged up to the point where I felt the urge to do something public, and since my friends already knew how I felt, I didn´t think I would be divulging any secrets by doing so.

Jimmy Carter has been very active in the decades since his presidency, and his successors have occasionally called for his advice. Except, it turns out, the current occupant of the office. A clip from Carter’s upcoming Meet the Press interview reveals that President Obama is the first president since Carter left office not to solicit the Southern Democrat’s advice. Is Barack Obama simply too busy to be Chief Executive of the United States? Apparently. One of the primary functions of the president is to keep the nation safe, to preserve it from its enemies. To do that effectively, one would actually have to maintain something of a consistent level of attention to the moving pieces that directly influence how future events will unfold. None other than the truly sycophantic thinks for a second that President Obama cares a whit for anything that does not involve fundamentally altering the social composition of this country. Or golf. Black students are more likely to be suspended from U.S. public schools — even as tiny preschoolers. The racial disparities in American education, from access to high-level classes and experienced teachers to discipline, were highlighted in a report released Friday by the Education Department´s civil rights arm. The suspensions — and disparities — begin at the earliest grades. Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said. Six percent of the nation´s districts with preschools reported suspending at
