Media refuse to interrogate
Obama on his chicanery

Jewish World Review, by Diana West

Original Article

Posted By:onashi, 3/22/2013 2:06:05 PM

I found myself in a group conversation that included one of the more instantly recognizable media figures -- someone who personifies the phrase "mainstream media." Since this isn´t something that happens every day, why not make the best of it? Why not ask this VIMP (Very Important Media Person) a question or two on the topics that I frequently criticize the press for not covering? The problem was how to do so without unduly alarming the poor thing. My favorite kinds of questions might be distressing to VIMPs who never ask them, or even seem to think of them.

Comments:
The fake birth certificate would be at the top of my list, too, if I ever ran into a VIMP. Obama´s word (the only "proof") that it´s genuine, versus detailed analyses by experts that its fake? No contest.
Headline resplit by staff.

The lapdog media has far too much invested in the worthless creep to ever even approach something resembling honesty in their reporting.

I honestly think that some or many top media people are secretly accumulating "info and documentation" for an book to be written when Zero leaves office - a book exposing the truth about the birth certificate, school records and other possibly damaging stuff that is being withheld from the public.

The book will not be published before Zero leaves office unless one of these MSM types experiences a financial decline and needs to make a few bucks ASAP.

The MSM are afraid of their friends in the MSM. No one wants to be the one to say the Emperor has no clothes on.

It takes courage to stand out from the crowd.

What has always puzzled me is how coincidental it is that all these media people apparently have no children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren for whom to preserve and protect America´s heritage and way of life.

It is almost certainly clear by now to the majority of the sycophantic media that the emperor has no clothes. Journalism majors are not the brightest bulbs in town but even they eventually catch the drift. The First Black President is an incompetent, untruthful, un-American radical Leftist with a clinical personality disorder. He has no idea whatever of what he is doing or even what he is supposed to do. That is one reason he takes so many vacations and plays so much golf. He has almost no understanding of American history, respect for American values, comprehension of world affairs, the basics of economics, geopolitics, international military affairs or anything of the sort. He is utterly without political ability as defined by the willingness and ability to work with others who do not totally share one´s personal political beliefs. Most of his personal history remains hidden from Americans, no doubt for good reasons. The novelty of the First Black President has worn off. Accusations of racism boomerang on their throwers. There is nothing Obama has touched that he has not managed to make worse. Any reasonably sensible grownup can see that he is in way over his head. This includes the press. They are, let us concede, stupid - but they are not THAT stupid. Barack Obama is a disaster as president. He was never qualified for the job and should never have been elected. The only reason he was elected is that he is black - and not even 100% black.

But what´s a poor reporter to do now? Ask some serious, real, incisive questions and demand a real answer? Everybody knows that would bring the house of cards down in a heartbeat.

Chuck Hagel for Defense Secretary

Many in the American Jewish community are aghast to discover that President Obama is planning to appoint former Senator Chuck Hagel to serve as Defense Secretary. If you want the skinny on how Hagel has come to be known as one of the few ferociously anti-Israel senators in the past generation, Carl from Jerusalem at Israel Matzav provides it. Meantime, all I can say is I don’t understand how anyone can possibly be surprised. (snip) Obama isn’t stupid. He picks fights he thinks he can win.

It is hard to gain perspective in the heat of an election battle, particularly when the power of persuasion is driven not by the clarity of an ideological vision, but by the billions in political advertising dollars. Perhaps that is why throughout this bitter and torturous presidential campaign, which began the moment President Barack Obama was elected in 2008, the battle has primarily been fought on economic grounds — one side arguing that the economy which tanked in 2008 was getting better, the other saying it was not, and both sides saying the government needs to reduce spending.

The incredible destruction left behind by Hurricane Sandy provides a gut check to those who want to privatize most, if not all, federal services. Even Republican presidential candidate Mitt “the myth” Romney released a statement, which seems to support the robust presence the Federal Emergency Management Agency is taking in ongoing recovery efforts in the impacted cities and towns along the Eastern seaboard. “I believe that FEMA plays a key role in working with states and localities to prepare for and respond to natural disasters,” the statement read.

The Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education, founded with the goal of giving every child the education necessary to succeed in the changing marketplace, was the powerbroker behind the Massachusetts Education Reform Act of 1993. The organization spearheaded an unprecedented groundswell of collaboration between Massachusetts educators and policymakers. Former Gov. Bill Weld eventually signed off on the legislation, once a charter school provision was added.

Only three weeks away from the U.S. presidential elections facing off a tie between the two parties, unverified photographs of President Obama’s wedding band have been published online, claiming the ring to have the Islamic declaration of faith, known in Arabic as ‘Shahada.’ World Net Daily (WND), a conservative online news agency, initially reported on Wednesday that Obama’s wedding band has the inscription of the first part of the Islamic Shahada: “There is no other god but Allah.”

Imagine, pre-9/11/12, that you were responsible for arranging the defense of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Would you have considered American interests and personnel best protected by bringing in a local security outfit called the February 17 Martyrs Brigade? The question has yet to come up in House hearings, but I think it holds the key to the Obama administration's betrayal of the American people in "Benghazi-gate."

Thursday the Wall Street Journal’s Daniel Henninger published a column called “Obama and the L-word.” In it he described with disgust and dismay the way the Obama administration has been playing fast and loose with the term “liar” to describe Mitt Romney since Romney trounced Obama in last week’s presidential debate. Henninger noted that the use of the term cheapens and coarsens the political discourse in the US in a manner that is unprecedented in US politics. He also noted rightly that this is not part of the American political tradition.

The best response to all that's strange, mysterious or just surprising may be a smile. But the news of late has reduced me to the one-word question and expletive favored by "Mad Men's" Don Draper whenever he's confronted by anything that doesn't make sense: What?! Take the sheer number of fabrications Barack Obama managed to pack into one response to a simple question on CBS' "60 Minutes." To swallow them all would require a boxcar of salt.

The Obama campaign released news on Saturday morning of a holiday weekend, that it had raised a massive $181 million in September. It's a staggering sum heading into the final month of campaigning. It almost equals his fundraising for July and August combined. But details about Obama's fundraising windfall and a new report this morning from the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) raise troubling questions. Specifically, how much of this fundraising was illegal? GAI found that Obama's donation page doesn't use any industry-standard credit card security measures.

There are some storylines that jeer constantly at one of the most enduring characteristics of a caring community — the belief that we can help people change their lives. In Worcester, one of those storylines has been the city’s fight against prostitution. Recently, we were told the City Council asked City Manager Mike O’Brien to file legislation that would allow the seizure of vehicles involved in prostitution. This, of course, is not a novel idea.

One has to feel sympathy for poor Scott Brown. He has been an outstanding public servant, accomplished lawmaker and all-around decent human being. He has earned re-election to the U.S. Senate many times over, yet has to scramble to retain his seat in a close election. He has earned a reputation for using independent judgment in a political arena dominated by cutthroat party politics, and in return should be able to enjoy respect from both sides of the aisle.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

The White House on Wednesday stood by its story that the Obama administration remained unsure exactly who was responsible for the attack on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi nearly five days after it occurred even though new revelations show Ansar al-Sharia’s direct involvement. Gregory Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya and a self-described whistleblower, testified before a Congressional committee Wednesday that the body of Ambassador J. Christpher Stevens was missing for hours during the attack after being dragged out of the diplomatic post in Benghazi.

Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Turnout was heavier than expected, with about 32 percent of the district’s 455,702 registered voters casting ballots. Sanford, who has never lost an election, returns to the 1st District seat he held for three terms from 1995-2001. There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. The University of Cambridge released a statement Wednesday indicating that Hawking had told the Israelis last week that he would not be attending "based on advice from Palestinian academics that he should respect the boycott." University officials said they had "previously understood" that Hawking´s decision was based solely on health concerns — he is 71 and has severe disabilities — but had now been told otherwise by Hawking´s office.
