Zbigniew´s Advice To Obama:
Tell Netanyahu No War To
Stop Iran Getting Nukes

NewsBusters, by Mark Finkelstein

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/22/2013 12:29:21 PM

Zurprise, zurprise: Zbig wouldn´t go to war to stop Iran getting nukes. On Morning Joe today, Jimmy Carter´s former national security adviser had some advice for President Obama: tell Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that America will not go to war against Iran. Attacking Iran´s nuclear facilities would surely be an act of war. Yet doing so might well be the only way to prevent the ayatollahs from getting the A-bomb. Unfortunately, neither Joe Scarborough nor anyone else on the panel including daughter Mika asked Brzezinski

Comments:
It is certainly obvious that the disgusting, obnoxious Mika inherited those qualities from her father.

The man was a moron 35 years ago. That say with age comes experience, and that when logic is applied to experience the results is wisdom. The synthesis of wisdom is one of the potential benefits of aging, but it is acquired by effort and not by default.

Unfortunately age often arrives sadly alone.

In the old movies, there was an outrage. The towns people, seeing the outrage, murmur. Then the Lone Ranger would ride in, beat the outlaw unconscious, save the honor of the maiden, and kiss his horse. The End. In the citified gray variation, Jimmy Cagney would make a wrong turn, become a bad man, then be redeemed through love, fix the outrage, and go to the electric chair without complaint. Today´s virtual movie has its own daily outrage. The outrage is powerful, heavy, and designed to wear down the townspeople. It comes from everywhere. Again, the towns people murmur -- mostly on site like these. Just when you can hardly stand the suspense, in the part where the Lone Ranger is supposed to save the day, you get a drunk republican or Pee Wee Herman "fixer" who lies that there is no outrage, not an immediate one; or in comes an Anti-Hero, whose diversion from the outrage is to make you wonder if he is not Evil Incarnate; or in comes a blank faced Gay Pretender or butch Cattle Queen who solves the outrage with a world encompassing U.N. Treaty needing your signature on it, or not. These people hypnotize or flummox because they just can´t help but show you the world so utterly revolves around them. So into todays outrage a character appears, makes a small outrageous speech from his limo, and leaves town. Before he leaves, this character offers the worn down townspeople a bonus. A bit of stage business. This kind of stock virtual movie character will leave behind his pretend beloved, fashionably homely, stunningly rich, internationalist minded kid, who is filled with the same awful wisdom, and who is set up in a privileged position where he/she/ it will never, ever go away.

“The greatest danger zone a president can be in is when he is being attacked on the left and the right. When they are reading off the same talking points, that’s when presidencies fall apart.” -- Dan Pfeiffer, senior adviser to President Obama, in an interview with the Washington Post. In the little that President Obama has said publicly about his administration’s recently exposed domestic surveillance programs he has returned to the overall motif of his presidency: warning against excessive distrust of the federal government. While hawks wait anxiously to see if Obama can

Glenn Greenwald is the Guardian journalist who broke the story of the NSA snooping. Greenwald came to prominence during the Bush years by denouncing that administration’s anti-terrorism policies. To his credit, Greenwald is one of the few on the left who has remained consistent and now criticizes Obama policies with almost as much zeal as he criticized Bush. Not to his credit, Greenwald developed a habit of using fake commenters to defend his written positions when others criticized him, and then denied that he engaged in any sockpuppetry. Greewald blamed the sockpuppetry on his boyfriend.

The final OIG report that Congress got lacked any references to the specific cases of criminal and other misconduct apparently detailed in an October 2012 OIG memorandum, Royce noted. After the report was issued in February, Foreign Affairs Committee staff met with and asked OIG staff for specific examples of misconduct and senior-level interference. OIG staff refused to share

A July meeting of the House GOP conference on immigration reform was not scheduled in response to pressure from conservatives, several Republican leadership offices said Friday. Behind Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Steve King (R-Iowa) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), conservative Republicans have been circulating a petition this week calling on House GOP leaders to stage a special conference meeting on comprehensive reform, according to several news outlets. The idea is to prolong the debate in hopes of killing the bill. Republican leaders have scheduled such a meeting on July 10.

A reportedly stolen 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop? $75,537. The price listed on the Apple website is $1,199. A lost iPhone? $30,503. A lost Blackberry? $54,250.
