Mom Claims 5th-Grade Son’s Quiz
Blames 9/11 Attacks On United States

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Texas mother claims a quiz her son took blamed the United States for the September 11, 2001 attacks. Kara Sands posted on her Facebook page earlier this month a quiz her fifth-grade son at Flour Bluff Intermediate School took after watching a video entitled “Remembering September 11th.” One of the questions on the quiz asked “Why might the United States be a target for terrorism?” with the correct answer being “Decisions we made in the United States have had negative effects on people elsewhere.”

No surprise here. The Government-Educationcrat Complex has been riddled with communists, subversives, pinko´s and degenerates for the past 40 years (at all levels). Kruschev said we would be defeated from within. The proof of that is on this school test. Drip, drip, drip.

Friends, please I´m begging you, get your kids and grandkids out of public schools. If this is happening in Texas, it´s happening in your kids´ school. Homeschool them, put them in private school, it is worth the sacrifice.

The solution is to eliminate the Federal Dept. of Education, and let states and locals manage their own schools.
Take BACK your schools, get rid of teachers´ unions.

Appalling brain washing effort on the school´s part. More appalling that only one parent has taken issue with the school.

We may be doomed. There are not enough private schools to absorb a significant amount of public school children. Nor, without vouchers, can many parents afford to send their children to a private school. In Texas, school taxes often exceed all city and county taxes put together. Home schooling is the answer for only very few. Too many families need both parents working, and how many mothers have the education themselves to homeschool?

#3 is right. Friends of mine in the TX Panhandle warned us for years that the left is already deeply embedded in the TEXAS education system statewide - from kindergarten through the university. Is it not a red flag to parents that so many former public school teachers HOMESCHOOL their children? Your children are your most precious gift. Do not fool yourself that the left is not running your local school system.

#10, it´s easier to homeschool than you think, even if you are weak in a particular subject. I homeschooled my two older kids up to the sixth grade using the Calvert School program, then they went to a Christian school. I am now preparing to homeschool my youngest in two years, when he hits middle school. I am terrible in math, but there are math teachers available online and so much more supplemental material, like math plans available free through the Khan Academy than there were even a few years ago, that I know my son will get a well-rounded education. I would encourage any parent who is interested to explore what´s out there. My oldest is a sophomore in college now, her brother was accepted into a charter science school for high school, and they say they wouldn´t trade those years of being homeschooled for anything.

Of course it does. What gave you the idea your son was being ´educated´ when in fact they are all being indoctrinated to hate America!

FTA: "Flour Bluff school officials tell KRIS-TV that Sands was the only parent to complain about the test.". Several years ago in my town I objected to my kid being exposed at a very innappropriate age to graphic descriptions of homosexual sex acts in a "health" class. I complained that they should have notified parents so we could opt out. I was told I was the only one who had a complained and they strongly implied I was the one with a problem. I talked to some other parents and it turned out many had complained and EVERY SINGLE PARENT WAS TOLD THEY WERE ONLY PERSON TO COMPLAIN! A bunch of us got together and we made an issue of it up at the next school committee meeting. The principal later admitted that she had told the teacher to tell that to every parent, in other word to lie to the parents. But no apology was ever issued, the principal and the teacher remained employed and simply promised to to better to "avoid similar misunderstandings in the future". Even so we must fight back folks. If something outrageus happens and you complain expect to be told it is only you with a problem. It´s most likely a lie. Find others and prove the lies. If we expose them often enough maybe even things will change. We have to try.

Seven U.S. Marines were killed and at least seven wounded when a mortar exploded during a live-fire training exercise overnight at an Army munitions depot in the Nevada desert, military officials told NBC News. There were conflicting reports about what happened. According to one account, a 60-millimeter mortar shell exploded in a tube as Marines were preparing to fire it. Another account said that the shell exploded as Marines were picking it up to load it. The accident happened at Hawthorne Army Depot, a 147,000-acre ammunition storage and training facility just east of the California line.

The draft application for health insurance under Obamacare is out, and it´s long — 21 pages, to be exact. That´s close to ten times longer than an individual tax return, and significantly longer than an application for citizenship or a federal housing loan. It´s even longer than an application to establish a bank. The sheer complexity of the application is likely to spawn a cottage industry of Obamacare preparers, the Washington Post speculates. Which means a potential new addition to healthcare expenses: the cost of paying someone to help you apply.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Demoralized Republicans arrived in Boston Wednesday night for a rare moment in American politics: They came to learn from Democrats. Barack Obama´s campaign schooled Mitt Romney’s in November, something of which the Republicans who gathered at the quadrennial, off-the-record Harvard Institute of Politics Campaign Managers Conference were intensely aware. And while the proceedings of the event are under embargo until the institute releases audio transcripts of the proceedings, some participants shared their reactions.

This haunting collection of images shows what it would look like if the ghosts of World War II returned to our streets. The remarkable pictures overlay modern scenes from France with atmospheric photographs taken in the same place during the war. Historical expert Jo Teeuwisse, from Amsterdam, began the project after finding 300 old negatives at a flea market in her home city depicting familiar places in a very different context. She researched the background to each of the most interesting finds and created a beautiful series of pictures by super-imposing the old pictures on top of new ones.

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth.
