Article doesn´t mention the size of Colt´s workforce. Of course, the employment impact goes beyond that when you add up the substantial job loss in support industries when manufacturing plants pull out.

Good for Colt. Many prominent businesses along with many citizens, if possible, will be abandoning blue states and moving to the more business friendly and patriotic traditional red states. Very quickly it is going to suck even more to live in a blue state.

That postage-stamp sized state is known as a corporation´s dream....easy incorporation, favorable laws to protect corporate officers from personal liability, and a population as ... ahem...about as diverse as that of Connecticut. I just wanted to point out that Lanza did not use the AR15 in the shooting, he used 2 handguns. And good for Colt. They also ought to end selling to Ct law enforcment agencies.

You can´t have it both ways. CO tried that with a high capacity magazine manufacturer - "you can make it here, but you can´t sell it here..." Now that CO has banned high capacity magazines, guess who is moving their operations (and up to 700 jobs) out of Colorado?

Texas has tons of land, tons of resources, inexpensive cost of living, and a very pro-business governing philosophy.

Beretta USA, has threatened to do the same if Maryland enacts new anti-freedom (gun) laws. Remington is said to also be seriously courting states for a possible relocation from New York.
Now, what Beretta, Colt, Remington and the other "Big" firearms makers need to do is to sign on to the "We won´t sell to governments who will not allow their citizens to buy, possess or sell the products we sell to them" bandwagon and follow through).

The team found that being left alone to breed on its own was key. The discovery raises hope that other damaged reefs could ´regenerate´. The new research shows that an isolated reef off the northwest coast of Australia that was severely damaged by a period of warming in 1998. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise.
