| President Barack Obama referred to his own daughters and America´s previous racial divide as he made an impassioned plea this morning for Palestinians to return to the negotiating table. ´Whenever I meet these young people, whether they´re Israeli or Palestinian, I think of my young daughters,´ he said during a joint press conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. ´Those of us in the United States understand that change takes time, but change is possible. There was a time when my daughters did not have the same opportunities as somebody else´s daughters.´ The mention of his own family came as

So obviously now they do have the same opportunities. Therefore, it is time to end affirmative action, quotas, and other racial set-asides, and start making all people accountable for the course of their lives.

Prime example of how Obama sees the country through black colored glasses. His daughters went to a plush townhouse when newborn, then to a multimillion dollar mansion and then to the White House. He should give us the specifics on WHAT opportunities his pampered princesses EVER were denied. Obama is a race baiter and a sick person who sees racism that is not there because it works for the dumb masses. The Obama family...definition of ingrates.

One of his murky speechwriter-crafted anecdotes about his "daughters" to a Muslim? They do not value women. Was Abbas thinking "big deal"?

If their point is that both African Americans and the "Palestinian People" have been exploited, degraded and used as pawns by evil anti-christian movements (ie the American left and Islam) they are absolutely correct.
It´s probably lost on King B. Hussein though, that he is a member of one of those movements and kissing the ass of the other.

Uh, his own childhood was in stark contrast to say someone like, Dr. Ben Carson. I doubt his kids are worse off than he was...sans maybe being subjected to single motherhood from his white, flighty mother.
In fact, if you take his own absent single mother out of the equation, I´d say his kids probably have things measures better.
He´s a bit of a prostitute with this whole "I´m an oppressed black thing" - especially since he wouldn´t really know what life was like growing up in the same environment as say a Dr. Carson or say JC Watts.
People like this are usually refered to as "Posers" in the real world. Let´s be honest here, he was raised by white folk in Hawaii - which is great - but certainly not a state that suffered racial injustices like let´s say, Alabama (think MLK).
Seems like he has a bit of a narcissistic romance with this fantasy oppression schtick.

Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates forcefully defended the Obama administration on Sunday against charges that it did not do enough to prevent the tragedy in Benghazi, telling CBS´ "Face the Nation" that some critics of the administration have a "cartoonish impression of military capabilities and military forces." Gates, a Republican who was appointed by then-President George W. Bush in 2006 and agreed to stay through more than two years of President Obama´s first term, repeatedly declined to criticize the policymakers who devised a response to the September 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya,

"We have had people come forward because of the [Oversight] testimony and say we would also like to talk," he said. "I do think we´re going to see more whistleblowers. SPENCERTOWN, N.Y. – At last, it is written. Four years after he began his project to write out every word of the Bible, Phillip Patterson penned the very last lines Saturday at an upstate New York church. "Every single curly-q, every single loop, it was all worth it," said Patterson, 63, moments after inking the final two verses of the King James Bible. "I´m really going to miss this writing." It took Patterson just a few minutes to copy the final lines of the Book of Revelation before a crowd of about 125 people at St. Peter´s Presbyterian Church

Elizabeth Taylor reportedly said, “You find out who your real friends are when you´re involved in a scandal.” Of course, she was in Hollywood, perhaps the only place where loyalty means less than it does in Washington, D.C. But some people in the Obama administration are about to find out what she meant. The Congressional hearing this week on the Benghazi cover-up was important not only for the information we heard from the witnesses, but also because, for the first time, it piqued the interest of the mainstream media. Perhaps it’s genuine concern over having been lied to,

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama on Saturday praised the nation’s police officers for everyday acts of courage, saying they often rush into danger to do ‘‘some really tough stuff.’’ In a White House ceremony honoring some of the bravest, he said America need look no further than the Boston Marathon bombings to know what police are made of: ‘‘Police officers ... running towards explosions not knowing if there was something more on the way. Law enforcement from different agencies in different parts of the country working together as one united team to identify suspects and bring them to justice.’’

The most notable takeaway from Jay Carney’s incomprehensible Friday appearance had little to do with his Klingon grammar. Carney does not represent the historical value of the event – you should be wise to forget his performance, and instead take note that he was flanked by the entire room, without exception. Do not underestimate the significance: the Obama administration has not faced such an onslaught of truth-seeking since he took office in 2008, and further, no Democratic administration has been charged from all sides like this in recent memory. That press conference was unthinkable just days ago

Harkening back to a Mitt Romney press conference on September 12, 2012, which addressed the Benghazi attacks only in passing while focusing instead on the assault on the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt, Carney suggested that Romney had tried to target the innocent Obama administration for telling the truth about Benghazi. “Republicans, again, in this ongoing effort that began in the hours after the attack when Mitt Romney put out a press release to try to take political

Martha MacCallum discussed the next steps in the investigation of what happened in Benghazi with Hicks´ attorney, Victoria Toensing. At this point, she thinks "it´s about time" that House Republicans start issuing subpoenas,

Shortly before last November’s election I took part in a Fox News documentary on Benghazi, whose other participants included the former governor of New Hampshire John Sununu. Making chit-chat while the camera crew were setting up, Governor Sununu said to me that in his view Benghazi mattered because it was “a question of character.” That’s correct. On a question of foreign policy or counterterrorism strategy, men of good faith can make the wrong decisions. But a failure of character corrodes the integrity of the state. That’s why career diplomat Gregory Hicks’s testimony

BBC has apologized for its coverage of the Benghazi murders; ABC has unraveled the mendacious tale of the talking points ´ genesis and the Congressional hearings this week have dramatically established the administration´s elaborate lies about how our ambassador and his brave defenders were murdered and its failure to protect them. Maybe now the press will feel it´s okay to get off their duffs and report how a thoroughly incompetent administration, motivated solely by self-interest, left our ambassador and others to be murdered and then lied about it with consequences to us all.

Congressional Republicans are using their Benghazi investigation as political "subterfuge" to distract from other issues, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Saturday. Pelosi said it´s important to find out what happened in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. But the right is taking it too far, she said in an interview with MSNBC´s Melissa Harris-Perry. "The obsession that some of my Republican colleagues have in the House doesn´t look like it´s on the path to really finding a solution, but just to keeping an issue alive," she said.

Esteemed Republican strategist and lobbyist Roger Stone writes in his upcoming book that former president Lyndon B. Johnson set up John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Stone also writes that Richard Nixon and Johnson had a documented relationship with Jack Ruby, Lee Harvey Oswald’s killer, years before he shot Oswald in the basement of Dallas police headquarters in 1963.
