Sorry...I have seen the show..and it shows me there are bad white guys, bad black guys, bad Asian guys, bad Latino guys...and of course..there are bad ladies.

Bad men and women come in all skin colors and ethnic backgrounds. Van Jones and his people should take a look at FBI crime statistics on who commits crimes. They would enlighten him and his group.

Anyone here watch "The First 48" on A & E? If that doesn´t depress you about the future of black youth, nothing will.

Nothing would "dehumanize Blacks" more than having a reality show starring Van Jones.

I do an inward groan every time they film in Indiana. Where they find so many toothless-no short wearing-hillbilly talking white people in this state, I have no idea. They don´t represent my state and I sure don´t think blacks on Cops represent the entire race. Ethnicity, whichever.

One can only hope that on some future episode of Cops, Van Jones is pulled over for a felony, resists arrest, and is tasered culminating with the fandago being played wth police batons on that racist hate-filled shaved noggin´ of his. Now that is an epiode of Cops I would record for posterty.

I object to COPS because it shows some of the real abuse that law officers have to put up with. Most of us would shoot then ask questions.

Guess Van Jones has a bone to pick with "Cops". It was during his "unfortunate" incarceration that he had a come to Marxism moment, and realized that he wanted to be a commuist when he grew up. Looks like he made his wish come true. The big check he receives from Soros for continuing this life-style is what causes his perpetual grin.

People like Van Jones, Nutter, and other black "leaders" want blacks to be seen as a group, and a group that is victimized. They do not want blacks to be seen as individuals with positive and negative characteristics depending on the individual. Thus, anything that is negative cannot be tolerated. I rode around a lot with city police officers and listened to the police scanner 12 hours a day to report on various stories and get to know police officers. Here´s one conclusion I reached about crime demographics.

1. 90% of the calls come from 10% of the addresses.

2. The police have little or no time to "self-initiate" calls; there are so many calls to 911 that they stay busy just about the entire shift.

3. Conclusion: neighbors are reporting criminals; cops don´t have time to stop people carrying TVs; blacks are reporting blacks.

Haven´t seen it in several years, but Animal Planet used to have program Animal Cops, filmed in cities like NY, Detroit, Miami. I noticed by and large, those shows were particularly damming of black behavior too.

"distorted images"? "police misconduct"? I haven´t seen COPS in years, but from what I remember, it was just cops arresting criminals. White, black, whatever. just criminals. BTW, anyone else notice Van Jones capitalized the word "Black"? As if it is a proper noun/adjective now? Is there such a thing as a proper adjective?

Unfortunately for a lot of innocent black people, most non-black people consider that a majority of black folks have dehumanized themselves by way of their degenerate, destructive, and violent culture long ago. Nobody can do anything about that but black folks themselves. Obviously black folks are not ready to break out of that culture and instead claim discrimination when the worst aspects of their culture are brought to the attention of the greater US and world populations.

It has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with going shirtless. /s
