IMHO, the series is short on mankind´s total sinfulness, and God´s gracious forgiveness in Jesus Christ, alone.

My prayer is that the series will motivate viewers to read the Bible and learn that we all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, and that forgiveness and salvation is from God, a free gift that cannot be earned.

What did you want them to say, yeah he´s a baby murdered and we cast a guy that looked like obummer to play Satan on purpose?

Christians believe that abortion is murder, a usurpation of God´s power over life and death. Obama, proponent of letting aborted but living fetuses die, does not and never has behaved like Christians should. Few have, but Obama less so.

But here´s the thing. The actress (Roma)reveals her own ignorance about Christianity when she says:

...‘My kids go to school about a 40-minute drive away. I’m open to the group’s opinion about what we listen to on the way there. On the way back, I get my own selections—books on tape by Eckhart Tolle, Tony Robbins..My husband says I’m so self-realized I’m practically levitating’.”

Christians don´t "self-actualize." In fact, it is the reverse -- God alone gives every Christian the power he or she needs to do His work, not their own work. The "Self" in the Christian life is utterly subjugated to God -- that is what makes them different from non-Christians, among other things.

Self-actualization is a concept right out of Abraham Maslow´s new age philosophy, not a theology that has anything to do with Christianity.

Roma, like many performers needs to stick to what she knows best.

One can be a follower of Christ simply be believing that He lived, died, and rose again and by grace forgave those who repented and believed in Him.

But the Scriptures also say that "ye are known by your fruit"....not judge another´s salvation, but the there isn´t much good fruit here.

We seem to live in a society where is is like play time and we only choose the things we want to agree to-- partial birth abortion is flat out murder!

The Bible tells me God abhors lies and calls Satan the Father of Lies. Lying does not come easily to the Christian. I would never judge whether someone is a Believer but God knows; but if Mr Obama is a Christian, he is sorely in need of repentance!

There is nothing in Obama´s words or actions that would indicate that he´s a Christian. Anyone who could, for instance, support a bill leading to the murder of babies who had survived botched abortions is the opposite of a Christian. One can call oneself anything.

I´m sorry that Ms. Downey is so susceptible to the pseudospiritual. Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual charlatan, a New Age quack, and a recycler and regurgitator of universal clichés and bons mots, which he combines with fuzzy rhetoric that on closer inspection disappears into incomprehensibility. Although he feels a lot, thinking isn´t his strong suit. Naturally, the stuff he writes sells like crazy. Tolle, who repeats a lot of the satanic nonsense that can be found in A Course in Miracles, only less effectively, fooled Oprah Winfery (and her ilk), but frankly, Oprah is a sucker--the most egregious I have ever seen--for almost anything that´s spiritually specious.

A New Age friend gave me Tolle´s book The Power of Now which, if I recall correctly, contained a passage that said, in essence, that anyone in a creative profession would be more productive if he or she were a homosexual. I returned the book. The fire walking, horse-toothed Tony Robbins is a good motivational speaker, but he, too, must be approached with caution. He shares most of Oprah´s quasi-cosmopolitan New Age tendencies.

There are many Catholic and protestant churches that allow unbiblical New Age teaching to the flock. If you´re in one of those churches, get out.

I also hope that the series will point others to the Truth. God can use the series for His purposes. He is The Great I AM.
