| A reporter from Colorado asked White House spokesman Jay Carney how President Obama justifies "lavish vacations" and golf trips, and whether he plans to cut back:(snip for video)Bringing up high unemployment in minority communities and government furloughs, the reporter started, as well as "millions of Americans unemployed, and family budgets that have been cut. How does the president justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayer expense? And does he plan to cut back on his travels?" Carney responded, "I can tell you that this president is focused every day on policies that create economic growth

Of course Obama isn´t going to cancel his lavish vacations and golf trips because these endear him to the lofos.Sticking it to "the man" is what leftists live for.
It´s just starting to perk up a bit but it looks like Obama goons are beginning to undermine Hillary´s WH run so it´ll clear the path for MO. There´s no way Obama can finish the job of destroying this country in 4 more years because the American people are too resilient.Capitalism is too ingrained as the primary means of survival in this country.
If Obama really wanted the help the economy,he would cancel Obamacare,Frank/Dodd and tell Bernake to stop the money giveaways to Wall St. crooks.

You are right...he focuses everyday on policies for economic growth is true....but what you left out was he focuses on HIS economic growth and to heck with the United States......you are a deceiver Jay and should be tried for perjury.....TRAITOR!

I actually feel sorry for Carney. He is not stupid and you can see from the look on his face that he really doesn´t believe all the BS is told to throw at the press. If I had to get up in front of the American people every day and knowingly lie to them, I don´t think I could live with myself.

Unfortunate that the S. S. had to work all day Sunday for the private parties, but cannot be available for tours for the "little people".

Neither 0bamo nor Michelle will cut back their expensive, lavish, and luxurious vacations where they can take all their family and friends at the taxpayers´ expense. They both really like the perks. I was sickened to hear Michelle talk about 0bama wanting to be with his family rather than meeting with the congressmen, and that is why is not accessible to meet with them; you see, he loves his family. Remember last Father´s Day; 0bama and Michelle were not together, he flew to play golf with his friends in one plane, and she flew in yet another plane with her daughters to the ski slopes. These two will spend the money, and lots of it, enjoying themselves and having a good time. Remember, it costs $180,000 an HOUR to fly these planes; nah, they don´t care how much it costs.

Carney could talk for several hours non-stop and never say a thing. Every time he opens his mouth all that comes out is a continous stream of BS that is loaded with "officialeese" and says absolutely nothing. Sadly, most of Washington have learned to speak that way. Just listen to most Senators and Representatives. They all sound alike.

Jay Carney´s primary qualification is "will lie for money." He´s lucky that "will lie for money" happens to be the one job requirement for Press Secretary to Stinky.
#1: Big-time dittos to your first point. Stinky l-o-o-o-v-v-e-s collecting "his" reparations. Mo maybe more so.
#2: He was busy writing the name down to make sure the reporter gets colonoscopic tax audits for the next 4 years, and as many going back as can be arranged
#4: Well, perjury only applies to lying under oath. Trying to get Carney to swear on a Bible might result in brimstone smoke and a big handful of ashes.
#5: Could you do it for $172,200? That´s Carney´s pay. And he manages to do the lying, whether he does it well or not.
#19: See my reply to #5.
#23: It´s $180,000 per hour for the AF1 747. But it never travels alone. There´s a duplicate 747 that goes long as back-up, plus a big cargo jet [C-141, maybe?] hauling The Beast [the armored limo] plus another armored limo or two. Mo probably gets a sweet taxpayer-owned exec-jet version of the Boeing 757 like Pelosi used to avoid the ignominy of one fuel stop per Calf. round-trip. Don´t know what Panetta´s perk-jet is for his many trips home.
#28: Or proving it wasn´t much of one?

If he doesn´t believe what he is being told to regurgitate to the press and the American public, then he is merely prostituting himself. A person of character would resign if that were his situation.

Any one, two, or three of these media traitors to the truth, could come clean and literally save our entire nation by revealing a boatload of horrifying truths. Past time for FoxNews, Tea Party, Rand, Ron, Sarah, Michelle B, Ted, Marco, Rick, Breitbart, Drudge, Levin, Napolitano and many other outspoken dissidents to concentrate and focus on the unified conspiracy of all the press/TV related Lying System and expose it every day! Loud cheers greeted Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus as they arrived at their homes Wednesday afternoon, almost one decade after they were abducted, subjected to prolonged sexual and psychological abuse, and were apparently bound with ropes and chains, in the Cleveland house of horrors. The happy homecoming came on the same day that 52-year-old Ariel Castro was charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape, and police officers pulled out over 200 items of evidence from Ariel Castro’s home on Seymour Avenue. Castro reportedly only let the women, who he forced to wear disguises,

Pat Hall wants to sell her house in north Oak Cliff. The place at 1026 N. Beckley Ave. should attract some interest, as it has for half a century. A guy named Lee Harvey Oswald lived there for a while in 1963. That is, until he was arrested and charged with killing President John F. Kennedy and Dallas police Officer J.D. Tippit. With the 50th anniversary of those events drawing near, Hall plans to list the property for sale June 1. No word yet on an asking price. But she has a minimum in mind. “It’s not going to be too low,”

Currently, city museums are prohibited from lawfully displaying firearms of historic value, according to the city´s long-standing gun ordinance. President Obama talks jobs Thursday in Texas. Starting a series of "Middle Class Jobs & Opportunity Tours," Obama travels to Austin to visit high-tech facilities and promote his plans for education and basic research funding. First, Obama visits Manor New Tech High School, where, the White House schedule says, "students are learning the real-world skills they need to fill the jobs that are available right now." Then the president tours Applied Materials Inc., "one of the high-tech companies that has made Austin a hub for innovation and job creation," said the White House. Obama is scheduled to make remarks at both places.

On Wednesday, Representative Darrell Issa’s House Oversight Committee convened the ninth round of hearings on the lethal September 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, a number of iterations made necessary by the administration’s manifold efforts to stall, stymie, and deflect the investigation. Testifying were Mark Thompson, acting deputy assistant secretary of state for operations, counterterrorism bureau; Eric Nordstrom, former State Department regional security officer for Libya; and Gregory Hicks, a foreign-service officer and former deputy chief of mission in Libya, who, after Ambassador Chris Stevens’s death that night, became America’s senior diplomat in country.

The D.C. Court of Appeals will allow several employers to move forward with a lawsuit that would prevent the National Labor Relations Board from ruling on their cases. Three companies had sued the NLRB on the grounds that it did not have the authority to rule on labor disputes. The motion of consolidation issued by the judges will combine the suits and allow them to move forward with oral arguments scheduled for September. Glenn Taubman, a lawyer with the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, hailed the victory as another step forward to restoring balance in labor disputes.

The Cleveland kidnapping drama was unfolding on the airwaves, hour after hour, a riveting spectacle that was overshadowing every other conceivable story. Nothing could possibly bump it from the nation´s television screens -- or so I thought. When word came Wednesday afternoon that a verdict had been reached in the Jodi Arias murder trial, the focus of the cable news universe immediately shifted from Ohio to Arizona, where the defendant was convicted of first-degree murder. It was a day of anguish and emotion -- and a revealing Rorschach test of media values.

Much has already been written and said about the lack of media attention the Kermit Gosnell abortion case has received. Folks like Democratic strategist Kirsten Powers and Atlantic writer Conor Friedersdorf have come out to lambaste the liberal media for an unwillingness to make the story front-page news until it was essentially shamed into doing so. It’s hard to say why the nation’s biggest news outlets ignored it for so long. After all, “If it bleeds it leads,” the famous news saying goes, and Gosnell’s got it all — sex, death, corruption, gore. And the knee-jerk explanation,

In 2002, the U.S. military had just two kinds of camouflage uniforms. One was green, for the woods. The other was brown, for the desert. Then things got strange. Today, there is one camouflage pattern just for Marines in the desert. There is another just for Navy personnel in the desert. The Army has its own “universal” camouflage pattern, which is designed to work anywhere. It also has another one just for Afghanistan, where the first one doesn’t work. Even the Air Force has its own unique camouflage, used in a new Airman Battle Uniform. But it has flaws.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Turnout was heavier than expected, with about 32 percent of the district’s 455,702 registered voters casting ballots. Sanford, who has never lost an election, returns to the 1st District seat he held for three terms from 1995-2001. The White House on Wednesday stood by its story that the Obama administration remained unsure exactly who was responsible for the attack on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi nearly five days after it occurred even though new revelations show Ansar al-Sharia’s direct involvement. Gregory Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya and a self-described whistleblower, testified before a Congressional committee Wednesday that the body of Ambassador J. Christpher Stevens was missing for hours during the attack after being dragged out of the diplomatic post in Benghazi.

There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. The University of Cambridge released a statement Wednesday indicating that Hawking had told the Israelis last week that he would not be attending "based on advice from Palestinian academics that he should respect the boycott." University officials said they had "previously understood" that Hawking´s decision was based solely on health concerns — he is 71 and has severe disabilities — but had now been told otherwise by Hawking´s office.
