This move is wrong on all counts. Nothing like demoralizing are troops by denying them some pleasures. What a disgusting regime we have in DC.

My son is at West Point - where they have QUIT SERVING BREAKFAST - because of sequestration.

I am not kidding. This is not a joke. And, apparrently, this will be coming to an Army base near you. Two meals a day is the new Army standard.

I wondered how long it would take his evil eyes to turn to the fast food available on the military posts and bases. As it turns out...not long at all.

I grow so very weary of these overreaching "do as I say" folks. Please make them go away.

As many of us realize, the ultimate aim of collectivists is to control every aspect of our lives ---- what we eat, how warm or how cool we keep our houses, what we drive, when we can drive, harsh water rationing, remove our right to defend ourselves. There is no end. The second civil war has started. Grab a tight rein.

So to recap - the administration that needs 1.7 billion rounds of ammo for *domestic* use, but sends our guys into combat training with blanks...

Now wants to replace their time honored Hershey bars with tofu.

That about sum it up?

Idiots.

Either nobody in or near the WH has served in the military or they have no taste buds. The value of comfort food to our troops is beyond compare. Besides that, military members are required to keep their weight down or not be accepted at reenlistment time. Those who live near bases know this because of the large number of military types jogging at lunch time or before heading off to their posts. They don´t need diktats on what to eat.

Making more sense would be cutting sugary sodas, chips and candy from eligible food stamp products.

Meanwhile, Boehner has full trust in Obama....

This IS without a doubt " the " worst president...note I wrote it with a small p cause he doesn´t rate a capital p. He and mooch is the worst two people that Our White House has ever had roam it´s halls.

With all that is the Obama nation, the devil is in the details, (and the man himself). Judas is his role model.

More "gayification" of the military.
What next? Bean sprouts, tofu, organic foods? Ferns in all the cafeterias?

In Afghanistan the food is great and plentiful at the big bases where the brass live.

But at the Combat Outposts the troops walk through a chow line like prisoners. You take whatever they slap onto your plate. No more- No less.

20% of the soldiers do ALL of the fighting and they are the ones who get treated like McDooDoo.

Good healthy food should always be available for people to choose what they like.

There is no excuse for West Point to skip serving breakfast. That is idiotic.

And while I´m at it...
I´ve never agreed with the punitive policy of the academies´ only allowing 15 minutes
to eat, which is foolish, unhealthy, and counterproductive.

Mealtime is not the time for hazing and pressure, even for plebes.

People in academy training exercises need to consume lots of calories, especially
when young and healthy, and rapid force-feeding is just dumb. Eating takes time.

There is actually nothing wrong with making available healthy options.
I eat at McDonald´s and select healthy options... except the devil makes me
drink demon diet sodas...
They taste better, btw, with a dash of real sugar soda added in.
For example, Diet Coke with Diet Dr. Pepper and a couple ounces of sugar Dr. Pepper.
Tastes great, fewer calories.
(Loved the taste of a dash of Barq´s Root Beer but I´m apparently allergic to something in it... you don´t want to know.)

Just one more step in zippy´s plan to destroy the military - demoralize them to the point that they won´t re-up. No troops = no military.

What about ´care packages´ from Mom? Are they now suspect? Will someone be assigned to go through those boxes looking for contraband? Wow..... just what our troops need after a hard day ~ to look forward to a package from home only to receive a torn up box containing socks and handkerchiefs.

First they take their tuition money and now they take their Big Macs? Really? What´s next?

Actually, I´m afraid of the answer to my last question.

Once there are enough brown faces in brown shirts (unionized, naturally!) there will be no need for a military.

Anyone who watches television, the internet, newspapers and magazines is fully aware that this President eats junk food when he is on the road, in campaign mode, on vacation. And his wife constantly preaches to us about what we should and should not eat. She does not practice what she preaches.

Taking away breakfast from our troops is a disgrace. And they are the ones responsible. Upon Obama´s return from the Middle East, I would like to see the Obama family on a strict regimen for one month of MRE´s.

Why do they never start at the free-loader level when they do things like this? Restrict welfare and food stamp choices, especially the long termers. Leave our military people alone - they have EARNED the right to make their own choices. Even if Moochele doesn´t like it.

How about food for the POW´s at Gitmo ?
Did that change ?

The woman has serious food issues.
