That´s not an inaccurate statement. We have a need to address our debt and future obligations, but we don´t have an immediate crisis. We´re not Greece or Cyprus yet. I´m not a fan of Boehner, but he says nothing wrong here.

This statement was bad enough , but " he absolutely trusts " Obama is grounds for removal . He should have been replaced three years ago . Wake up house .

But...there isn´t anything incorrect is what Boehner said. It´s spending, not debt that´s the problem. If you spent $1T more but taxes $2T more, you´d lower the debt. Is that OK?

There is no "immediate" problem because the US can easily handle existing debt. He´s also correct that it´s future spending piling up that´s the real issue. But it is still stupid to say. Reminds me of those dopes that try to split hairs over abortion/rape. Yes, they are correct by why give Dems the talking points?

#11 I don´t see the comparison. I think the real question should be why is Boehner going out doing the Sunday shows. We have younger, smarter, more articulate spokespeople in the party. Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, McCain, Graham as the face of the party is a disaster.

Perhaps the debt crisis is not immediate. But, by the time it does become immediate it will be too late. The Great Depression will look like a slight economic blip in comparison to what´s coming.
