Why does the devil in ´The Bible´
look exactly like President Obama?

Daily Mail [UK], by James Nye

Sunday evening´s episode of the History Channel´s hit series ´The Bible´ threw up an awkward coincidence when viewers noticed that Satan bore a remarkable resemblance to President Obama. Twitter exploded into life during the airing of the latest edition of the Mark Burnett-produced series with most noting the striking similarities between the 44th President and the devil played by actor Mehdi Ouzaani. The show has been a surprise hit in the ratings, with the religious mini-series attracting 13.1 million viewers on Wednesday - topping television leviathan American Idol´s 12.8 million viewers on Wednesday.

It didn´t occur to me that the devil resembled BO, but now that its been mentioned....

BTW, the Bible episode last night was very compelling. I wish they could go into more detail and instead of a 5 part series, make a 52 part series one a week.

#10 What you reference was NOT this show.

FTA: The unfortunate incident bares comparison with HBO´s infamous inclusion of a fake George W. Bush head impaled onto a stick during the background of a Season 1 Game of Thrones episode.
When the incident went viral, the network announced it was pulling the offending episode - from its rotation, freezing shipments of DVD box sets and halting sales on iTunes until the embarrassing blunder had been fixed.

Last night was watching The Bible with hubby and could not believe what I was seeing when Satan appeared in the scene with Jesus. Bronco Bama? I had to laugh at myself for thinking that. However, others were seeing it too evidenced by the Text messages I received. The guy does give off evil vibes. Don´t know what to make of it but it is, to say the least, unsettling and frankly, a little amusing. God works in mysterious ways...

If actor Mehdi Ouzaani has the unfortune of looking like Obama, you can´t blame that on Burnett. Whichever CSA agent cast him is the ´´culprit.´´ Glenn Beck has exceeded his reach on this one. Ouzaani (if that´s his real name) has been around longer than Obama OR Beck, if you go by just his photo.

Last night I watched three hours of this, the first I´ve seen. I disagree with #18, in that I doubt Moses looked much like a nicely-coiffed, blond, clean-robed Charlton Heston but more like the dusty, grubby-haired actor in "The Bible". I enjoyed Heston at the time, but I´m pretty sure this is more true to what people really looked like in those days.

I did not see the episode, but I looked at the picture in the article and saw the resemblance immediately. What is interesting is that when I tried to identify what about the actor´s and the President´s faces were the same, I could not find a single feature that matched. Their eyes are different, their noses are different, their lips are different, their chins are different, their eyebrows are different, yet they bear an uncanny resemblance.

Obama is not the antichrist, although he is manifestly an anthchrist. If he were the Man of Sin, he´d enjoy nearly unanimous support, for Scripture tells us that this personage will fool even the elect, and that if the times of tribulation were not foreshortened, all would perish.

It´s not hard to believe that biblical tribulation might be near at hand--Israel and a peace treaty with Israel (broken after three and a half years) will be at the center of it--but that time is not here yet. Some biblical scholars think that the antichrist will come from the EU, so unless Obama seeks to be king of the world after his term, he wouldn´t fit the description. Whatever, he´s the most destructive president in American history, and the Democrats have morphed into a menace. Our freedom (and everything we own) is in mortal danger.

It’s no secret that Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) don’t like one another. They battle regularly over legislation and their Senate floor fights over arcane-but-important rules have become must-see entertainment for senatorial insiders. According to aides in both parties, the two leaders have not had a one-on-one sitdown to discuss legislation (or anything else) since late last year. Nowadays, all business is conducted on the phone or in brief discussions on the Senate floor. Part of that feud is political – Democrats targeted McConnell in 2008, Republicans targeted Reid in 2010, Democrats

Mr. Stephens highlighted what he believes would be some of the obstacles facing Senator Paul, beginning with his long political association with Jack Hunter, alias the “Southern Avenger,” who among other things wrote an April 13, 2004 column titled “John Wilkes Booth Was Right.” The “Southern Avenger” said this: Although Lincoln’s assassin, John Wilkes Booth’s heart was in the right place, the Southern Avenger

At any one time hundreds of thousands of us are cocooned in pressurised cabins scything through the cold upper reaches of the troposphere. Soon enough, this figure will rise to a million: a million passengers, flown safely, if not always comfortably, across countries and continents, and with little call for comment. Before engines could lift heavier-than-air machines convincingly off the ground, any attempt at flight had been dangerous, and yet for hundreds of years, adventurers strapped wings to their arms, and leapt off hilltops and towers in the vain hope of flying. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,

Davis, of Fort Worth, will undergo the outpatient surgery at the Fort Worth Brain and Spine Institute. Dr. Thomas Ellis will perform the

The cash infusion by the federal government is actually going to help the city pay pensions, even though they´re playing a kind of shell game with the money. As for "blight removal," perhaps they could start with city hall. Reuters: Michigan officials and President Barack Obama´s Administration are discussing a plan to free up $100 million in federal money to aid Detroit´s retired city workers, the Detroit Free Press reported on Tuesday. Citing two people familiar with the talks, the newspaper said the talks were centered around federal money flowing to Michigan for blight removal. Under the plan, $100 million

Climate change’s latest casualty appears to be fish — or more specifically, fish brains — as researchers say the carbon dioxide that’s being absorbed into the ocean is causing the scaly creatures to lose their survival instincts. In other words, the fish are losing their minds, The Daily Mail reported. The acid from atmospheric carbon dioxide seeps into sea waters, dissolves and ultimately lowers the pH balance, researchers said. The acidic waters then hamper the fishes’ sensory systems, so they’re not able to distinguish between smells any longer, the scientists went on. When the acid levels get really high, the fish lose their
