Obama is just mean. Susan Collins had been talking about this menu all week and how proud she was for Maine to supply it. Obama knew that. It was a petty, mean spirited slap in the face.

George HW Bush had a taster. When he ate out he brought his own water, utensils and condiments. I don´t know about others. Zachary Taylor could have used one. It might have spared us Millard Fillmore.

I don´t think that Muslims are allowed to eat shellfish (lobster). I´ve got a lib in my family who likes to turn down what I offer when she´s visiting. It is a passive-aggressive way for her to diss me by not eating my cooking. By the way, I am known as a very good cook by everyone but her.

Whether or not he has a food taster is beside the point as far as I´m concerned. However, the fact that he made such a big production out of not having his food taster present at a "working lunch" where the food was provided by Republicans, all of whom were eating from the same food he would be eating, smacks of a political put down, imo.

Perhaps it´s the Republicans who should be careful about eating food that has been provided by him, or his Dem buds. Those who go out of their way to project evil intentions on others for no good reason are usually more likely to do such a deed than those they implicate.

It´s my understanding that all of the presidents have had food tasters, they just kept their mouths shut about it. Maybe our fearless Reader should just bring a sack lunch.
