Thank You, Holy Spirit, for guiding Your Church. Just as I thanked You each time You have provided us with a new Holy Father, I thank You now. Thank You for guiding the cardinals. My heart is so joyful with the selection of this wonderful man. I just can´t read enough about this new shepherd of our Church, of our Faith. One of the things I love about the Faith is that we always have a visible head of the Church. Christ is our invisible head; the pope is our visible head. Every family needs a head. Not every family has one. Thank You again, Holy Spirit.

Too bad that some are skipping reading the article and focusing on Noonan. She has done a good job here.
Even Noonan can get it right once in a while.
The origin of the headline was interesting to me.
I too am not a Catholic, but am encouraged by the emergence of this strong, humble, unpretentious man. We´ve had enough of the other kind.

All Christians are for social justice, #14. Aren´t you? You for social injustice? I guess you missed the part about his opposition to Kirchner´s social policies, or his writings about how the poor need to be more self-reliant or how he got banished to the boonies by the Argentine government.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has permanently revoked the federal firearms license of East Windsor, Conn., gun store owner David LaGuercia, whose shop reportedly sold guns used in the Newtown school massacre and a second Connecticut mass shooting. An autopsy on Shain Gandee, a cast member of the MTV reality show Buckwild, showed he died of carbon monoxide poisoning, the Kanawha County sheriff’s department said yesterday. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

SANFORD - Trayvon Martin´s parents have settled a wrongful death claim for an amount believed to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed.
