| President Barack Obama is taking a multi-day tour of Arab flashpoints next week, where he will pressure Israeli Jews to appease politically energized Arabs in Egypt, Jordan and other countries. “It is obviously a good thing that the people in the region are seeking to express themselves democratically,” declared Ben Rhodes, the president’s deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. “Israel needs to take into account the changing dynamic and the need to reach out to public opinion across the region as it seeks to make progress on issues like Israeli-Palestinian peace and broader Arab-Israeli peace,’ he insisted.

Obama will surely blame past US administrations & Israel for the lack of a deal between the Arabs, who want to eradicate Israel, and the Israelis, who want to exist. I´m really surprised and disappointed by Israel giving Obama the red carpet treatment when he arrives there.These people don´t care one with about peace offerings and people living in harmony.The left and muslims survive by having racial and economic groups at each other throats. How many peace plans Israel has offered that´s been rejected by Palestinian bakers?
The Palestinians are the middle east´s version of black people in this country who will accept nothing short of a complete slab of reparations.
With cooperation,Israel could help the Palestinians develop their own economy and make them self sufficient but they love being he world´s number one white oppression victims and aren´t about to give that up.

There is no such thing as appeasing Arabs for peace or any other reason. As for "reach out to public opinion across the region," this is laughable on its face.
It would be futile and insanity to attempt to "mollify" a whole culture of people "across the region" who are hell-bent on Israel´s destruction. Arab children are indoctrinated with this hatred from infancy through adulthood.
