McCain and Graham,
Irrelevant or Dangerous

Canada Free Press, by Doug Patton

Original Article

Posted By:NMPatriot, 3/15/2013 12:53:18 AM

Imagine U.S. Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Jon Tester of Montana attacking fellow Democrats Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer and Richard Blumenthal over their unconstitutional gun control proposals. Further, envision Manchin granting an interview with conspiratorial radio talk show host Alex Jones, during which the senator calls Feinstein, Schumer and Blumenthal “wacko birds.” Picture the harrumphing that would emanate from the elite media…

Comments:
McCain and Graham show their progressive side when they would rather rule than represent. They sit proudly among the poster children for term limits.

Lindsey keeps getting sent back to DC because of our stupid open primary system in SC. The Ds play R For A Day and vote for him in hordes. And of course our GOP establishment protects him as the incumbent. All I can say is, follow the money.

I must agree. As long as we have Democrats voting in Republican primaries, we´ll have to suffer with McCains and Romneys.

These two owe their notoriety to their symbiotic relationship with the media. Their influence is questionable, esp. given McCain´s grating personality.

These two azzclowns are irrelevant to me and dangerous to conservative principles.

John McCain gets face time with the alphabet Ministry of Truth minions only when he is violating the 11th Commandment: “Thou Shalt Not Speak Ill of another Republican.” or when he is trying to atone for his alleged Keating Five Savings and Loan sins by trying to restrict our free speech rights by promoting some Media Monopoly and Incumbent Protection Campaign Finance Reform.

Both of these men have proven themselves to be worthless and wates of time. There is no reason to listen to them bout anything. Like Newt, they have no set of standards tey hold to. They are part of the problem.

Everyone knows that McCain was trying to refer to “Angry Birds" right? Most likely some hipster staffer wrote out his quip for him so he would come off sounding hip, which of course he flubbed having no clue as to what he was referring too so out comes "wacko birds".

Reply 9 - Posted by: Rinktum, 3/15/2013 5:01:49 AM     (No. 9225945)

McCain and Graham are worthless. They both need to go. However, the real problem is that the Republican Party will not close the primaries. As long as Democrats can vote as Republicans during primary season, the status quo will never change. It is apparent that the Republican Party is not serious about winning elections or they would have closed the primaries years ago. Close the dang primaries. Then the people can take care of the McCains and Grahams in the party which is the way it should be. We don´t need career politicians especially ones who relish undermining the party.

My vote is for stupidity and dangerous.

Reply 11 - Posted by: Srhea, 3/15/2013 7:01:17 AM     (No. 9226013)

I have already advised the RNC that they no longer get any of my money while McCain and Graham are on their dole.

Their "early"-zeimers illness keeps shwing up more and more as they abandon conservative principles and comrades.

McCain and Graham´s time is long past for them to fade into the history books.

I contributed quite a bit to the RNC during the last election. No more. In the future I will contribute only to campaigns which challenge RINOs or serve to re-elect real conservatives.

"No set of laws can eliminate evil from the world, or prevent every senseless act of violence in our society. So said President Obama in words of comfort in Newtown. The president was right to speak of evil, but mistaken when he called the massacre "senseless." For this was a premeditated and purposeful act of mass murder, and the devil that did it knew exactly what he was doing and why.(Snip) Before he went into that school to shoot 20, 30 or 40 children, barely more than babies, he knew his slaughter would be so stomach-turning and heart-wrenching that

I think I have the Progressive/Socialist/Communist movement figured out, and the answer is God. Surprised? Read on. Humans have an instinctive desire to believe in something bigger than themselves—something all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, that can make everything right when nothing seems to go right. Ask any anthropologist or archaeologist, and he or she will tell you that pretty much every culture in the history or humankind has had a set of beliefs regarding a god or gods.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial. Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault....
