Enraged protesters battle cops in
Brooklyn streets during third night
of rioting after it´s revealed that
16-year-old Kimani Gray was
shot in the back

Protesters enraged over the fatal shooting of a teenager by police poured into Brooklyn streets for a third straight night Wednesday, pitching bricks, bottles and garbage in furious clashes with cops. At least 18 demonstrators were arrested along Church Ave. in East Flatbush. Police struggled to control a hostile crowd that broke away from a planned peaceful vigil for Kimani (Kiki) Gray, 16, killed by police on Saturday night.

Comments:
One thing for sure, right or wrong Blacks don´t just sit around and take whatever is dished out by our rulers. White people, on the other hand, sit meekly by while our God-given and Constitutional rights are not so slowly stripped away.

If gray was the angel his supporters say he was the race hustlers would have descended by now. The Daily News is trying to stir things up by featuring a large photo of four racist white cops oppressing a cherubic youth.

#1: Please go away.

So the cops thought he had a gun, but couldn´t really tell. Whatever happened to taking cover and firing several warning shots? Now it´s "when in doubt, take him out."

Summary executions are not good, people, and they seem to be happening more frequently.

Protest my foot. That´s a prelude to a shopping spree.
Move over Trayvon Obama is going to be another ´baby daddy´ for Kimani Gray.
When are Sharpton and Jessie, the two Justice Brothers, going to show up? This is made to order.
Can you believe this is New York where guns and ´Big´ sodas are banned so how does a 16 year old get a gun. Background check, maybe it held more that five ´bullets´,illegal in NY, there are suppose to be gun laws to stop this. The gun laws didn´t work because the little 16 year old thug sure got his hands on a gun.
Good job NYPD and thank you for your service.

I tend to agree with #8. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered but if past experience is any indication, it doesn´t mater what happened. The police officers will not be held accountable no matter what.

Remember the man who was shot while unlocking his front door in upper Manhattan? I believe he was approached by 4 officers (they had the wrong guy) and when the unarmed man who was coming home from work reached for his wallet to show his ID, they shot him 35 times. DOA.

It got so out of hand here in Las Vegas that the local paper did an in-depth series on the many cop shootings of unarmed civilians here in the Valley. Now there is a Federal investigation going on. One of the shootings was a 30 year old mentally disabled man who was crossing Fremont street downtown. A cop called out to him to stop because he was jaywalking. The man turned and the cop fired 15 times, The cop, who was a lousy shoot and only hit him 3 times, said he made a motion towards his belt.

Sorry, #8, but the facts as reported are that 2 uniformed police saw Gray and his fellow Bloods gang members loitering on the street, and Gray´s body movements suggested he was carrying. The cops then attempted to do a "Stop and Frisk", and Gray began to pull something from his pocket. The cops warned him to stop, and when the gun came put, warned him to drop it. He pointed the gun at the police and was shot. He was struck 7 times. 4 entry wounds were in his front, 3 in his back. Whether he spun around after he was originally struck to get hit in the back, or exactly where the police officers were standing in relation to him has not been reported.
He was an armed thug who drew and pointed a loaded handgun at police. I think this was a righteous takedown.
The Daily News headline, not surprisingly, is inflammatory and misleading. The names of the reporters in the byline migh give you a clue as to why.

What do you think the Drone program is all about? And how do you expect the police not to notice when Obama and Holder are out there teaching them every day that a quick and easy kill means no messy interrogations, no long trials, no worries about those pesky "rights". No New Truck for Women Shot During Dorner Manhunt

Officers opened fire on the newspaper delivery women, piercing their pickup truck with more than 100 bullet holes.

The two newspaper delivery women who were shot at during the manhunt for Christopher Dorner will not be getting a new replacement truck as promised by the LAPD, according to their attorney Glen Jonas.

LAPD and Galpin Ford wanted his clients to pose for a photo opportunity and pay income tax on the truck. The women no longer want the truck after they were told they needed to fill out a 1099 form for the donation, Jonas said Monday.

The women´s Toyota Tacoma was pierced with 102 bullet holes from the Feb. 7 shooting, according to Jonas. Emma Hernandez is still recovering from two bullet wounds to her neck, which are giving her life-threatening complications, according to Jonas, who described what his clients went through that morning.

A Slate article by David Gans makes much of the fact that business groups haven’t stood up to support Hobby Lobby’s religious exemption claims: This spring, the Supreme Court will decide — for the first time in our nation’s history — whether secular, for-profit corporations are entitled to invoke the constitutional guarantee of the free exercise of religion. The stakes are huge, as the justices will determine whether business corporations can claim a religious exemption from federal laws that protect the rights of their employees.

A State of the Union address is often difficult to fact-check, no matter who is president. The speech is a product of many hands and is carefully vetted, so major errors of fact are relatively rare. But State of the Union addresses often are very political speeches, an argument for the president’s policies, so context is sometimes missing. Here is a guide through some of President Obama’s more fact-challenged claims, in the order in which he made them. At the end, we also examine one fishy fact in the Republican response.

Approximately 18 people die every day waiting for an organ transplant. But that may change someday sooner than you think -- thanks to 3D printing. Advances in the 3D printing of human tissue have moved fast enough that San Diego-based bio-printing company Organovo now expects to unveil the world´s first printed organ -- a human liver -- next year. Like other forms of 3D printing, bio-printing lays down layer after layer of material -- in this case, live cells -- to form a solid physical entity -- in this case, human tissue.

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.
