We are many who consider ourselves progressive in the true sense of the word (as true progress lies in ridding the world of all Marxism) but cannot say so because the Left has been allowed to hijack our language. This goes double for young people. "Conservative" also implies a bias against technological change, which no one in the GOP should be against. It´s the Left who are retrograde and backwards, yet they lay claim to all the good adjectives...

The idea of a "big tent" is admirable as far as inclusion goes, but should not extend to furthering a socialist fifth column of progressives masquerading as conservatives.

We have had a long line of presidential election failures running RINO compromises - the "republican" advocates of the progressive agenda to remove constitutional limitations on the power of the federal government to restrict liberty.

I´d say the problematic C-word is Co-opt. Conservative people, language, and institutions ave been co-opted.

Real conservatives have no need for titles or banners. They just have need to keep focus, never give up on America, even though we may give up on politicians, political parties and yes, politics itself.n it´s the way we live and breath freedom and are determined to never give that feedom up.
