Patriots Must Be Prepared

American Thinker, by Lloyd Marcus

Mary and I were sitting at dinner with a couple of liberal friends whom we had not seen in several years. They were aware of my involvement in the Tea Party. Spontaneously, the man, with his date nodding in agreement, went into a rant about how Republicans are mean and should stop blocking government from doing what government is supposed to do. This couple is pretty intelligent. But clearly, they are clueless low-info voters -- the man an admitted subscriber to the liberal blogosphere.

I do this on a daily basis in usenet and on facebook. I especially like the few face to face "discussions" I get to participate in. I like watching libtards look for backup to their mindless statements.

I forgot to add: You have a "smart" phone! Use it! You will see I´m right! That always baffles them, due to their inability to look up any information on the phone that does not involve some sort of a game.

In the past two years I am now seeing ´friend´s´ who are liberals as no longer friends. Yes, the liberal democrats in DC are destroying this country, but who put them there?
I can no longer just smile, say hi, and ´enjoy the sushi´ asnthe author said he did. I now look upon them with contempt and have nothing to do with them. They are destroying this country by supporting democrats in DC

Reply 4 - Posted by: Muguy, 3/13/2013 8:09:42 AM     (No. 9222275)

The author of the article, Lloyd Marcus, makes some really great observations in the article:

His lib dinner partners were "his argument was emotion-driven and brain-dead". This pretty well sums up the difference between libtards and conservatives--they do dangerous things without much thought behind their actions (little consideration for cause and affect)

Another great point from the article: "Obama attempted to use the sequester to force Republicans to raise taxes AGAIN". Obama knew going it that the sequester could be used to create "pain" and that only higher taxes to go with his higher spending could keep those tax dollars flowing, and on this he may have found his lap dog media unwilling to go over the cliff this time.

Still another great point: "Assisted by the media, Obama sells his perverted definition of "fairness" to low-info voters." This pits people against each other as the man tries to convince people that it is unfair that those who worked hard and played by the rules did something underhanded to ´cheat´ those with less.

He succinctly tells us that "Obama knows that the mainstream media usually acts as his personal public relations firm, eagerly selling his lies to the public" and this may be about to break over this sequester nonsense using children as props in the oft-played "its for the children" rant.

I will try my best to accept his challenge not to let the low-info lib Obama supporters get off with this crap, but they get so emotional supporting this charlatan that facts seem to bounce off their brains.... they feel as they are so enlightened that they have all the answers!

Be vigilant my friends!

Big Lie #1: the Government has the power to deliver social services.
Examples abound.
Government Social Services (the idea itself) is an oxymoron.
Government exists by TAKING from Society. This is called taxation.
Social Services consist in giving TO Society. Such activity is only possible for individuals, of their own free will.
Thus all Social Service programs are doomed to failure from the start.
Challenge your liberal friends to provide instances of social services which have made life better for anyone. That $5 trillion spent to alleviate poverty, now--how come poverty has not been alleviated?
Or those farm subsidies, intended to help the poor individual farmer. How does all that money go to agribusiness?

You get the point. It is not that Government should, it is rather that Government can´t.

Well, Lloyd, are you just now waking up? Better do some more research. You can´t reason or negotiate with libtards (commies/fascists/socialists/stalinists/marxist/etc.), all you can do is bury them. They will not stop doing what their mental illness and lust for power drives them to do until they are planted. And everyone of them in this nation is a domestic enemy of the constitution. You should stop letting emotion drive your thinking, if you can. They are capable of the most heinous atrocities - just look at all the examples we have from the last century.

Reply 11 - Posted by: M2, 3/13/2013 9:15:25 AM     (No. 9222412)

Marcus´ solution is simply not possible right now.

I have done what he suggests, many times, and always am met with the same response: "Where do you GET such information?"

When you tell the truth, they don´t believe your sources. When you confront them on where they get their information, they proudly point to the Washington Post, The Boston Globe, the New York Times and CNN. They believe every lie.

When you say you get your information from "American Thinker", the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, or any other conservative source, they laugh at you for being so gullible. We have stalemate of the sources and that is the problem.

Even if you quote the government´s own figures, they will find a way to tell you you´ve misinterpretd them. There is a willful blindness on the part of liberals to acutally look at the realities around them instead of listening to liberal lies. It always disintegrates into accusations about the sources of information the other person puts their faith in. Then you get hostility about who is stupid and who is rational.

I don´t know how to deal with that.

When Rush said we have "no common ground" with liberals, he was right. I knew that years ago and now it is simply time for a divorce and a war: Separate yourselves from liberals, then whip their collective arses at the ballot box and by taking over the schools and the media. It will take time, but we must move quickly.

God help us. And that, at this point, is all we´ve got. We need a miracle and a lot of prayer for right to prevail and for a serious leader to step up to the plate.

Dr. Carson?

Progressive fascism is a religion. It is not based on facts, but what needs to be done in order to build their progressive fascist paradise.

I think the best argument is to ask them As they want to give government power to control every aspect of society, how they are going to prevent someone like Stalin or Hitler from taking control?

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Projecting madly, the White House on Sunday pushed the notion that Republican intransigence is the reason that Democrats have been unable to pass a budget during President Obama’s tenure. “Right now,” said senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer on Fox News Sunday, “the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway.” This is certainly rich coming from an administration that has failed to garner a single “yes” vote on its budget proposals for the past several years, even from members of its own party. No doubt there are parents who have frank, frequent, open and easy discussions with their teens about sex. I’ve never met any. I do know parents, however, who were stunned to find their 15-year-old’s birth control pills in her pocketbook. Or who came home early to discover junior and a girl they’d never met frantically buttoning up. Or who found out — when their children were grown — what really went on when Meghan said she was sleeping over at Ashley’s. Such sobering tales of teens snookering mom and dad caused mixed emotions in me — a solidly pro-choice

A few years after the assassination of President John F.
