| Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Marcia L. Fudge is escalating her campaign to urge President Barack Obama to pick African Americans for his cabinet, publicly releasing a letter that slams the first black president for a lack of diversity among his closest advisers. “The people you have chosen to appoint in this new term have hardly been reflective of this country’s diversity,” the Ohio Democrat said in the March 11 letter. Fudge adds that CBC members’ offices have received phone calls from angry constituents questioning why Obama hasn’t nominated anyone with the ability “to speak to the unique needs of African Americans.

The unique need to sit on one´s backside and let others provide for you. The real need to believe Obama gives a rat´s hind end about you and the black community. Obama only cares about himself and doesn´t have to pretend anymore since the election is over.

When a Democrat says "diversity" she means the diametric opposite of diversity. You never once hear these lying charlatans praise the nominations of Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, or Sarah Palin (are white women "diverse"?). They loved the "diverse" Van Jones appointment not because of his skin color, but because he was a communist.
What they want is special treatment for socialism, nothing else. By wrapping it in race and gender they think they can silence the opposition via induced guilt. Unfortunately, this tactic works exceptionally well on "let´s all get along" Republicans.

The problem for Mr. Fudge is most blacks aren´t liberal, so it´s hard to find the progressive/liberals from the black and hispanic ranks.
And if he hasn´t realized, you better have been educated in some Ivy-league school which means you´ve either been given a preference, or you come from privileged background like Obama.
The cabinet is mostly white because that´s who runs the Democrat party - white, educated, affluent liberals.

A family´s criticism of inflight entertainment allegedly prompted a United flight to be diverted over "security concerns." In a story published in The Atlantic, one family recounts traveling from Denver to Baltimore with two young sons, ages 4 and 8. During the flight, the PG-13-rated detective film "Alex Cross" was shown on drop-down monitors across the plane. The family worried about their young children seeing inappropriate content in the film. "Alarmed by the opening scenes, we asked two flight attendants if they could turn off the monitor; both claimed it was not possible," the family said, according to The Atlantic.

A Library of Congress film preservation worker faces federal charges for allegedly posting fake sex ads on Craigslist directing men to his ex-girlfriend. The Star Exponent of Culpeper reports that 61-year-old Kenneth Edward Kuban was charged with stalking a Fauquier County woman he had dated briefly in 2011. Kuban, who works at the Library of Congress Packard campus in Culpeper, allegedly posted the ads from his work computer. Authorities say Kuban made several Craigslist postings each week directing men to his ex-girlfriend´s home for sex or to buy pornographic videos.

We all know that guns can cost lives because the media repeat this message endlessly, as if we could not figure it out for ourselves. But even someone who reads newspapers regularly and watches numerous television newscasts may never learn that guns also save lives-- much less see any hard facts comparing how many lives are lost and how many are saved. But that trade-off is the real issue, not the Second Amendment or the National Rifle Association, which so many in the media obsess about.

Long Beach — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three tech-savvy criminals wanted for a series of car burglaries in which they used an unknown device to gain keyless entry to vehicles. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University, officials confirmed Tuesday. According to White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest, both Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be on hand when the 43rd President’s library and museum are dedicated. RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
