Time, options running out
for Aussie to stay in Wyoming

Casper Star-Tribune [WY], by Kyle Roerink

Original Article

Posted By:Husker Infidel, 3/11/2013 11:58:33 AM

It is a myth that wedding rings and sacred vows guarantee permanent residency in this country. Ashley Fuller applied for citizenship after he was married. The federal government denied him a green card.“It’s only in the movies,” said Fuller’s wife, Cindy. Fuller is facing deportation on Friday. He’s lived the American dream alongside his wife for 25 years. Like many expatriates who arrive on U.S. soil, Fuller spawned a symbiotic relationship between himself and the community. The father of three owns a business, employs four workers and volunteers with two charity groups in Casper.

Comments:
This is a travesty. He is trying to follow the rules, while the DHS and Janet Napolitano release illegal aliens.

Millions of Mexicans waved across the border, but we´ve got to get rid of the odd Australian in our midst. Ridiculous.

Hey, what an awesome thing to see the INS/ICE folks kicking out such a hideously awful person!!! Lord, please make a way...

His problems are honesty, hard working, tax paying family man.

Kick him out!

Drug dealing, tax cheat, illegal.

Amnesty and freebees.

The American way.

Wrong skin color to stay in the U.S.A. We are on a cultural/racial suicide mission, and admitting a white Aussie will not aid that mission.

Let me see if I have this right. A man can´t stay in the U.S. because when he was a teen-ager he smoked marijuana? But we can have as president a man who not only smoked marijuana but was a cocaine addict and dealer?

So anchor babies only apply to Hispanics? OK to ship an Aussie back but not an illegal border crasher?

We live in a banana republic where laws are enforced selectively. Mr. Fuller is less equal than illegal alien invaders from latin countries who are part of a dependable democrat voting block. If Mr. Fuller ignores the deportation ruling, he´ll get the book thrown at him, as opposed to zippy´s aunt and uncle who defied deportation orders for decades with impunity.

If the legislature and Gov. of Wyoming have any sense of true Patriotism, they will tell ICE and INS to go pond sand. This is what happens folks when we forget that the are State Citizens and not citizens of the US,USA or America.

And yet every illegal who comes over the Mexican border has a path to citizenship and all the goodies in the meanwhile, while having to right to eventually bring along every relative he has.

The fact that this guy was trying for 20 years to get citizenship should count.

If he were a half black possibly gay closet muslim he could run for high office and be welcomed like a brother. Being white and married to a woman are bad enough, but to also have a work ethic puts him in the crosshairs. He doesn´t fit the template for the new fundamentally changed Amerika.

they go after him because he has assets that he could lose and cannot go under the table with work. if he was doing only cash work and on welfare there is nothing for the feds to gain and he would just disappear into the background

Whats the problem here. All he has to do is change his last name to Gonzales and learn a spanish phrase like, "no hables ingles", and he´ll have it made. Citizenship, food stamps, free medical, and who knows what all.

Don´t blame Mexicans for it. We deny them too if they try to follow the law. It´s only the lawbreakers of any nationality that the beaurocracy love.

Change his last name to Lopez and the government will not only allow him to stay, they´ll take money from us and give it to him.

Everyone should send this story to Reason.com as well as any other conservative site you can think of. People need to get angry about this.

See, this is what I´ve been saying. Legal immigration needs reform before anything else. Illegals are consistently accommodated, while legal immigrants are put through the wringer.

There has got to be more to this then him as a teen getting caught puffing on a reefer in the OZ outback.

His problem, most probably, stems from him committing visa fraud before he came here by lying on his immigrant visa application. That´s considered by the immigration courts to be visa fraud, and the last time I checked it is one of the only criminal offenses left out there that the liberal Democrats have not created a waiver for in the immigration laws. I guess Congress figures that if an alien can successfully lie on an immigrant visa application, then because of that gain entry to the USA and get a "green card" and then if ever caught be given a waiver of the visa fraud, that the entire immigrant visa application process would be meaningless as far as keeping foreign criminals out of the USA.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault....
