Last week, driving to work, I saw a police car marked Federal Homeland Security Police. I had never heard of such a group. What does it do that the FBI doesn´t do? Is this the domestic army that Obama wanted? Has it been formed under our noses?

2,717 MRAPS? That´s about 1 for every county in the US. When you consider how many counties are sparsely populated and you move those extras to more populated counties.......

We need a gun control law to limit Obama to a billion round ammo clip. How many times does he want to shoot each american?

Sorry for the double post, went to buy ammo this weekend all i could get was .38 they were out of all the 9mm, I´m going to buy myself a 40 cal there was plenty of that ammo and it makes a bigger hole.

Bear in mind that ammo has a use-by date. You cannot store ammo indefinitely...

To use a MRAPS you have to get into it. Hard to do when you are surrounded by 270 million weapons in the hands of a well-disciplined militia.

I sent an email to my congressman (Richard Hanna, NY) requesting an explanation for the DHS purchase of the 1.6 rounds of ammo, as well as the armored vehicles the government supposedly bought for domestic use. The gist of his response was that agencies that contain law enforcement divisions (and that would include the Social Security Administration, which I found a bit strange) must have these rounds, " for homeland security purposes, and require sufficient ammunition caches for those firearms. (Hmmmmmm.....that be a whole lotta folks needing a whole lotta ammo, IMHO) And those "rumors" of the Department of Homeland Security buying tanks? Well, not to worry-those claims are false rumors too, that stem from a "misreading of an Army contract". He thought I would "like to know" that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations Directorate (HSI) DOES, however, operates and maintains a fleet of 12 MRAPs-but these are to provide, among other things, "community outreach" and "dignitary protection".

1) Why does Homeland Security need 1.6 billion hollow point bullets?
2) Why does Homeland Security need 7,000 Ar-15s with 30 round magazines?
3) Why does Homeland Security need 2,700 armored vehicles?
Anyone want to take bets on whether or not that demonrat answers my questions?
