Man Campaigning to Ban Assault
Rifles Caught Buying Assault Rifle

Front Page Magazine, by Daniel Greenfield

Original Article

Posted By:Jakester2344, 3/10/2013 12:05:58 PM

Mark Kelly may not yet be a household name, but he’s the better or worse half of Gabby Giffords, and together with her is the public face of Americans for Responsible Solutions, a PAC funded by a Texas lawyer to ban assault rifles. On FOX, Kelly said, “In 1934, we banned automatic weapons. You know, I argue the semi-automatic assault weapon with a high capacity magazine is just too dangerous to be on the street where criminals and terrorists and the mentally ill can easily get them.”

Not to mention dumb. In 1934 a tax was instituted on automatic weapons, since the AG at the time, as well as the supreme court, knew that was the only remote possibility the gov had of violating one of our basic rights through the legal thaumaturgy that they could control a right via a tax. Of course, no one mentions a poll tax these days do they - sound familiar? There isn´t a ban and they know they lack the constitutional power to ban. Too bad so many lofo´s think automatic weapons were banned or are banned, or that the government should control what the population possesses. For that matter, look at the lofo´s who think ´licensing´ concealed carry doesn´t violate the second amendment - or that the second amendment doesn´t apply to states!

Leftist Laws are just to suppress the masses that unfortunately for U.S. specifically include those dumb slugs that promote and vote these Leftists into office; thus proving without any doubt they indeed are very dumb slugs that knowingly or not are forcing our previously great American Constitutional Republic into the depths of Hell.

I submit that Mark Kelly knowingly broke the law when he bought this gun. One of the questions asked on the form is whether he is buying the gun for himself or another. If buying the gun for another he is a straw buyer. He told the news that he is going to take that semi-automatic rifle straight to the Tuscon Police. He did not buy the gun for himself, he bought it for the Tuscon Police and lied on the disclosure form.

Ah yes it´s articles like this that makes my day.
This should keep this creep from parading his nearly brain dead wife as a poster child in order to take our Second Amendment rights away.
I don´t believe Alan Brady´s wife ever stooped this low in their gun control zeal.
I hope his opponents take advantage of this in the run for Giffords seat. The Tuscon Police would like to thank the liberal lying idiot for his help and a free $1500 gun.

Ventriloquist ?

Flogging an "Unassailable" poster-person is an old leftist trick.

Remember when they trotted out 4 or 5 wives / mothers who lost family members in the twin towers to protest the war in Iraq ?

The idea is to make debate impossible and advance the agenda while hiding behind skirts of some victim. Thus any attack on the agenda appears (to a LOFO) to be an attack on the front person.

If they could win the debate on it´s merits they would not need this type of shamelessness.

Should he be bringing that sort of arsenal/stockpile (remember, if you own more than one gun, it´s stockpiling to a liberal) into a home with 1. a mentally challenged individual who is probably on some heavy-duty meds and 2. children.

O.K. folks, where´s the relation between rifles and Gifford (Gifford? Why not Mrs. Kelley? Oh, nevermind, Kelley is either feline slapped or living in sin, doesn´t matter, it´s all PC.) getting shot by Jared Lee Loughner´s drawn pistol, and so the target of Rocket Man is rifles? There is this hysteria by the Marxist left to ban rifles, or anything that projects little missiles of any kind, forget the so-called "Assault" nomenclature that has nothing to do with the shooting of victim defenseless politicians posing as Superman/woman.

Frankly I´m fed up with Kelley and his parasitic whining to indiscriminately ban weapons of any kind predicated on his defenseless wife getting shot because she was standing out there defenseless in a victim´s dream of everything is perfectly all right and "nobody´s going to dare attack me predicated on my own sense of self-importance".

By the way, where was Rocket Man when he should have been there protecting his victim defenseless wife with his NASA badge, or the very force of his self-important hairy-lipped, chrome-domed presence?

Kelly obviously bought these guns for himself, and then decided to donate the AR-15 only after he learned he´d been outed as a uyer of an ´assault weapon´.

Jeez. A national campaign to get rid of me. More emails than I can read. Threats of an advertising boycott. An answering machine jammed with hate-filled calls. It’s pig heaven for an attention-craving columnist. What did I do to deserve this? I suggested that we stop asking taxpayers to foot the bill for military funeral honors for all veterans. The people in charge of these things have already decided we can’t afford live buglers. One of the buglers contacted me, and that got me thinking. Why are we doing this in the first place?

Is the Iraq war to blame for the mess we are in? Now, I should qualify that question by explaining "mess" and "we." By "mess," I mean the dawn of Barack Obama´s second term, the predictably catastrophic rollout of Obamacare, the exploding debt and deficit, the stimulus boondoggles, etc. By "we," I mean conservatives (particularly those, like me, who supported the war), but also anyone else who doesn´t think Obama has done a bang-up job. There seems to be a growing consensus that the answer to that question is "yes."

Christianity faces being wiped out of the “biblical heartlands” in the Middle East because of mounting persecution of worshippers, according to a new report. The study warns that Christians suffer greater hostility across the world than any other religious group. And it claims politicians have been “blind” to the extent of violence faced by Christians in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The most common threat to Christians abroad is militant Islam, it says, claiming that oppression in Muslim countries is often ignored because of a fear that criticism will be seen as “racism”.

He claimed he had been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, two Purple Hearts, an Air Medal and other war-related awards. He said he was injured fighting in Iraq, he was shot six times, lost vision in his right eye, had 24 plates in his face and broke all his ribs. He told people he did tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. And he told Veterans Affairs he had post-traumatic stress disorder. None of this was true. In fact, Crane was discharged from the Army after serving less than three months, and he never fought in a war.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
