My father-in-law had an old SKS version of an AK-47. When he died it went to us. It had the huge banana clips, bayonet, etc. I had no use for it and sold it to a coworker who served in Iraq. I was one of the scary "assault rifles" this goofball has in mind. The funny thing to me is that he had rural land in no-where Texas and planned to use it to hunt the feral hogs that infested it. So, I would ask, how many bullets does one NEED in one´s firearm if 600 pounds of wounded feral hog is charging? Does one need more if the wounded hog´s companions decide to join in the fun? Is said wounded hog is three feet away, would that bayonet prove handy?
This to me shoots holes in the whole "these weapons have no use in hunting" silliness. Under that scenario (which is not farfetched in rural Texas), then how many bullets are too many?
There is also zero chance that I or my friend would have posed a threat to any human being who was not directly threatening us with violence. We are law-abiding folk, though this senator wants to make us criminals. We would be like the poor folks whose only "crime" was to want the same cold beer that was legal for them prior to Prohibition.

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
