The George Soros Blueprint
for North Carolina

Washington Free Beacon, by Andrew Evans

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/8/2013 10:56:55 AM

A nonprofit organization in North Carolina funded by progressive mega-donor George Soros has been linked to a partisan strategy memo aimed at derailing the state Republican leadership’s legislative agenda, throwing light on the shadowy network of liberal groups that operate in the state. The memo surfaced as part of a set of leaked documents that also contained liberal talking points and polling data. Stephanie Bass, the communications director for the liberal nonprofit group Blueprint NC, allegedly emailed out the documents. Bass called the documents “CONFIDENTIAL” in her email and asked recipients to

Comments:
We have yet another tax exempt organization who are ´strictly prohibited from participating or intervening in any political campaign´ that freely behave as political hacks. Soros is no doubt the most dangerous individual in this country today, other than his puppet 0bama of course. He should be in jail for crimes against this country. One of their strategies is to try to exploit tensions between various Republican leaders. Sound familiar?

Don´t think for a second that there is not a similar effort with state and local issues for every other state in the union.

This is the playbook, or one of the playbooks, for the adversary. Use it for your own benefit.

Think how many more football games a team would win if their adversaries had their playbook and an ear into their locker room and huddles.

Andrew, you need to stop using the word "liberal". They are not liberal, they are leftists. There is a huge difference. They only used the word liberal to mislead people. They are all truly tyrants!

President Barack Obama´s administration will announce on Wednesday the formation of seven "climate hubs" to help farmers and rural communities adapt to extreme weather conditions and other effects of climate change, a White House official said. The hubs will act as information centers and aim to help farmers and ranchers handle risks, including fires, pests, floods and droughts, that are exacerbated by global warming. The hubs will be located in Ames, Iowa; Durham, New Hampshire; Raleigh, North Carolina; Fort Collins, Colorado; El Reno, Oklahoma; Corvallis, Oregon; and Las Cruces, New Mexico, the official said. true Additional "sub hubs" will be

CVS Caremark is kicking the habit of selling tobacco products at its more than 7,600 drugstores nationwide. The nation’s second-largest drugstore chain says it will phase out cigarettes, cigars and chewing tobacco by Oct. 1 as it continues to focus more on health care. CVS Caremark Corp. and other major drugstore chains have been adding clinics to their stores for several years. Their pharmacists deliver flu shots and other immunizations, and their clinics also have been expanding the care they deliver. CVS CEO Larry Merlo says the company decided it can no longer sell cigarettes at places where it also

NBC´s David Gregory is annoyed at America for not giving President Obama more credit for saving the economy. During last weekend´s Meet the Press, Gregory insisted that Obama just isn´t getting enough credit for an economy that Gregory feels is "getting better." Paul Bedard calls Gregory´s claim the "mainstream media scream" of the week. During the February 2 broadcast, Gregory wondered why Americans just can´t grasp Obama´s great success. In a discussion with White House chief of staff Denis McDonough, Gregory said, "Do you ever wonder why the President doesn’t get more credit for an economy that is rebounding? What’s the disconnect

Maintain and refine, maintain and refine. That’s how progressives talk about the welfare state these days. After nearly a century of expanding government with programs like Social Security, Medicaid, and food stamps, suddenly the best the left can come up with are relative stutter-steps like universal pre-K. Liberal Democrats all but concede that Obamacare marked the end of their activist ambitions. Hereafter, we will all take vigorous walks and watch prestige dramas on HBO. But there’s still at least one major social-welfare project the left must see through before anyone considers its mission accomplished. The issue is the vast injustice

Eyeing a new majority, Senate Republicans are seeking to trample the immigration reform blueprint crafted by their counterparts in the House. They are careful not to criticize the substance of the House GOP’s new set of principles by simply saying the chances of crafting a new immigration law this year are remote. Should the thorny debate continue in the months ahead, it could hurt the chances of GOP senators facing primaries and jeopardize the party’s chances of winning the majority in November. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) said Tuesday that he doesn’t see any way the Democratic-controlled Senate and GOP-led House

The Congressional Budget Office estimated on Tuesday that the Affordable Care Act will reduce the number of full-time workers by 2.5 million over the next decade. That is mostly a good thing, a liberating result of the law. Of course, Republicans immediately tried to brand the findings as “devastating” and stark evidence of President Obama’s health care reform as a failure and a job killer. It is no such thing. (SNIP) The new law will free people, young and old, to pursue careers or retirement without having to worry about health coverage.

As the commentary around the recent deaths of Nelson Mandela, Amiri Baraka and Pete Seeger made abundantly clear, most of what Americans think they know about capitalism and communism is arrant nonsense. This is not surprising, given our country’s history of Red Scares designed to impress that anti-capitalism is tantamount to treason. In 2014, though, we are too far removed from the Cold War-era threat of thermonuclear annihilation to continue without taking stock of the hype we’ve been made, despite Harry Allen’s famous injunction, to believe. On March 18, 1993, after a Connecticut prosecutor declined to charge Allen after a three-month investigation of the same allegations, I interviewed him at his Fifth Ave. apartment.
