Lost me at "nice looking lady."

The ´coservative´ comment was a throw away after the Jackie O reference.

This Westwood person has to be careful lest she be branded a racist.

Westwood´s fashions are way way over the top. Lots of ruffles, mismatched patterns, slightly madhatter, crazy S&M stuff. Helena Bonham Carter wears her on the red carpet often. Can´t imagine Moochelle in a Westwood get-up. Talk about going from bad to worse.

Glad to hear that someone is finally addressing this important issue.

I am tired of hearing about trivial issues like trampling of the constitution, runaway federal spending, devaluation of the dollar, gutting the military, islamist radicals on American soil, drones killing Americans, destruction of the second amendment, etc.

Vivienne Westwood has designed really bizarro clothes for decades. Her calling someone "too conservative" would probably be a compliment. Except that Mooch´s taste is just excruciating.

I believe a hooker would be ashamed to be caught wearing this. Conservative ?

Westwood´s original claim to fame was dressing the Sex Pistols and anyone else who came into her fetish shop.

She is a bizarre looking thing who apparently lacks eyebrows. Her fashion monstrosities are equally appalling.

"nice looking lady" was a polite Brit taking the edge off what she was really saying.

´Jackie Kennedy was a different matter altogether. It just has to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous. That´s what fashion is there for. It´s there to help, not just to make you look more conservative.´

"it´s a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her" - I see this as a "what on earth would suit her?" comment. And so she backs off of commenting further.

Moochelle has no natural style or grace. She ricochets around, from teenage to ?, opting for attention-grabbing clothes (never mind that they are unflattering, ill-fitting, inappropriate for her role and/or the occasion). She changes her hair (wighats) constantly. She changes her face. She doesn´t know who she is. It shows.

Westwood´s minimal words said a mouthful.

It is dreadful what she wears, she a mature lady and dresses like some kid picked out her clothes and hasn´t a sense of what size she is.

#3 nails it. Ye gods...Westwood´s creations are hideous. I think Michelle dresses rather nicely. I´d say I like about 2/3 of her outfits. The big belt thing needs to fall by the wayside, though, and the bangs are a bit much.

#6, I had not seen that! I read a bit and scrolled down, and --- actually responded with a loud, vocal, unintended "OH!".

There have been occasions when I have thought FLOTUS has looked nice. Unfortunately, she completely obliterates those few occasions by burning our memories with these horrible choices.

Maybe it´s the angle of the shot, but, those leather pants --- she shouldn´t.

Boob belts are conservative? Who knew? Mooch would look a lot better if she chose clothing that actually fit and was flattering to her body type. She blows it every time.

Never thought I´d be defending Michelle Obama´s fashion sense, but she is the embodiment of taste and elegance next to Westwood and her bizarre, campily grotesque "fashions designs".

My favorite quote about her outfits came from a British reporter after her visit with the Queen. ´´Her clothes make me think she´s about to break into a juggling act.´´

Vivienne sounds like real charmer.

Vivienne Westwood should send The Mooch some frocks. Anything would be an improvement!

Sorry, but Moochelle´s body shape always reminds me of those articles in National Geographic that we´d always sneak peeks at in the doctor´s office.
And most times, the clothing she wears looks like she fell through an awning.

Re #6, those were not leather trousers. Those were metallic tights, and not opaque ones either. You can see her underpants through them. And note the places where they are wrinkled and in folds.

Westwood may dress terribly...however, what she regarding the bow-legged amazon is point on. This big muscular woman deliberately wears clothes that are too tight, too short, never wears pantyhose or stockings, wears thongs that show through pants when´s she´s photographed, she doesn´t walk, she stomps and she sits on stages with her thunder thighs crossed. In general, she gives the world the finger every time she shows up wearing one of her inappropriate choices while, in so many words, tells the world she can break all the rules and we can take it or leave it. She looks like a female version of the incredible hulk.

By way of comparison: the lovely young Kate Middleton who dresses beautifully, tastefully, and conducts herself like a lady with flawless manners. Can anyone imagine Kate, Laura Bush, or any other lady dropping to the floor and doing pushups while representing America, or holding a bag race with a comedian in the East Room of our White House?

At least she isn´t wearing ´street walking´ attire that the designers come up with!

The last two paragraphs are odd. The media is always telling the world Kate wears clothing not only twice, but when and where she wore something before.

Too many of the neuvo riche don´t have their own style or any class. Somebody has to tell them what to wear while making money off of them-and laughing.
