| John S. McCain III, the disastrous Republican 2008 candidate who suspended his presidential campaign and refused to take the fight to Barack Obama when he had the chance to actually do something for his country, has beclowned himself yet again: Highlighting the discord among Republicans over President Barack Obama’s targeted killings policy, two prominent GOP senators, John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, took to the Senate floor to criticize Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s 12-hour filibuster Wednesday…

What can I say about John McCain? Yes, he suffered and fought for our country, and I am proud of him for that. But John is and has been pretty much a RINO in sheeps clothing. His last election he morphed into a good ole´ boy with Tea Party leanings. Once elected, he went back to his old RINO ways. Yes John, it is time for and old military man to just "fade away".

I have never heard Senator McCain employee such harsh criticism of the other party! This is why I hate this guy. He thinks this kind if "stunt" will make him appear above the fray because he criques his own, but it only enrages guys like me. I remember he promised as he was nominated as the Republican presidential candidate to "fight, fight, fight," then he proceeded to criticize those who berated Obama, the Democratic candidate, and assure us that we had nothing to fear from an Obama presidency! If you "judgement" is no more deep than that, I would think he would have the decency to shut the hell up!

If we just keep complaining to each other on Lucianne it isn´t anything but "preaching to the choir". DO IT! How dare Mr. McCain malign Senator Paul. I would think that he would value our Constitutional rights a little more since he has first hand knowledge and experience of what its like to be deprived of these rights. He was a victim of absolute power. I don´t undestand the vitriole. He owes Senator Paul an apology. We´re all waiting to hear it.

Not only are they an embarrassment, but every day the RNC is silent on their behavior, every day the RNC refuses to call them out, is another day the RNC does not earn my donation. Hey RNC...how do you like NOT having money donated to your organization? Hey RNC, how do you like having life long republicans walking away from you and the party? Flush these two whining RINOs. I went through flight training with McCain. He was looked at then as a wiseguy, not particularly bright, perhaps privilaged, reflecting on his dad and grandfather who were both admirals. He crashed two planes in training and if it were not for his lineage he would have served out his comission doing something other than flyng. If he had not been at the Hanoi Hilton you would have never heard of him. There is nothing distinguished in his legislative record. Its time for him to spend more time in Cottonwood, AZ though it may be 8-10 years too late.

We need to do to the Republican party, what the liberal activists did to the Democratic party in 1968. We need to take it over, from the grass-roots level, kick the dinosaurs out (which the liberals now praise - except when they were running against their preferred candidate), and begin to organize civil disobedience on the campuses challenging the professors exactly like they were challenged (and caved) in the mid to late 60s.

There is a long list of legitimate war heroes who have gone into politics and squandered the opportunity.
It is fine to honor his Vietnam service, but politically a legitimate question is "John, what have you done for us lately?"
Dozens (hundreds?) of little across-the-isle sellouts have piled up in his trash basket (read basket of his trash) - most notably McCain Feingold.
But he crossed the Rubicon with his decision to openly character assassinate any legitimate conservative republican who opposes the "establishment."
The RINO faction that McCain (and Graham) represent is just as committed to preserving the flood of taxpayer money as their fellow progressives in the democratic party.

And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

President Obama is eager to build public support for his health care overhaul in the few months remaining before its implementation, but waning enthusiasm from Democrats threatens his effort right out of the gate. Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The president has long struggled to convince independent and Republican-leaning voters that his health care blueprint would lower premiums and expand insurance coverage.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

SANFORD - Trayvon Martin´s parents have settled a wrongful death claim for an amount believed to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed. Their attorney, Benjamin Crump, filed that paperwork at the Seminole County Courthouse, a portion of which was made public today.
