| Out of respect for President Hugo Chavez, Venezuelan-owned oil refinery Citgo flew its flags at half staff outside its Houston and Lake Charles, La., offices Wednesday, sparking outcry from drivers passing by. (Snip) U.S. protocol allows for flags to be lowered for foreign dignitaries and Post recognized Citgo´s right to do so as a private company. How many countries are there left in the world that aren´t ran by socialistic dunces and it´ll get worse because unemployment is bad everywhere. That´s the whole idea,make people depend on government.
If you look at China,there´s an upper echelon of people making out like bandits while the average person barely scrapes by. They have countless homes and building space sitting empty due to misguided stimulus projects,that don´t empower the little guy.
If Obama had the same size wallet as China,we´d have a slew of white elephant government projects all over.A handful of people would benefit while the majority would be doing another run to Coin Star.
Chavez was a dunce, misguided leader but I don´t think he was evil.Now Obama is pure evil,personified.The White House is owned by the government or theoretically the people of this country. Obama has no business shutting it down over a petty partisan fight.

Wyoming Republican Sen. Mike Enzi may be gearing up to run for re-election in 2014, but that doesn’t mean Liz Cheney is ruling out a run for the Senate seat now. A source close to the politically active daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney tells The Daily Caller that she is still seriously considering running. North Korea appears to be preparing a fourth underground nuclear weapons test at Punggye-ri, the site of its previous test, a South Korean government source says. Shanghai & Hong Kong - China said it was mobilizing resources nationwide to combat a new strain of bird flu that has killed six people, as Japan and Hong Kong stepped up vigilance and the United States said it was closely monitoring the situation. All of the 14 reported infections from the H7N9 bird flu strain have been in eastern China and at least four of the six dead are in the financial hub of Shanghai, a city of 20 million people.
