I don´t agree,we still have a silent majority in this country,the problem is getting them politically active.
The left has slews of privately funded activist groups which are probably funded by recycled government money into foundations. We don´t have that outside the tea parties,who I hope show up in droves in next year´s elections but they seemed no where to be found in this last election.

The Republicans need to find some way of exposing and prosecuting election fraud, and preventing it in the future. The democrats sure aren´t going to expose it. There is ample evidence that it is occurring, and not in small numbers.

I don´t trust the American voter. Haven´t since they re-elected B.J. But the real blame for the loss goes to Bush 41.
He is a Big Government Republican. And Conservatives didn´t trust him.
Bush 43 (God love & protect him) saved us from the terrorists but acted, domestically, like a Big Government Republican. And Conservatives didn´t trust him. But given the alternatives...
And Romney, a truly good man, was another Big Government Republican. De facto. Look at his record in MA. And Conservatives didn´t trust him and, it appears, many stayed home...if true, not a good move.
So why shouldn´t blacks, who seem to view politics as intramural sports not lie, cheat & steal to win?
And young people, who are ´´squishy´´ in their political views anyway, not fall for the false gods of liberalism. What REALITY have the flaccid Republicans offered them.
As for the Hispanics, the Republicans seem to be just trying to outbid the democrats for their vote. Muchas gracias gringo!

BOSTON — The families of those who lost loved ones and individuals who suffered double amputations or permanent brain damage in the Boston Marathon bombing would receive the highest payments from a fund created to help people injured in the twin blasts, according to a draft proposal of payouts from the One Fund Boston, which has already taken in more than $28 million in donations. The fund administrator, Kenneth Feinberg, unveiled the draft proposal at a public meeting Monday at the Boston Public Library, across the street from the bombing site.

We have seen in the Boston bombings case how terrorists depend on a network of sympathizers. But the Russian connection remains a mystery. The press should follow up on the Russian angle to the Islamic terrorist bombers story before President Obama gets carried away with cooperating with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The assumption by the media that the former KGB officer is genuinely interested in helping the U.S. solve its Islamic terrorism problem should be subjected to scrutiny. After all, al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has been identified by KGB defectors as a Russian agent.

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results.
