Boehner Plans to Permit and Fund
Obama´s Attack on Religious Freedom

Cybercast News Service, by Terence P. Jeffrey

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/6/2013 10:50:03 AM

When the Obama administration finalized its regulation requiring health care plans to provide cost-free coverage for sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs, House Speaker John Boehner — as this column noted last year — was one of those who correctly argued that the regulation was an attack on religious freedom and that Congress must not let it stand. On Wednesday, in craven contradiction to that position, Boehner plans to lead the Republican-controlled House in enacting a continuing resolution that will fund the government for the rest of fiscal 2013 and

Comments:
I just can´t believe this. Boehner stands up to 0bama on some things and then folds like a cheap card table on this. As stated in the article he is ´taking a hard line against foreign-made ball bearings´ but not religious freedom. It´s just breathtaking what is happening in Washington.

Looking at this positively... Boehner has to pick fights he thinks he can win. A CR that defunds Obamacare will not pass the Senate and then we are in a namecalling, fingerpointing fight over a government shutdown. With the press in Obama´s pocket, the GOP loses this fight.

The sequester battle seems to be a win for the GOP so far. We have yet to see the press trotting out "victims" (who would be victims of any cuts in government spending) but it is looking good so far.

The debt limit is the next fight that the GOP might be able to win. I am going to give Boehner this one but if he walks away from the debt limit fight, I agree that he is simply not the man for the job.

These scurilous attacks on leading Republicans need to stop!
Unless we Conservatives can stand solidly behind our leaders like Boehner especially, we on the Right are sunk.
Terence Jeffrey and others needs to un-form the circular GOP firing squad and stand together against the 0bama-led Left.

He said after the SC ruling that Obamacare was the law of the land and I guess he means to implement and enforce. What an idiot we have as Speaker. Merger of the two parties continues unabated.

Do the House Republicans control the Federal Purse Strings or not? MY reading of our US Constitution says they Do! However, Boehner and his band of merry miscreants have yet to remove funding from any agencies or programs. I do not regret for one minute leaving the republican party nor speaking out against their lame brained programs....

Boehner and the repubs are pathetic and cave all the time...no surprise here. There is no hope for the GOP as it stands. They will continue to cave and continue to lose, but in their mind they think people won´t blame them or maybe even like them. They are as disgusting as demos. Folks, take a look at where this country stands right now...enough said.

First of all, those folks who defend the likes of Bonehead Boehner, should not call themselves conservative, as they are anything BUT.

Also, name ONE thing on which Bonehead stood his ground to the end, and did not cave to Obama and the dems. Just one.

Finally, these clowns in the majority in the house, gave Bush a "spend recklessly" card, and then gave Obama one with an even HIGHER limit.

The most worthless human beings in America.

Name one thing that Boehner has done as Speaker that wasn´t Conservative: you cannot.

Secondly, I´ve seen the Speaker stand firm on the sequester and not give in to 0bama´s tremendous pressure of public whining and threats.

The Democrat Congress elected in 2006 was the one that did all the spending.
Not a single Republican in either the House or the Senate voted for 0bamaCare.
President Bush had cut the deficit in half to 200 Billion until the Wall St./"housing crisis" hit.

WHAT can be more important than cutting off funding?

I love it.. Boehner is a Caveman. How can we have any hope he will stand up in the debt ceiling fight when he sidesteps this continuing resolution fight when it is in obvious alignment with the first amendment. Many americans of faith stand with the Catholic Church on this even though they are not members. Freedom of religion is an individual right and Obama should not get away with limiting it to worship services only. Obama´s statement at the UN re slander of the prophet of Islam shows he is ready to override freedom of speech to establish Islamic law. Every part of the first amendment - coercion to act against your faith, establishment of an alien religion and abridging the freedom of speech - would be shredded if Obama has his way!

~ Name one thing that Boehner has done as Speaker that wasn´t Conservative: you cannot. ~

I can.

Boehner passed a tax increase at a time when we desperately need government to cut its spending.

He passed a pork laden ´Sandy relief´ bill at a time when we desperately need government to cut spending.

He gave the White House another year to continue its un-constitutional operation without a debt limit at a time when we desperately need government to cut spending.

He removed three fiscally conservative legislators - who were working to cut government spending - from their committees, at a time when we desperately need government to cut spending.

Given the traditional definition of conservative as less government - more Constitution, all of the above fall under the heading of ´not Consrvative´.
