Rand Paul, R-Ky., is blasting Attorney General Eric Holder´s assertion that the government could conceivably use drones against its own citizens in the U.S. as "frightening," saying such an action would violate the Constitution. Paul was responding to comments by Holder released Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee approved the nomination of John Brennan, President Obama´s pick to be his next C.I.A. Director. Paul said in a statement obtained by Fox News that Holder sent him two letters regarding the constitutionality of the use of legal force such as drones against Americans

Holder seriously needs to be locked up himself. From selling guns to Mexican drug cartels (so he could try and pin the blame on US citizens in order to build a case for restricting their gun ´rights´), to out and out demonstrated *racism* for refusing to follow thru on the Black Panther´s voter intimidation case - which was *ALREADY WON* when he refused to perform his duties...
This man interjects the term ´farce´ into the concept of justice at every available opportunity.
Surely at some point - Congress will get around to actually punishing him for his actions.
Oh wait - he´s already the only AG in US history to be found guilty of both civil and criminal contempt of Congress...
So apparently the reason he can´t be held accountable - is his race?

The problem isn´t the concept or the policy, it´s the people we trust (or not) to carry it out. Of course one can conceive of a situation in which a US citizen of foreign extraction, or groups of citizens such as an alquaeda sleeper cell, has issued a threat to the US (dirty bomb? suitcase nuke?) that might justify taking them out at any cost to save millions of American lives, and sorting out the legal niceties afterward. It is the question of whether a US fighter pilot should have, if he could have, shot down one of the planes that hit the WTC. Tough questions do not generate answers that fit on a bumper sticker.
I´m sorry, but Rand Paul is getting tiresome, a stone rattling around in an empty bucket. And for all his bluster today, if it came up for a vote tomorrow, would he vote to APPROVE it anyway, like he did Hagel?

Sorry for the second post, but the rest of the thought is this: we do not trust that the current administration views radical islamic groups like alquaeda as the enemies of the US, especially since they have already indicated that they view American veterans, the Tea Party, Ssecond Amendment advocates, and other ordinary American citizens as THEIR enemies. THAT is the problem. We don´t trust that it won´t be turned on us, and we are probably right to feel that way. The evidence is certainly there.

It´s hard to conceive of an arrest with a drone. Holder to explain, after he finishes explaining his exemption from Congressional subpoena. Then Holder might explain why Al Queda held at Guantanamo, and illegals, have more rights than U.S. citizens. Holder, as he has told everyone, is black, and has been discriminated against and victimized by giving him a free education, law degree, lifetime benefits, and federal job, is mad because of his mistreatment, and is exempt from constitutional constraints.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise.
