Let’s starve! Kids forced to go
hungry for hours during Michelle
Obama media event

Daily Caller, by Eric Owens

Original Article

Posted By:Hooverdog, 3/5/2013 3:33:31 PM

A very courageous fifth-grade teacher in the Chicago Public Schools has written a scathing critique of the almost comical misery she and her students endured when they participated in a massive February 28 event kicking off Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Active Schools campaign. The First Lady’s campaign is an effort to improve (and in some cases, bring back) physical education in American schools. White House officials called the event “a groundbreaking, earth-shattering, awesomely-inspiring day.” Lisa Putnam and her fifth grades most certainly did not experience the event the same way, however.

Obvious that not one person on MO´s staff has a young child. From before the first school bell to well after 1:30 was a long time to keep a kid from eating. Her staff must´ve thought just the sheer anticipation of seeing her would eliminate hunger pangs.

FTA: When Michelle Obama finally came out, she didn’t face the children.
“She was facing the media,” reports Putnam.
What followed was a bunch of exercising. Recall, though, that the kids were
instructed not to bring any food.
“They were dropping like flies,...”

I´m quite sure this was how events for Elena Ceausescu were planned, organized and conducted. I understand reasonable security measures, but not feeding or watering 10-year olds for 6+ hours is beyond the pale. In he end we´re all just props for King Barack and Queeen Mooch.

Why couldn´t energy drinks have been supplied by a sponsor?
The kids would have been perky during the entertainment portion that way.
Ohhh... Free enterprise... that´s right... can´t let that happen... corporations & all...

Lesson for Today --
This is what happens when Kommunist, er, oops, Kommunity Agitators seize kontrol...

Wouldn´t it be interesting to get a menu of what Mooch consumed in the same time period that the kids were being left hungry and thirsty. There must be a record somewhere of what was served on AF2.

At that time, starvation was only for the Jews. But Michelle believes in spreading the pain around equally, with no child left behind.

It is not just Markos of Daily Kos infamy claiming the Left has won the culture war. The Week´s Matt Lewis is saying the same. Yeah, they are both kinda trolling. So ´scuse me while I take the bait. Let´s start with the biggie: same-sex marriage. Yes, polls show gay marriage is breaking out all over, but when put to a vote same-sex marriage has lost (even in California) much more often than not. Furthermore, gay marriage is not being legalized through popular opinion or demand, it is being legalized through activist judges. There is no question that attitudes have

Is Texas Gov. Rick Perry “sitting pretty” for 2016 as one journalist put it, or is another presidential run likely to be a flop, a campaign that barely gets off the ground? At the Conservative Political Action Conference gathering last month, Perry showed that he can still deliver a stem-winder. And at a Fort Hood news conference after the shooting, he showed the maturity and calm that voters will look for in a presidential contender: “There aren’t any easy answers to what occurred here, and there’s no way to wish away the suffering that’s occurring. The 300,000-member union that was the first to endorse then-Senator Barack Obama has released a devastating Obamacare report that says Obama´s controversial healthcare program will slash worker wages by up to $5 an hour, reduce worker hours, and exacerbate income inequality. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent.
