Racist Incidents Stun Campus
and Halt Classes at Oberlin

The New York Times, by Richard Pérez-Peña and Trip Gabriel

Original Article

Posted By:PChristopher, 3/5/2013 5:38:20 AM

Oberlin College, known as much for ardent liberalism as for academic excellence, canceled classes on Monday and convened a “day of solidarity” after the latest in a monthlong string of what it called hate-related incidents and vandalism. At an emotional gathering in the packed 1,200-seat campus chapel, the college president, Marvin Krislov, apologized on behalf of the college to students who felt threatened by the incidents and said classes were canceled for “a different type of educational exercise,” one intended to hold “an honest discussion, even a difficult discussion.”

Comments:
This sounds like the doings of skinheads but, be that as it may, did liberals really think they could go on and on with their agendas without there being some sort of backlash?

Now if this had been limited to just graffiti where no one was spotted doing it, well...
But a single individual in a white robe spotted outside Afrikan Heritage House and no one has been caught somehow just doesn´t smell right.
Stuff like this is never just ignored. It always results in demonstrations, speeches, classes and lots of press coverage. I could be wrong, but there is the possibility that it was set up...but then that would probably be considered racist so I won´t propose that.
Did I just say that out loud?

There was nobody walking around campus in a white robe, and the graffiti was scrawled by left-wing students trying to stir the pot. Guaranteed. And it worked.

What? No nooses made out of twine and hung on peoples´ doors, like happened at Columbia? (and was later determined to have been done by a black woman unhappy about ot recving tenure)
Or scratching the n-word on cars and otherwise vandalising them? (as was done at a university in Washington by another black lady).
This is clearly a fraud, just like the others. Yeah...America is soooo raaaaacist that it elected Barky---twice!

According to The Guardian (the left-wing U.K. paper), the "Klansman" was a student who happened to be wrapped in a white blanket.

As far as the graffiti are concerned...yup, someone was disappointed that there were no incidents of racism on the Oberlin campus, so decided to create an incident of racism in order to draw attention to the problem of racism on the Oberlin campus. Got it?

About ten years ago I witnessed an incident where a small group of women students claimed to have been sexually assaulted on campus. They hadn´t been, but they wanted to draw attention to the problem of sexual violence against woman on campus.

The odds are that this is phony, but whatever the truth, there is no doubt that it was depressingly easy to spook the herd. These pathetic sheep and their shepherds panic and head for the safety of their corral the moment they even suspect someone says boo! to them. The cost of this self-indulgent, morally lazy self-righteousness is high and includes the failure to develop a real backbone. The jelly in their spines cannot keep them upright unless they remain closely packed together. They are sissies.

"Victims" of past events spend a month trying to tell the rest of US why they are so special every year instead of assimilating into the American culture of capitalism. They then take from US what we have earned and demand more.

BTW, the girl in the pink "native" garb should know that her parents may be getting a letter saying their daughter is fat, not "phat." After all, this is a liberal college and they are all about social engineering.

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle. Michael Parker and Flora Chang, at Sanford Bernstein, say we entering a new order of "global energy deflation" that must ineluctably erode the viability of oil, gas and the fossil fuel nexus over time.
