Barack Obama: The Man
Behind the Mask

American Thinker, by Steve McCann

Original Article

Posted By:DW626, 3/4/2013 5:30:13 AM

Sixty-three months ago Barack Obama officially declared his candidacy for President. Only now are some among the so-called media and ruling elites in America slowly awakening from their self-induced infatuation and beginning to understand who he is. It has become difficult to ignore the overt intimidation, demagoguery and deliberate falsehoods spewed forth by Obama relative to sequestration -- a miniscule cut in the growth of federal spending. However, any cursory examination of his past reveals that these tactics are second nature to the man who currently occupies the Oval Office.

All this bozo and his traveling demonrats care about is enriching themselves at the expense of everyone else. They could care less about the country so long as they get theirs.

I´m not the smartest tack in the box but I was saying this long before he was elected. All you have to do is look at his past record.

And from his own lips his christianity is a sham.

Barack Obama is someone who would willingly inflict pain and suffering on the American people in order to permanently destroy his political enemies and accumulate near dictatorial power for the government he controls.

He has a huge support system in place, beginning with Valerie Jarrett and continuing through the Courts, the Justice Dept. and his Administration -- radicals all. Without a conscience to his name, it is easy, nay sadistic, to destroy anyone who comes between him and absolute power.

If those currently in power in the United States succeed in eliminating any opposition and continue to inexorably increase their control of the government through their tyrannical tactics, aided and abetted by the media, the sycophants in the ruling class and the entertainment complex, there will inevitably be uncontrolled violence and upheaval within America´s borders. The nation´s standard of living will drop precipitously; there will be an irrevocable loss of freedom and ultimately the imposition of foreign influence over a once proud nation.

I cannot believe Steve doesn´t see all this happening right now. I can see it. The only thing missing is "uncontrolled violence". For now, it´s somewhat controlled, except in Chicago. But let us never forget Obama´s promise to form a "civilian police force with the same resources and power as the military." (not the exact words, but close enough.)

Even the Left is beginning to crack. Some, those who have one remaining shred of integrity, are starting to speak out. The problem is that they are speaking out not because they see the dangers Obama presents, but because they´ve been snubbed -- some members of the White House Press Corps, for example.

The new blame game, which the msm will fully participate in, is that when the economy falters again this time it won´t be Bush´s fault but the sequestration cuts forced on poor little barry by those mean Republicans who hate women, children and all minorities. He is working so hard to fix things but those Republicans just won´t help him because he is black and they are racists. Good grief the msm should be tarred and feathered and run out of town.

Excellent article - so grateful that it is a Must Read!

On a note of hope, I have been substitute teaching in two or three high schools where the history classes are watching the movie Schlindler´s List. The kids then write reports or do projects about the movie. In the Obama age, Schlindler´s List just may be what helps to keep young people from falling down the dark hole of a dictatorship. My generation had The Diary of Anne Frank to show the horror of Hitler.

Thankfully, American kids haven´t had to worry about a Hitler type usurping power in the USA, but we are perilously close with Obama and his thugocracy. The following quote FTA should jolt Americans who participated in the 2008 presidential electon and helped to bring Obama to power:
Nearly all the tyrants of the recent past had a unique capacity to mesmerize a large swath of the populace through ability to deliver a speech and create a cult of personality, aided and abetted by a media...

As soothing as it might be to think that a few media elites are beginning to have qualms over some of the results of the Obama presidency, the fact remains that the MSM is deeply invested in this man, both organizationally and at very personal levels. Simply raising a concern over an Obama policy or pronouncement can cause you trouble in the work place and is certain to get you barred from the best Georgetown parties. Though a few elites may occasionally look and behave like beaten wives, they are not going to abandon their man.

The MSM won´t turn against Obama because they are intellectual light weights too ill-equipped to fend off his snake oil charm. The lack of intellectual rigor in J-Schools today, epitomized by the execrable Columbia, has poisoned journalism for a generation. The current cohort of social activist crusaders masquerading as serious journalists have no clue what rigorous investigative reporting is, and are too undisciplined and steeped in sloth and to do it if they tried.

Is he kidding? Does anyone...do you, dear Lposters, think it makes a stinking bit of difference what this man, Barry, does?

In 2015 Stephie the Greek will ask a Repub candidate why he wants to ban The Pill, and the man won´t know what the h he´s talkking about, and the election will be lost. Do you not know this?

FTA: "What makes this belief system so popular among those who harbor megalomaniacal tendencies is the core tenet that the end justifies the means. With that simple phrase any tactic is permissible under the rubric that the true believers are pre-ordained to govern the people. Thus no lie is too egregious to tell, no strategy to destroy one´s political enemies is out of bounds, and the creation of false crises and faux enemies is not only legitimate but essential."

One of my favorite quotes out of many from this article. Excuse me while I pass it along. If we don´t try and get the truth out, it will not be known. The media will make sure of it and the Republicans are seemingly unwilling to go on the offensive. If this country is saved, it will be by the people. Our party has failed us.

#8, the genesis for the fury of enlightened German youth after WWI was the belief, furthered by the cowardly Kaiser and the German press, that traitorous Jews were responsible for the loss of WWI and the thorough humiliation of Germany at Versailles. The Jews simply had to be destroyed as enemies of a nobler Mankind. Compare that to what today´s youth is taught about Republicans, gun-owners, Christians, Jews, suburbanites, the wealthy, tea party sympathizers, etc. Hatred and evil can visit any generation.

I´ve said before that behind the big joker smile lives a cold and angry man. I´ve jokingly called him a Black Panther with a law degree. He and the missus are still filled with the 60´s rage that gave us Huey Newton and Angela Davis. They vented their rage at the "man" (white of course). But now Obama is the "man". What now? He often laments that he is not a dictator. This is a fact... If he wins the house he will de facto become one. Where then will he go to vent his rage?

Steve is a softie, afraid of the truth, just dances around the core. It´s all about communism, Stalin, Hitler, and he won´t mention those words. These reckless, ruthless agitators are destroying as much as they can destroy, as quickly as they can destroy. Enough of New Media sees it, Andrew saw it, spoke ludly, but he´s dead. James David Manning, black preacher says, "he was wacked". But all of old Tom Brokaw, Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Steve Pelley, 60 Minutes Ministry, the whole, huge mafia media support it and are blind to all the crime being perptrated now.
The road from Puglosi, Reid, Obama socalism, to Stalinist Soviet Communism, is a short one. Time to wake up and smell the stink.

Please! Can we finally at least put to rest the tired, worn out and, most importantly, incorrect cliché, “America’s First Black President”?

He is America’s First Gray President.

Contrary to the conventional so-called wisdom which has been “out there” for more than four years, Barack Hussein Obama is America’s first gray, not black, president. 50% black + 50% white = 100% gray. Or even Mulatto, if you prefer. So, can we finally clear that up and get it out of the way? Thank you!

I´ve never been more concerned for this country and am torn between wanting to be very informed and just going underground and putting my head in the sand. It´s so tiresome that those of us who see the writing on the wall are called conspiracy theorists, the tin foil hat brigade and worse. 0bama is behaving just like many dictators in the past and we have a media who is complicit in our demise because they idolize the tyrant 0bama way too much. The leftists have had years and years to put in place all the pieces they need to bring us down. How I wish we had conservatives who were awake long ago and could have protected us from this disaster.

But, we can´t give up. I know you won´t. We need to think, "We have only begun to fight." We must call Congressmen, encourge them, exhort them.

#s29 and 32: i took a (nauseating) tripdown memory lane into 2008, zeroed in on July 2, 2008 where BO is giving a nearly half-hour speech.

Sixteen or so minutes in is where he makes the infamous remark about needing a "civilian national security force that´s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military, "in order to achieve the national security objectives."

(I revisited americanthinker.com Archives for 2008, so many excellent articles, and so many reminders of how much was known, and yet ignored. Take your strongest anti-nausea meds or a stiff drink before doing likewise...)

Please forgive the second post, however this article has bothered me and I kept trying to think why and I did a search on a well know dictator. Here is a quote:

"youth participation on large construction projects as part of their "patriotic work"; an intensification of political-ideological education in schools and universities, as well as in children´s, youth and student organizations; and an expansion of political propaganda, orienting radio and television shows to this end, as well as publishing houses...."

This is written about Nicolae Ceau?escu. Do these methods look familiar?? Those who do not see 0bama as a threat to this nation do so at their own peril.

Obama was, is and always will be two things: inept and a coward. He lacks real knowledge of anything outside the privileged elitist life he has lead and the ridiculously liberal institutions of ´learning´ he spent his developmental years in. He has no idea that there really are evil people, people intent on death and mayhem. He has no conception that his beloved islam is often perverted into a system of slavery and death. He is clueless and dangerous and the only people with less real world understanding than he, are the blind lemmings that voted for him.

Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A spade certainly is a garden implement, but if you are in the gardening

The “I’m shocked, shocked” line from Casablanca is too much a cliché to carry any -- umm -- shock value, but surely it fits Putin’s actions against Ukraine. But the civilized world, mainly the Anglosphere, has long shown its utter indifference to human life by ignoring mass killings on a scale surpassed only by the Nazis and the Communists in the last century. More than a hundred thousand in Syria and still going on; perhaps a million or more in North Korea; millions in Africa, uncounted tens of thousands or more in Iran. The one place we intervened was Iraq, with

This week President Obama, following a long string of bloopers that the media underplays or ignores, spelled respect "R-S-P-E-C-T´". It was a fitting blunder in a week in which he and America´s left wing took a series of pratfalls. To start off, Medea Benjamin, master media manipulator and water carrier for countless leftist tyrants, winged into Cairo apparently to lend her inestimable support to the Moslem Brotherhood. The Egyptian government treated her less courteously than did the Democrat legislators who regularly let her and her pinko buddies disrupt Congressional hearings. In one instance her team, which had certainly been invited in by Democrats

When Paul Audley took the job as president of FilmL.A. in late 2008, he was astounded to discover that physical production on the $70 million pic “Battle: Los Angeles” wasn’t being done in Los Angeles.“It stunned me that the movie was shooting in Louisiana, and that the state of California was letting this happen,” he recalls. In the subsequent five years, the situation has only worsened, despite the film production incentive program California enacted in 2009, which provides for $100 million a year in tax credits for what’s usually 20% of production costs. That’s significantly smaller than programs offered by other

Nothing better depicted Obama´s illegal tampering with the clear words of ObamaCare -- his announcement this week that he was delaying the employer mandate for medium-sized companies -- than Michael Ramirez´ brilliant cartoon showing the law as a blank page in which Obama had continually changed its words and meaning. Along similar lines, Charles Krauthammer observes: But generally speaking you get past the next election by changing your policies, by announcing new initiatives, but not by wantonly changing the law lawlessly. This is stuff you do in a banana republic. It´s as if the law is simply a blackboard on which Obama

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. Sometimes it takes only a year of less than expected earnings to result in the termination of a corporate CEO. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. A long list of problems -- especially one suggesting even a hint of fraud -- that fails to generate a satisfactory board response would stir shareholders and lenders to demand the resignation of not only the CEO and other key employees,

This week the big story was the tag end of the old JournoList gang trying to spin gold out of the dross of the Congressional Budget Report. The CBO report projected that by 2021 under ObamaCare more than 2 million full-time workers will find it financially advisable to quit work entirely or switch to part-time jobs in order to get more subsidies for healthcare insurance. To most of us who studied real economics or just paid attention to human nature, subsidizing indolence means you´ll get more of it. But to the airheads on the left and their JournoList spinmasters -- the

This week to an ever-diminishing audience President Obama outlined a pedestrian plan for the remainder of this year, amidst the usual hornswoggle of invited guests in the gallery and dubious daytime TV style anecdotal stories of their lives. More popular than ever is the wish that we could return to State of the Union messages being delivered on paper to Congress. In the meantime my friend Ignatz, the genius Sultan Knish (Daniel Greenfield) and even Vladimir Putin offered up some sage observations which underscore the rot at the heart of the administration and his party and the likely consequences of their

Attorney General Eric Holder exploded at Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert during a House hearing Tuesday. In the midst of questions about the Justice Department’s failure to divulge documents about the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial, Gohmert made a side comment about how the House of Representatives found Holder in contempt in 2012 for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal. “I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Gohmert said. “You don’t want to go there, buddy! A few weeks ago, the liberal comedian Bill Maher and conservative strategist and pundit Bill Kristol had a brief spat on Maher’s HBO show, putatively over what instigated the tea party but ultimately over the psychic wound that has divided red America and blue America in the Obama years. The rise of the tea party, explained Maher in a let’s-get-real moment, closing his eyes for a second the way one does when saying something everybody knows but nobody wants to say, “was about a black president.” Both Maher and Kristol carry themselves with a weary cynicism that allows them to

A married freshman Republican congressman who campaigned on his Christian, conservative values apologized Monday after surveillance video surfaced purportedly showing him in a lengthy liplock with a staffer. In the Dec. 23 footage, obtained by a local newspaper, Rep. Vance McAllister, R-La. - who ahead of his election last fall ran multiple campaign ads trumpeting his faith and family - is seen kissing and embracing a woman for about 20 seconds at his Monroe, La., district office. The Ouachita Citizen reports the woman is the congressman´s 33-year-old part-time scheduler, who is also married.

The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee says investigators have uncovered evidence that a former Internal Revenue Service official may have committed crimes as part of the agency´s tea party controversy. Rep. Dave Camp set a committee vote for Wednesday on whether to refer Lois Lerner, who used to head the agency´s tax-exempt division, to the Justice Department "for possible criminal prosecution." Camp, R-Mich., did not specify which laws Lerner may have broken. Lerner´s lawyer, William W. Taylor III, has said she broke no laws. On Monday, Taylor emailed this response to Camp´s announcement: "One word: Ridiculous." Camp´s committee has been investigating

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but

As the House prepares for several key votes on former Internal Revenue Service employee Lois G. Lerner and potential legal action, analysts say she and her attorney have mishandled their case by picking and choosing when they want to talk, and to whom they are willing to talk. Ms. Lerner faces a vote in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday that could begin the process of accusing her of contempt of Congress. The Ways and Means Committee announced that it will hold a vote Wednesday on whether to officially accuse Ms. Lerner of breaking the law by

My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally
