Obama just wants to
watch the world burn

Washington Times, by Joseph Curl

Original Article

“Some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.” — The Joker in “The Dark Knight” No one can continue to assert that President Obama is simply incompetent. Yes, he is indeed that. Into his fifth year as president, America is worse under his command: Millions are still out of work — unemployment stands exactly where it was the day he took office; millions more are on food stamps; and despite his claim otherwise, the U.S. is less respected

And wherever I go, no matter who I talk to, there is the same malaise as there was during the Carter years..even worse.
People have lost the American Pride.
The schools have failed miserably for the last 40 years. They have killed the American spirit. "These are the times that try men´s souls".
This what it must have felt like to grow up in Moscow during the 50s.

Scary stuff. It has taken 4 years for the GOP to belatedly stand up to Obama and his fiscal follies while Obama and his Media minions have painted the GOP, in the minds of the general public, as the bad guys in this sad tale. The die is cast and is it too late to prevent the collapse of our (and the World´s) economies? It´s going to take some VERY strong backbone stiffening on the part of the GOP to stop this train wreck.

The World burns while the US has 2 parties feeding and fanning the flames. The Statists ie: Democrats and the Neo Statists ie: Republicans.

Who needs enemies when "The State" is against its own citizenry? You would think history (Rome anybody?) would be enough, but I suppose that would only apply if history was actually being taught anymore.

Liberalism and multiculturalism and PC (but I repeat myself) will be the end of civilized society.

Obama doesn´t want to watch the entire world burn, just the United States, Israel, and any other nation with even a vestige of individual freedom left.

Obama certainly wants to see the Muslim Brotherhood succeed in resurrecting a worldwide Islamic Caliphate, especially if it results in millions of dead Jews....

....and he most certainly wants to see China and Russia succeed in supplanting the United States as economic and military world powers.

Hooray for despotism.

Hooray for Islamofascism.

Hooray for totalitarian Communism.

All hail Wise King Barky.

Obama and the msm will use the sequester to explain why the economy tanks later this year and blame the Republicans for it. The lo-fo votes will of course believe all the economic troubles are due to the sequester spending cuts by the Republicans no matter if it´s only pennies in comparison to the total spending budget. The msm has become the enemy within.

Unfortunately, it´s worse than that. He´s not merely satisfied with watching it burn, he´s pouring gasoline on it and tossing lit matches on it. The fact that this guy was again elected President of the United States is the most shocking act of stupidity I´ve ever seen in my lifetime.

Who would have ever thought that the more people that leave the workforce, the better the unemployment numbers are for the administrations.Even if you foolishly take Obama´s word on creating 6 million new jobs, there´s been at least 8 million jobs that are lost. So the real world unemployment is a lot worse than the media lapdogs report.

The only way Obama thinks the economy can be fixed is borrow trillions more from China to create make work government workers.

One of their ideas to fix climate change is for the government to underwrite the costs of buying people new "energy efficient" appliances. This idea might work to some degree if the appliances were still made in this country but a lot of that industry went to Mexico.Does anybody believe that GE would make appliances in this country?

Instead of these morons creating the conditions to insource jobs, they set up a slush fund for when union members lose their jobs that have gone overseas.Hostess jobs didn´t go overseas but they cashed in on this taxpayer funded slush fund anyway.

The photoshop of Obama as the joker was over the target. No wonder democrats raised such a wail and sent out friendly police to stop it. If we were to coin a new term to describe their destructive behavior, it would definitely end in "maniac".

I wish that people were reminded daily of just how much a trillion is. G Gordon Liddy insisted ( back when we were just talking billions) that we understand how much that is. To that end he would always say " one thousand million dollars´ rather than ´ one billion´. I remember how helpful that was.
If , whenever a person hears ´one trillion´ dollars, I think it would be helpful to be reminded that what we are actually talking about is this:

One million million dollars.

Organizers of a rally planned for Washington, D.C. on Saturday in support of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi deny being part of the Muslim Brotherhood, or being Brotherhood supporters. The rally, they said during a news conference Friday, is about justice in Egypt. A long record, in many cases tested in court, says otherwise. The recently-formed Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights (EADHR) news conference featured Abdul Mawgoud Dardery, a spokesman for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood´s Freedom and Justice Party.

What does is say about a religion when, if two innocent teenage girls walking down the street are doused with acid by men on motorbikes, everyone assumes the attackers must be Muslims? We let a great many outrages go unremarked, but this one really should be noted. The victims are two British girls, Kirstie Trup and Katie Gee, both 18, who were spending their “gap year” between high school and university volunteering at an orphanage in Zanzibar. Zanzibar is a mostly Muslim place, so they had been warned about the need to fit in:

Stavanger, Norway — The National Review cruise pulled in on Tuesday to this coastal city, which clearly is the center of the country’s fabulously successful oil industry. Outside of Texas, it’s unlikely you would find a Petroleum Museum in the United States like the one that occupies a prominent place on Stavanger’s waterfront. We depend on the oil industry for our daily needs, but then either disparage it or ignore it. Not so Norway. The museum in Stavanger, which opened in 1997, makes obligatory nods toward climate change and alternative fuels. But among the pictures

SANAA, Yemen — The U.S. has sharply escalated its drone war in Yemen, with military officials in the Arab country reporting 34 suspected al-Qaida militants killed in less than two weeks, including three strikes on Thursday alone in which a dozen died. The action against al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, as the Yemen branch is known, comes amid a global terror alert issued by Washington. One Mideast official says the uptick is due to its leaders leaving themselves more vulnerable by moving from their normal hideouts toward areas where they could carry out attacks. Security inside Iraq is unraveling at an alarming pace, and al Qaeda terrorists there aren’t just pulling the thread; they’re setting it on fire. More than 1,000 Iraqis were killed in bombings and shootings last month, making July the deadliest month since violence between Sunni and Shiite Muslims peaked from 2006 to 2008, the United Nations says. On Thursday, gunmen stormed a policeman’s home in Tikrit and killed him, his wife and their three children. When neighbors later approached the house, a nearby car bomb exploded and killed eight people — a noted al Qaeda tactic,

When it comes to late-night comedy shows, President Obama is a prolific guest, but taxpayers might not be laughing along with him. Mr. Obama’s televised chat Tuesday on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno in Los Angeles was his 10th appearance on a TV talk show while in office, outpacing all presidents and hosts since the days of John F. Kennedy and Jack Paar in the early 1960s. The goal of these appearances is partly to boost the president’s image and partly to promote his agenda, and taxpayers foot the bill for Mr. Obama’s high-cost travel on Air Force One.

The recent security threat emanating from Yemen has complicated President Obama’s latest push to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, reviving doubts among conservative lawmakers about whether it is safe to return Yemeni detainees to their turbulent home country. More than half of the 166 prisoners being held in Guantanamo are from Yemen, and the transfer of many of them is essential to Obama’s long-promised goal of closing the detention center. But the recent threat involving al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, as the terrorist group’s Yemen-based branch is known, underlines the national security and political obstacles ahead.

This was prompted by intercepted conversations between two senior al-Qaeda figures, including top leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, US media said. Meanwhile the UK Foreign office says it has withdrawn embassy staff from Yemen and advises against all travel there. The US earlier said the closures in North Africa and the Middle East were "out of an abundance of caution".

As NPR media reporter David Folkenflik put it, “You think of stories like the Pentagon Papers, Watergate, these are all stories where The Washington Post led the nation’s understanding, the world’s understanding of some major issues.” Outside the liberal media, you wonder how long Post fans can wallow in their Nixon-crumbling polyester “glory days” in the early 1970s.
