Huh, doctors are worried; well there are a whole bunch of us who are worried sick over 0bamacare. One does not have to be a genius to realize you cannot give millions of people care who have not been covered in the past, and not to expect a HUGE increase in the price. All of us will get less care, and many of us will be paying a much higher price for our care. And the old people will get very little care going forward.

So the "better" is ridiculous idiocy which is fiscally untenable, the "worse" is everything else.

Due to word limitations, I will post this in three parts. I think it is important for you to know what we have learned on a real and personal basis.

I have a lot medical issues going on. My wife´s employer provides her with a ´flex account´ which is for those unfamiliar, a debit card to help pay for doctor visits, drugs and such but it isn´t a GIFT, it is taken from her pay meaning it is HER MONEY. Last year she had $5000 taken out but I incurred so many medical bills that even after her insurance (which cost her $575 a MONTH) her flex card was empty by June.

We decided that this time around we would increase that to $8000. Nope. We tell the insurance rep what we wanted to do and were told, "can´t do that." I asked why and was told, "New regulations say you can´t." Of course I asked, "WHOSE NEW REGULATIONS?" She starts telling me crap about how the IRS (the IRS? When did these slimy SOB´s start deciding my health care?) limits her flex card to $2500. (Which btw is nearly used up already and it is only March... but I digress.) After being nearly escorted from the room by security for raising a fuss about a bunch of ´never have worked morons´ electing a communist, we also found that now her monthly costs for a bit LESS medical coverage has gone to $675 a MONTH. (I hate it when people complain about having to pay a dollar for a medicine that costs me $48 after my insurance ya know?).

Fast forward to February. I got a letter telling me that a payment I made with her flex card had been declined. After I regained my composure, we called to ask why. I had a ton of surgery done in the last week of December both because I needed it - cancer in the throat tends to become a problem you understand and because it would have been cheaper than waiting until January and having to pay out more because of all new deductibles. I start talking to this lady and she tells me that flex cards can now only be used to pay medical bills incurred in the current year. I asked WHY? It is OUR MONEY.... I want to pay my medical bills I incurred before Christmas. "Well sir, under the new regulations, your flex card can only be used to pay for medical bills incurred in the current year." Again, I asked WHO decided this - after all, it is OUR MONEY. It isn´t a "gift" from Uncle Urkel, this is taken straight from her check. Obama had absolutely squat to do with that... except make her job harder... but that is an entirely different rant.

She tells me that under new regulations set up by the IRS and then I lost it. "WHY THE BLOODY H*LL DOES THE IRS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH OUR MONEY TO PAY MY MEDICAL BILLS?" She tells me that the IRS is now in charge of ´certain decisions´ in how insurance will work. Excuse the h*ll out of me lady, but this ain´t a gift from no one, this is OUR MONEY! If I was on welfare and had never worked a day in my entire life, I would understand but this was money for which my wife had worked.

She tells me that more new ´laws´ will be introduced come July 1, 2013 and administered by the IRS. I wait for the day that the useful idiots who thought their vote for the communist party would give them more free stuff get bit in the butt. It is coming. Mark my words. I´ve read some of the "Unaffordable Healthcare Scam" law. Those who ain´t working, never have worked, and haven´t worked in a long time are gonna be cut off some time in the very near future. Part of that section Nancy Piglosi told us about... you remember, "We´ll have to pass the bill to find out what it is about!"

I´m sorry staff. I´m not trying to bend the rules but if people don´t know, they will not find out until it happens to them.

When doctors cease to work the hours they do today, as they will do when on an employee status rather than a private practitioner responsible for his own patients, a huge shortage will emerge overnight. Obamadon´tcare, at every turn pushes doctors out of private practice and into hospital and clinic practices, where they are new public employee pawns, exactly what Obama had in mind. And, regrettably, these sorts of changes are seldom reversible.

Thank you for the details, #5-7. I´m so sorry for the fear and pain you and your wife are suffering through right now. Stay strong and don´t lose hope.

I am hearing stories like yours more and more. It will be mainstream all too soon.
But I´ve also noticed that those who keep hope alive and endure are the ones becoming the most resourceful. We will find a way to not only survive, but turn this around. Americans are known for that kind of grit.

#10, Aussies used to be known for that kind of grit but they have been disarmed and disheartened. A shadow of their former selves. They have lost their National Identity. As has most of Europe pursuing their socialist dreams.

This past Monday I saw my family MD for a usual checkup. He did not mention that he was giving up his practice. Yesterday I got a form letter from him advising just that, and that my medical records would be forwarded to group of doctors. Thank you, Obama!

Nice post # 5 and sorry to hear about your situation. If that isn´t nazism,I don´t know what is.People deserve to know what laws mean the day after they pass. It should take a few years to work kinks out of a law as it goes along.When someone challenges Obamacare on something,they just change it out of thin air with no new legislation changing it.

The people I feel sorry for are the ones that have to have insurance,you´re trapped in a liberal scheme from hell.

Where I live,doctors simply don´t bill you any more,it´s cash at the POS if you don´t have insurance.

The left despises medical savings accounts because they make too much sense.They´ll find a way to phase them out over time.

These abstract liberal schemes never work as intended on the drawing board because they have no clue on projecting human behavior.

We´re going to be $20+ trillion in debt by the time Obama leaves office. This stupid plan will be a big part of it..When companies close their doors,less tax revenue. People paying fines instead of premiums.

What I´m wondering now is if they´ll force doctors to notify the IRS if you don´t carry Obamacare.That could lead to a lot of people dying because they don´t want a fight with the jackbooted IRS.

I listened to an hour long radio program this morning, a company that advises businesses in how best to manage employee benefits.
This was neither pro/con Obamacare, just factual information on how to best prepare businesses to handle the upcoming changes.
This is going to be the biggest mess in history! Complete with exchanges (that are supposed to be fully operational in Oct. 2013)..heh ! At these exchanges, "Navigators" will help people enroll in the exchange that they can afford. One question was "how do people who sign up for exchanges pay the premiums" not where does the money come from, but how will people without checking or bank accounts pay and there is as yet, from this WH, NO answer.

I really dislike my local post office, it is dark, dank, dirty and staffed by, well...postal people. I imagine our future interactions with the health care business will be a similar scenario, postal workers wearing white lab coats instead of blue shirts. A nightmare actually.

Oh, and they will not be speaking English either, since foreign doctors will be purchased so much "cheaper".

I always like to read the opinions after an article and I did. One poster kept posting one reply after another and slammed doctors for being money-grubbing people etc.

There are some out there that really buy into Obama and his "supposed" compassion. Tell that to me after his very expensive Florida golf outing. I´m am so sick of the class warfare. I guess this person doesn´t realize what doctors have to give up in order to go to school. How about all of the money that colleges and universities bring in?

I´m telling you - Obama is probably baffled himself at how many people he bamboozled. Not buying what he´s trying to sell...

"What´s to come" is the complete collapse of the current healthcare system. It will be reborn first as an underground system, will erase obamacare and will probably be what we have needed for a long time. The government and the insurance companies will be left by the wayside, wondering what happened.

He didn´t say that he was being replaced by a smart phone, though.

Yes, they cut the FSA contribution in half starting this year. It was $5,000 and is now $2,500. This is hurting my family very, very much. I am foregoing knee surgery and living with the pain (I work on my feet all day). Last night I woke up in pain and I don´t know what to do. I am furious that the government has injected itself into our health. I despise them and all of the morons who voted for this.

Just been listening to the 911 tape of the operator telling the Nurse at the Retirement Home to give CPR to the 80+ year old woman. I could also sense her frustration knowing that this old lady was going to die. She was dealing with a brick wall and there was no way through it. We now all have our own brick wall.

I will not heap on about the IRS. They get their orders from Congress so let´s point our fingers in the right direction.

Because of cancer, an unrelated accident and regular doc visits because I am older than I was, I have spent the last few months with some doc appointments. I am not going to heap on the doctors. They have told me there are tests they are now no longer able to order for me, unless I am willing to pay for them. It will be cheaper for me to take a round trip visit to a Central American country and have the tests conducted while at the same time taking a nice week´s vacation. Yes, cheaper.

It´s not coming people. It´s HERE. And our friend (5,6,7) has spelled it out for us. We do nothing and it continues to creep. It´s not going away until Obama goes away.
