1. There are NOT that as many Conservatives as we need in our country these days.

2. Many more R voters than we care to admit are disinterested or even ´low information voters´

3. We need ALL the help we can get in battling Great Leader and the takeover of our country ........ with little time .......... given the finality of the stakes.

3. GOProud is a Conservative ........... they should return to CPAC if they wish .......... they support Consecutive causes ......... are NOT for Gay Marriage or other leftist things.

CHRISTIE on the other hand is NOT ´Conservative´ ........... and CPAC inviting him, or not ......... is up to them. He IS however ´conservative´ on some issues.

I don´t agree with many of his decisions and actions ............ but he is New Jersey´s ELECTED R Governor ........... and has to function in that political environment ...... think Scott Brown .......... it´s doubtful an ideologically ´pure´ Conservative can be elected in New Jersey ............ look at Reagan´s California votes.

It’s the OLD PROBLEM ............. a true ´Purity´ Conservative litmus test ......... who is to decide .......... AND the all important problem of ´Electability’.

Given what´s at stake ......... the future of the Republic ......... can we take the chance of failure by not talking to those who want to speak with us?

The GOProud CPAC question is a diversion ........ let’s gets us back to the ............... ´REAL problem´ for the ideologically based.

What is ´pure´ Conservatism ........ defined by whom ........ and are we prepared to sacrifice the nation if we don´t find it in all ´self-identified´ Conservatives.

Listen to the interview------he did not agree like it is being portrayed. Repeated attempts by Andrea T. finally out of disgusts and rephrasing of her questions to where only a "yes" answer could be made is where this crap comes from.

GOProud does support gay marriage. They just want it done state-by-state. Here are two statements from their website:

"GOProud believes that stable, loving, committed relationships are the cornerstone of our society and should be protected and encouraged for all couples - including gay and lesbian couples. We believe that the decision about how to best do this is one that should be made at the state level and that these decisions are best made by the people directly or through their elected representatives - not by unelected judges."

"We understand that there are people of deep faith who may have religious objections to marriage. We respect those differences and believe that no church or religious institution should ever be forced to solemnize a marriage that is against its teachings."

That last bit sounds fine, until you realize that it offers no protection to individuals in their private or business lives. To these folks, faith is something that happens inside a church building. Everything else is fair game.

What OP and #3 said. IMHO, a "big tent" is far better than NO tent, which is where the GOP is headed.

Stop with the dividing. If you are part of GoProud then your not welcome as you will be for gay marriage (even if they say they are not). Same for black, hispanics, whatever other groups in Congress. You represent ALL the people or get out.

The only thing we need to hear from are the people who need to be elected to reduce the massive spending and to be proud of America.

Not some fringe groups that the corrupt media will only go to for comments as they only go to McCain and other RINOs.
