I like Pat Caddell generally, but this article is moronic. The most anti-American-corrupt-president-in history should never have his name mentioned in the same sentence as President Nixon who was a Patriot and loved this country! Do they really want to discuss the "enemy´s list" of Nixon and compare it to the thuggery going on the W.H. now? I think not. BTW, President Nixon would have never allowed OUR Embassy employees to be killed by terrorists because he had to fly to Las Vegas the next day for a Fundraiser. Watergate was a joke and a hatchet job by Bob Woodward and his fellow "scribes" at the WaPoop 40 years ago. Get serious.

He´s not comparing accomplishments, patriotism, etc. He´s comparing the tone. Nixon did have an enemies list, he was paranoid, his staff did do everything it could to intimidate the press. Obama is doing the same thing. Only substitute narcissism for paranoia.

Nixon was a great man who should never have been forced to resign. Obama´s a loser who should never have been elected.

This hatred eventually led to the "progressives" bringing him down via a political burglary Nixon was not involved in but tried to cover-up. Obama is not a staunch anti-communist. The Press hounded everyone who dared to be Nixon´s friend. Here in Florida, the Miami Herald ran, several times, pages and pages of so called "exposes" of a local banker Bebe Reboza (now deceased) insinuating that he might have, could have, maybe, did something. I read every word and they had nothing on Reboza because there was nothing to be had. If you only glanced at the headline and failed to read the two or three pages you thought there must be evidence. When Reboza died the Miami Herald published an obituary lauding Reboza for his honesty and charitable contributions. I wrote them a letter, that they of course did not publish.

Caddell knows how to inflict maximum pain on leftists... associating Obama with Nixon is worse than likening Obama to Hitler or Stalin. The left in this country despises Nixon more than any of the leftists despots of the 20th century. Caddell knows what he´s doing here.

Yes Nixon loved America while Obama dislikes America and Nixon was a competent leader who performed his presidential duties well while Obama is a campaigner who doesn´t do presidential duties (he leaves that to his entourage of psychophantic toadies) but recall what Pat Caddell is comparing here:

That´s true, Obama trusts no one but his toadies and he condones lawlessness (especially in ignoring the constitution) more than any president before him. Nixon broke the law because he was fearful the Democrats were out to get him but breaking the law qualifies that fear as paranoia (is the opposition ever not out to get the president?). And, of course, Nixon lied and Obama lies.


In law breaking and lie telling Obama surpasses Nixon (because his is a sustained effort) but Caddell is not far wrong.
