For an encore our illustrious ´president´ will bring up the next ´sky is falling´ scenario at the end of March when the Government RUNS OUT OF MONEY...not a peep is heard now but in a week or so the end of the world is on his schedule...I know we have heard his ´the end is near´, quick, just sign the check and I will save the earth...the next drama will be a doozie since he needs a quick trillion or two to pay the cell phones, the hundreds of training sessions that create NO jobs, and more windmill farms that would collapse without Government subsidies, more money for the Arabs, Muslims, and hiring more Federal workers that will become future Democratic voters if they want to keep their jobs, and lately more money needed to support the thousands of illegals he has ordered released. A top State Department official met with a top representative of the North Korean government in New York in March, The Cable has learned. Clifford Hart, the State Department´s special envoy to the now-defunct six-party talks, met North Korea´s deputy ambassador to the United Nations Han Song-ryol in mid-March, just before North Korea began its latest string of provocative statements and actions, diplomatic sources said. The meeting was done through what´s known in diplomatic circles as the "New York channel," the most common method of direct communication between Washington and Pyongyang.

DUBAI - A powerful earthquake killed four people in southern Iran on Tuesday close to the country´s only nuclear power station, state television and agencies reported. A Red Cross official said two villages had been heavily damaged by the magnitude 6.3 quake but the Russian company that built the Bushehr plant said the reactor was undamaged. Offices in the capitals of Qatar and Bahrain were evacuated after the quake, whose epicenter was 89 km (55 miles) southeast of the port city of Bushehr, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

So maybe life in the old days wasn´t all Ozzy and Harriet, or Wally and Beaver. In their day, however, we do know that one in ten school-age children were not being diagnosed with ADHD. That also means two-thirds of those children were not being treated with stimulants like Ritalin and Adderall. Neither were 5% of 12-19 year olds taking anti-depressants. This raises the question: besides the egregious influence of pill-pushing pharmaceutical companies, what was different in American life previous to the prescription drug culture in which our children now live?

North Korea intensified threats of an imminent conflict against the United States and the South on Tuesday, warning foreigners to evacuate South Korea to avoid being dragged into a "merciless, sacred, retaliatory war". The North´s latest antagonistic message belied an atmosphere free of anxiety in the South Korean capital, where the city center was bustling with traffic and offices operated normally. Pyongyang has shown no sign of preparing its 1.2 million-strong army for war, indicating the threat could be partly intended to bolster Kim Jong-un, 30, the third in his family to lead the reclusive country.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
