More advice from Joe Biden:
´Just fire the shotgun

Washington Examiner, by Michal Conger

In an interview with Field & Stream magazine on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden once again touted shotguns as the best weapon for self-defense, offering advice similar to the questionable instructions he gave during a Facebook town hall last week. During that interview, Biden explained his suggestion to his wife Jill for handling an intruder. “If there’s ever a problem,” Biden said he told his wife, “just walk out on the balcony here— walk out, put that double barrel shot gun and fire two blasts outside the house.” The problem with Biden’s advice is that it would empty the

Oh my. He just never gets any better. How long before the White House stuffs him in some closet somewhere. This is certainly not helpful to their cause.

Two blasts out the door or on the patio with a double barrel effectively empties the shotgun. Hope his wife has access to shells and knows how to reload.....

If there is a door between you and the assailant, the police will say that you were not in imminent danger, and arrest you for shooting someone.

I prefer a sawn-off pump shotgun and blasting any strange car in my driveway. One blast through the windshield [driver´s side]; one blast to the radiator; and the rest of the shells blasted into remaining windows. Why give any potential perps a chance to get out of the car and surround your house? Trying to get in 2 or 3 places at once? Maybe on different floors?

/s, just in case. And no, I don´t really agree that shotguns of any kind are the "best home defense weapon."

#10: Indeed. Like, maybe, shooting an officer responding to your call.

Remember Biden´s opponent in the 2008 election? I believe her name was Sarah Palin. Can you imagine the media´s reaction if she started advising people to blast away with a shotgun from their balconies and through their front doors?

Biden recommends shooting through the door? In NY, that´ll get you immediately arrested and prosecuted. You have to wait until the sickko comes inside, turns on the light so you can see if the sickko has a weapon and if so, then decide if your life is in imminent danger, and then and only then can you shoot. If the sickko doesn´t turn on the light, then you can´t shoot him because that´ll get you immediately arrested and prosecuted because you´re unable to determine if your life is in imminent danger. Biden must have an IQ of 65 and so does the state of NY.

The attempted arrest of an allegedly hate-mongering teen aboard a Brooklyn subway quickly turned into a wild showdown between cops and a roiled mob, according to sources and video obtained by the Daily News. The melee began when suspect Stephan Stowe, 17, and a group of eight friends approached a Jewish man wearing a yarmulke aboard a Brooklyn-bound 3 train just before 3 p.m. Monday, police sources said Wednesday. "Assalamu Alaikum," Stowe said to the man, using a common greeting among Muslims that means, "Peace be with you,"

Tonight after the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, President Obama called on Americans not to “rush to judgment against groups of people.” The president applies such thinking when terrorists strike and kill, but not to Americans who happen to disagree with him. He spent Wednesday afternoon yelling at Americans who disagree with him on gun ownership. Saturday, the political army that answers directly to Barack Obama and no one else, Organizing for Action, will muster in Dallas to target Sen. Ted Cruz for disagreeing with him on gun ownership. Asserting the need to not be restricted by political correctness, King said police should realize the threat comes from Muslims. “Police have to be in the community, they have to build up as many sources as they can, and they have to realize that the threat is coming from the Muslim community and increase surveillance there,” King asserted. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced his intention to expand his state’s gun control laws. But there’s some flaws to his logic. Christie acknowledges there is no way to prevent all violence in our society, but he says it is the job of government to question, to scrutinize and to demand more in an attempt to address the problem. Christie believes the government has the right to “demand more” from law-abiding citizens, but acknowledges it can’t do the same to criminals. This is standard gun control fare. The FBI admitted Friday they interviewed the now-deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev two years ago and failed to find any incriminating information about him. As first reported by CBS News correspondent Bob Orr, the FBI interviewed Tsarnaev, the elder brother of at-large bombing suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, at the request of a foreign government to see if he had any extremist ties, but failed to find any linkage. Both Tsarnaev brothers were legal permanent residents of the U.S. There is no evidence so far that either brother received any tactical training.

In his State of the Union address to the American people earlier this year, Barack Obama declared that he was "confident" of achieving "our objective of defeating the core of al-Qaeda". Although he acknowledged the need to pursue the "remnants" of the terrorist group and its affiliates, the overall message was clear – al-Qaeda was badly degraded, the tides of war were receding and the US was winning this fight that was no longer even officially a war. The Boston bombings would appear to present a fundamental challenge to that assessment and once again bring the nagging uncertainty of

In the middle of Fox News’ coverage of the ongoing manhunt in the Boston area for the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, Chris Wallace chimed in with a political take. Commenting the region that is under a firm lockdown, Wallace questioned whether the residents in those neighborhoods “might like a gun” to protect themselves. “There are so many issues here,” Wallace said, noting the various pieces of information we don’t know (such as: Did the suspects see the information the FBI released?). He then offered one an example of an issue “we’ll be talking about Sunday.”

We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. That ideology motivates some Muslims to kill innocent people. But you´re allowed to be a radical Muslim in America.

So once again, no good deed goes unpunished. They turn into mass murderers. We bring in thousands of Muslims from a primitive society that has been battling Christians for centuries, and put them into a peaceful Christian society — what could possible go wrong? This is what I was thinking about yesterday, with much of the city under what amounted to martial law.
