Is Obama Losing His Media
Allies Over The Sequester?

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Politics: Here´s a pretty good sign that President Obama is losing the sequester fight: Even his best friends in the press are starting to chafe at the desperate and deceptive warnings coming from him and his administration. At one of his countless anti-sequester events, Obama warned that the budget cuts will "gut critical investments," "weaken America´s economic recovery" and "weaken our military readiness." He said tens of thousands of parents will scramble to find child care, and hundreds of thousands will "lose access to primary care and preventive care." Obama´s education secretary went on Sunday talk shows to suggest that 40,000

The media scrutiny is as fake and shallow as the sequester "crisis" hype from Zero.

CNN has given Woodward a forum.

WH has threatened Woodward in an email.

It only takes a few courageous journalists with a "liberal" forum to stop Obama in his tracks.

No. The LSM are still in the tank for 0bama. They simply cannot help themselves. They also would have to face the results of their last six years´ labor. No way.

They´ll go down defending him to the death and his spouse after him.

I can´t see them turning out their Love Lights for the One, but I can see that polls are starting to impact their story line. Americans are not paying attention to the fear mongering, they are too busy trying to pay for groceries, gas, their rent, etc. to give any time to the Givernment´s laments about teeny tiny budget cuts.

Will Woodward´s experience be the tipping point? Could some in the media finally be so ashamed of the bullying they have been expected to endure, that they will rebel?

The media can never dump Obama without completely inverting their world view and exposing themselves as asinine idiots for their former slobbering infatuation. If Obama fails, they´ll fall back to the old defense of failed socialists and socialist regimes: they were right in their principles but flawed in their execution.

Woodward has shown the toadies in the media how to treat a bully. Obama has made it clear to the members of the LSM that he will not tolerate any criticism, if they do they are blacklisted. When he threatens you through his "advisors" have proof and make it public. If they all started doing that Obama would have to start treating them with respect.

This administration is so corrupt, it won´t be stopped until one of their own breaks. Woodward knows that Obama chief thug is surrounded by equal thugs.

Remember, kids, when Pinocchio lied, his nose grew longer, it got so long it looked like a fishing pole on his face. Diane Sawyer´s nose is growing long, too. Obie´s lies are stretching all the socialist news
"casters" over the brink of reality. The TV media protectionism from the truth is so brutal, that ordinary socialist comedians like letterman leno kimmel, CAN´T even make jokes about all this magnificent lying. There isn´t ONE Will Rogers out there to keep us in balance with honesty and truth.
The elder Bob Woodward is the one and only indicator to honesty, the only breakthrough of the wall of lies. We have our own communist Berlin wall, and Bob made a visible crack in that wall of lies. At least it´s a start. All the Diane Sawyers are the Berlin Wall of Communist Lies.

Or maybe the question should be shortened to "Is Obama Losing His Media Allies?"

Bob Woodward´s comments have received the most attention but there have been little hairline cracks appearing in the fortress walls of media support recently. Alone, they are not attracting much notice, but together.....????

Print media is shrinking rapidly with two more venerable publications bailing out so far this week. How many magazines and newspapers does that make now - I´ve lost count. The New York Times is *again* putting on the block the company that operates The Boston Globe.

Can the media find refuge in tv and internet outlets? The ranking of cable news/commentary shows puts conservatives at the top, lefties way down at the bottom.

The almighty Marxist in Chief offended the media´s delicate sensibilities by excluding them from covering his expensive golf vacation. They protested loudly and Pres. Pantload held a private feather-smoothing session.

At some point even little minds as obtuse as the people who are euphemistically referred to as "reporters and journalists" are being considered so expendable by the administration that they are floating out to sea and the ice floe on which they are huddled is growing smaller and thinner.

What kind of work does a second-string reporter do when he´s out of a job and there´s nowhere to send his resume?

No, they won´t.

They cover up for Obama even when his actions get hundreds of Mexicans murdered with weapons Obama sold to drug cartels.

They cover up for Obama when his inaction gets American ambassadors raped and murdered.

SEOUL -- South Korea´s Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae said Monday there are signs that North Korea may be preparing for another nuclear test. In a meeting with lawmakers, the policymaker said that Seoul is aware of indications that another test is being planned, but he failed to go into details. The remarks came after a lawmaker citing unspecified reports said that there has been an increase in the movements of vehicles and personnel near the Punggye-ri test complex in North Hamgyong Province.

Today, Kim Jang-soo, South Korea’s new national security director, said North Korea may fire off a missile as soon as Wednesday. The launch will undoubtedly be a test of an intermediate-range missile, not an attack. North Korea last week moved two missiles, which were subsequently loaded onto mobile launchers, to its east coast. Many expect the missiles, which have been subsequently moved to hidden locations, will be fired in trajectories arcing over Japan. The Pentagon is not at the moment especially concerned about Pyongyang’s longest-range missile, the Taepodong-2, a variant of the successfully tested Unha-3 rocket.

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

South Korea is bracing for a protracted standoff with the North that could include at least one missile test-launch and a border skirmish. On Friday, North Korea attempted to heighten fears of military conflict when it told embassies in its capital, Pyongyang, that it could not guarantee the safety of their staff in the event of war. In another sign that it is determined to increase the pressure, Pyongyang extended a ban preventing South Korean officials from entering the Kaesong industrial complex – which it operates jointly with the South – for a fourth day.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

Annette Funicello, the dark-haired darling of TV´s “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 1950s who further cemented her status as a pop-culture icon in the ´60s by teaming with Frankie Avalon in a popular series of “beach” movies, died Monday.
