Is Obama Losing His Media
Allies Over The Sequester?

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Politics: Here´s a pretty good sign that President Obama is losing the sequester fight: Even his best friends in the press are starting to chafe at the desperate and deceptive warnings coming from him and his administration. At one of his countless anti-sequester events, Obama warned that the budget cuts will "gut critical investments," "weaken America´s economic recovery" and "weaken our military readiness." He said tens of thousands of parents will scramble to find child care, and hundreds of thousands will "lose access to primary care and preventive care." Obama´s education secretary went on Sunday talk shows to suggest that 40,000

The media scrutiny is as fake and shallow as the sequester "crisis" hype from Zero.

CNN has given Woodward a forum.

WH has threatened Woodward in an email.

No. The LSM are still in the tank for 0bama. They simply cannot help themselves. They also would have to face the results of their last six years´ labor. No way.

They´ll go down defending him to the death and his spouse after him.

I can´t see them turning out their Love Lights for the One, but I can see that polls are starting to impact their story line. Americans are not paying attention to the fear mongering, they are too busy trying to pay for groceries, gas, their rent, etc. to give any time to the Givernment´s laments about teeny tiny budget cuts.

If Obama fails, they´ll fall back to the old defense of failed socialists and socialist regimes: they were right in their principles but flawed in their execution.

Woodward has shown the toadies in the media how to treat a bully. Obama has made it clear to the members of the LSM that he will not tolerate any criticism, if they do they are blacklisted. When he threatens you through his "advisors" have proof and make it public. If they all started doing that Obama would have to start treating them with respect.

Remember, kids, when Pinocchio lied, his nose grew longer, it got so long it looked like a fishing pole on his face. Diane Sawyer´s nose is growing long, too. Obie´s lies are stretching all the socialist news
"casters" over the brink of reality. The TV media protectionism from the truth is so brutal, that ordinary socialist comedians like letterman leno kimmel, CAN´T even make jokes about all this magnificent lying. There isn´t ONE Will Rogers out there to keep us in balance with honesty and truth.
The elder Bob Woodward is the one and only indicator to honesty, the only breakthrough of the wall of lies. We have our own communist Berlin wall, and Bob made a visible crack in that wall of lies. At least it´s a start. All the Diane Sawyers are the Berlin Wall of Communist Lies.

Or maybe the question should be shortened to "Is Obama Losing His Media Allies?"

Bob Woodward´s comments have received the most attention but there have been little hairline cracks appearing in the fortress walls of media support recently. Alone, they are not attracting much notice, but together.....????

Print media is shrinking rapidly with two more venerable publications bailing out so far this week. How many magazines and newspapers does that make now - I´ve lost count. The New York Times is *again* putting on the block the company that operates The Boston Globe.

Can the media find refuge in tv and internet outlets? The ranking of cable news/commentary shows puts conservatives at the top, lefties way down at the bottom.

The almighty Marxist in Chief offended the media´s delicate sensibilities by excluding them from covering his expensive golf vacation. They protested loudly and Pres. Pantload held a private feather-smoothing session.

At some point even little minds as obtuse as the people who are euphemistically referred to as "reporters and journalists" are being considered so expendable by the administration that they are floating out to sea and the ice floe on which they are huddled is growing smaller and thinner.

What kind of work does a second-string reporter do when he´s out of a job and there´s nowhere to send his resume?

No, they won´t.

They cover up for Obama even when his actions get hundreds of Mexicans murdered with weapons Obama sold to drug cartels.

They cover up for Obama when his inaction gets American ambassadors raped and murdered.

The American press is the most dishonest and corrupt media in the world. Of course they´ll stick by their Democrat allies. If the choice is tell the truth or protect the DNC, members of the MFM will always protect the DNC.

The gangster is part of the criminal world of the defendant, so, of course lying is his only option. That´s the story of TVs mafia media and one of its top crime bosses

The missing Malaysia Airlines plane was ´thrown around like a fighter jet´ just after it lost contact with the authorities in a bid to dodge radar, Malaysian military investigators believe. Flight MH370, which disappeared more than a month ago en route to Beijing, is thought to have climbed to heights of 45,000ft - 10,000ft above its normal altitude - before plummeting to just below 5,000ft. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

BUNKERVILLE -- The gathering of rancher Cliven Bundy´s cattle in northeast Clark County has been stopped by the director of the Bureau of Land Management. Bundy is meeting this morning with Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie to discuss a possible solution to his dispute with the BLM. Metro Officer Jesse Roybal confirmed that Gillespie was in the Bunkerville area this morning to meet with Bundy. The BLM had been using contract cowboys to round up Bundy´s 900 head of cattle that have been grazing over 600,000 square acres in northeast Clark County for more than 20 years without his payment of grazing fees. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens are getting shocking letters in their mailboxes instead of tax refund checks – nastygrams informing them that the federal government has seized their money to repay debts their parents decades-old debts that they never settled. In some cases, they´re debts the parents never knew they had. And no one warned their children. The 2008 Farm Bill included a single line that made it possible, allowing the government for the first time to hunt down individual taxpayers who have owed Uncle Sam money for more than ten years. If the debtor is deceased, according to the Federal Trade

Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. The official said the incident appeared to be “premeditated.”

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Cliven Bundy and his

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

Let me obliterate a bit of confusion here: the Obama administration attempted to go to war with a rancher in Nevada. Let me amplify a little bit of truth: They tucked tail and have returned home. And let me add a bit of clarity: they had no choice! As the nation began to become familiar with the plight of the family of Cliven Bundy, many of us harkened back to another standoff in which the Federal government attempted to bully it´s outcome: Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidian massacre. It is telling that in the Nevada case the feds pulled out so

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
